    Great beat'em up, pixelart is top notch. The fact that it's one of those rare games in what you can kill communists, makes it double fun! If you like violent pixel games like Hotline Miami this one you will like as well.

    Ate o momento tava no gamepass.
    Um otimo beat em up como o street of rage ou final fight, porem este jogo é para +18 devido o uso de drogas e a violencia.

    Great game, fun and brutal and a nice story. I especially recommend it if you liked the style of Hotline Miami.
    Also, the game is about fighting the Russian mafia in the USSR, so honestly I don't get why everyone starts complaining as soon as Russians are involved... no one calls anyone americophobic for games based in America, huh?

    Streets of Rage meets Hotline Miami. An awesome mixture.
    The gameplay is pretty good, classic fast-paced action.
    The difficulty is damn high, good for a challenge.
    Story is kinda like a prequel to hotline miami.
    The artstyle is the good kind of retro too.

    Congratulation to the Cartel which succeeded has to restore me the first shivers of Streets of rage.
    Mother Russia Bleeds is simply the perfect compromise between a gameplay newschool (more nervous than Streets of rage, more elaborate outfits of knocks) and an atmosphere oldschool.
    It hits(burns), that bleeds, that explodes in all directions, the amateurs of violence will be served    Congratulation to the Cartel which succeeded has to restore me the first shivers of Streets of rage.
    Mother Russia Bleeds is simply the perfect compromise between a gameplay newschool (more nervous than Streets of rage, more elaborate outfits of knocks) and an atmosphere oldschool.
    It hits(burns), that bleeds, that explodes in all directions, the amateurs of violence will be served (thank you the style devolver one more time)

    Fun and atmospheric, the game grips you from the starting screen by your nostalgia and then throws you into artistic and ultra-violent gameplay, seen through modern nihilistic glasses of post-soviet apocalypse.

    Some issues... Hope it will be fixed on next patch. Otherwise... got a **** blast... Great game feeling, great ambiance, great music, great great great!

    Maybe need online... But it's already enough!

    All the arty part is great, ambiance, music, animations, graphics... dirt, violent, and grotesque. (The nightclub stage, geez...) Wonderful work on that part.

    But, game mechanics, wich are great part of a game like that, are completely broken. It's a complete mess, you loose track of your own character too easily, your ridiculous range combine to an insane and unforgiving precision    All the arty part is great, ambiance, music, animations, graphics... dirt, violent, and grotesque. (The nightclub stage, geez...) Wonderful work on that part.

    But, game mechanics, wich are great part of a game like that, are completely broken. It's a complete mess, you loose track of your own character too easily, your ridiculous range combine to an insane and unforgiving precision needed to hit, finish, or just heal a down teamate is totally absurd and irrelevant in such a ocean of mobs, all very dangerous, not to saying totally OP. Dev imagined it was not necessary to magnetize them a bit, wich is maybe the major issue of this game, and scaled the difficulty in the dumbest way possible : more mobs, with more hp and OS weapons. Have I mentioned the so cool ground finisher moves are undoable in practice because way too long (hp tank mobs) and anything can't interrupt them ? Have i aslo mentioned the only way to cancel a finisher in emergency is to jump ?? Why, for christ sake ?
    Absolutely no pleasure in all this, because all the gameplay is full of idiot and illogical choices. Shame, because this game was damn sexy. But let's be serious : When you claim you are a successor of Street of Rage, you should reinstall and play it before doing anything else.    … Expand

    Don't consider russian's **** Mother Russia Bleeds is the legacy of streets of rage.
    Artistic direction is perfect.
    Gameplay is violent as i expected.
    Big replay value with the arena mode.
    A great beat them up.

    An Excellent game! This includes about 34 rage quits and I still came back for more. I got more enjoyment out of this than I have the last year of gaming.

    This game was definitely what I expected it to be ! A really perfect BTA with a really good artwork and a really fun gameplay. Had no problems with the controls. I like the several cinematographic reference (I let you find them) and the soundtrack is perfect to liven up the atmosphere. Took me 4 hours to finish the game on normal mode... now I'll try to hit the hardcore mode ! I dugThis game was definitely what I expected it to be !     Loved this game as much as I loved old school beat em ups.
    It's a blast! Loved the artstyle , story, music, sfx, controls too. Hope they will be a MRB2!

