    Great game, It is like skyrim but more combat&strategy involved and there is no main story you make your own.
    If you want to play this game beware of the cancerous bandits that attack you every 3 mins in the early game and when to just give them cash and run

You can be whoever you want in this open-world. You can roleplay. You can fight till end and you can build your kingdom. You can be a merchant and trade.     10/10 no doubt. I growed up with Mount and Blade series and its an amazing game. Combat is well made, easy to learn but hard to master. At first glance Mount and Blade warband looks very simple, get army, fight some opponents, get better equipment and start conquering. But there is soooo much more. Extremely realistic economics that keeps changing? Checked. Politics? Checked. Big variety10/10 no doubt. I growed up with Mount and Blade series and its an amazing game. Combat is well made, easy to learn but hard to master. At first glance Mount and Blade warband looks very simple, get army, fight some opponents, get better equipment and start conquering. But there is soooo much more. Extremely realistic economics that keeps changing? Checked. Politics? Checked. Big variety of quests? Checked. Ton and ton of mods? Checked. Multiplayer? Checked. Being able to custom your character? Checked. Upgrading skills? Checked. Factions that mirrors real historic faction (such as Vikings, Germans, Arabs etc)? Checked. Being able to do some random stuff through cheats? Checked. Complex relationships with other lords and kings? Checked.

    Rather untaken approach to game design, there isnt a main story you are in a world that is reactive and where things unrelated to you will happen. The story is yours to create, has immense role play potential but the lack of substantial quest line can leave people wandering around sometimes.

    It is nice to wander through the lands of Calradia, to conquer, to chase bandits and even to be captured. The mechanics are fun and easy to get used to. Using the points where each nation is good and bad adds strategy to the game. Definitely, both native and modes are very enjoyable. The best Turkish game (Until the full version of Bannerlord is released, of course). cCc

    This game has provided me with a countless number of hours of fun. The gameplay and mechanics are basic but the insane amounts of well made mods provide a lot of additional content story and campaigns.

    Very Very addicting and fun game, the Base game has a huge amount of content ( I haven't even scratched the surface myself). As well as the base game content being huge there is a wealth of Overhaul mods that add a ton of content, in fact, these overhaul mods are more like separate games than mods some of these mods are just that good :).     Just pick random version of mount and blade and go play it for a week. If you like rpgs and strategy games you will understand why we love it. You can play RPG and strategy AT THE SAMETIME. What more you want?:D

    This game better then bannerlord. Game DLC's is very good especially napelonic wars. You can play napelonic wars in multiplayer its very funny.

    As someone who has spent about eighty hours on this game, I say that the game is great. There is a sharp combat system. Really good quality. Over the years, it manages to be a playable game.

    The game is good but sometimes it is boring because you are doing the same things. The best thing is you can play more than 600 hours. It is a long game. If they could do more content in it, this game could be maybe one of the best game ever.

    Shot, I love this game. I played it like 500 hours. It is like combine of strategy and action with great harmony. Battles (especially siege battles) are exciting and enjoyable. It feels like you can be whatever you want in that world but in the end, you always became a lord and fight for the crown of caldaria.

    Mods + conversions + mods + next conversions + (...) = hundreds or thousands of hours.
    Game is not perfect but many ways better and unique than other games.
    Only m&b2 could be better, but for now i miss a specially hi fantasy conversions.

    Many years after its release, it's still a much better game than Bannerlord. As long as this game exists, it's unlikely that Bannerlord will really get a chance. The developers are so visionless and lazy that the game they made in 2010 still looks better than the game they made in 2022, and that's a serious problem.     If your computer is bad and you want to play medieval game, this game is perfect. But if your computer is good, you should play Bannerlord.

    I have been playing Mount & Blade(Classic, Warband and 2 DLCs) for over 10 years and i want to thank both TaleWorlds and Paradox for childhood and game, which I play every year. I had fun with native, with mods, with cheats, with multiplayer.

    Among the best RPG sandboxes of all time. Many seperate, simple systems like reputation, status, unit power, economics, combine into an unstoppable juggernaut of fun. Sieges and battles are so satisfying, and the politics surrounding them are engaging enough to fill the downtime.

    This is one of my favorite games of all time. Everything from gameplay to visuals are way ahead of it’s time.

    NPC interactions are excellent, customizability is fantastic, gameplay is wonderful.

    A blank canvas. The game creates a world with little restrictions and you play what you want. Excellent combat simulator and infinite options with zero history. The game depends excessively on mods.

    In a league of it's own and has so many good mods and a very good community. It even has mechanics bannerlord does not. It's an eternal classic.

    Although there is still room for improvement, Warband's excellent combat system, respectable multiplayer and a lifespan that will prove to be a total timesink means that the game is well worth the USD$29.99 price tag on Steam. Fans of the action RPG genre and medieval games in general would do well to pick this one up.

    All in all, Mount and Blade: Warband is a great game, even despite its flaws. The overall concept is satisfying, and with a more heavyweight publisher behind the team at TaleWorlds, this is one game that could be absolutely great.

    On the one hand, there are the open world and the freedom to do what you want to do, on the other hand, the world is lifeless. It's a great game for some people, but the opposite for most.