    I dont get negative reviews. Its class of its own - there is no other beatem up on the market as good as this one. Highly enjoyable, highly recommended (if Youre adult, not for childrens).

    P.S. Russophobic? Dont make me laugh, Youre overreacting. Besides Russia is a bit strange country, dont You think? Check russian driving compilation. Check what police does to car drivers in Russia -    I dont get negative reviews. Its class of its own - there is no other beatem up on the market as good as this one.     Besides Russia is a bit strange country, dont You think? Check russian driving compilation. Check what police does to car drivers in Russia - exactly what You do in this game - beat the crap out of drivers :) Type Russia in Youtube and check all the videos. Your nation seems to be drunk and violent, You all are responsible that we get this impression, not by a video game which is plain fun. You could call it Street of Rage painted with a layer of Hotline Miami and liberally smeared with Soviet-era filth, but even that is doing the game a disservice. From the stylistical visuals to the intoxicating soundtrack by Fixions, from the satisfying crunch of smashing a mobster's skull to paste to the blissful crack of fire spewing from the barrel of a bloodstained AK-47, this game is an experience to be savored. The controls are tight and responsive, and the combat is light enough to easily learn while still deep enough to keep you on your toes to the very end. Enemies are varied, not only in appearance but in behavior and preferred manner of attack, forcing you to constantly adapt to changing situations, especially when stage hazards present themselves.

    unplayable with a keyboard....can't redefine controls properly.you can rebind them,except you can't rebind the move keys to the cursor keys...what's the sense in that?
    the old MAME has better customization than this....

    Mediocre y malo hasta decir basta. No he podido ver que mucha gente le da 10 casi podria decirse por la nostalgia de Streets of Rage pero si lo vemos desde un punto de vista objetivo esto es lo que tenemos: Una jugabilidad pesima, si lo juegas en teclado te va a terminar reventando un tendon de la mano, las hitbox de los personajes parecen recortadas por un niño de 5 años, el modoMediocre y malo hasta decir basta. No he podido ver que mucha gente le da 10 casi podria decirse por la nostalgia de Streets of Rage pero si lo vemos desde un punto de vista objetivo esto es lo que tenemos: Una jugabilidad pesima, si lo juegas en teclado te va a terminar reventando un tendon de la mano, las hitbox de los personajes parecen recortadas por un niño de 5 años, el modo cooperativo con bots se vuelve tan o mas tedioso que jugando en solitario y no por el aumento de dificultad si no por que la IA es absurdamente inutil . Lo siento por todos los que dicen que es "impresionante"...... Si, impresionantemente malo. La historia es una mierda para que vamos a engañarnos y solo avanzas por escenarios repetitivos donde la dificultad aumentada consiste en...... Añadir millares mas de enemigos en tu pantalla...... A ver señores de Cartel la dificultad se podria marcar por la complejidad de movimientos de los enemigos, por una mayor salud, por mas fuerza en sus golpes..... Pero ¿Por meter mas cantidad de enemigos en una pantalla que no da mas de si? ¿A eso le llamas dificulttad añadida?. El problema del juego es que los enemigos genericos se vuelven mas dificiles por lo anterior mencionado que los bosses y la unica manera que tienen de hacer dificil un boss es..... Si lo habeis adivinado: Metiendo millares de enemigos genericos en la misma pelea con el boss de forma que por un lado tienes que esquivar os ataques brutales del boss y esperar el momento para atacarle y por otro tienes una masa de enemigos genericos persiguiendote por el escenario y en el momento que te acorralen por el motivo que sea ya asumes que tienes que repetir otra vez TODA la pelea con el boss y aqui no vale decir "Vale estoy cansado cierro el juego y luego vuelvo a intentarlo" por que el juego es tan malo que ni siquiera han puesto un sistema de guardado por checkpoints asi que tendras que rehacer TODO el nivel nuevamente para volver a la misma situacion frustante por la que lo dejaste la primera vez.

    De mi experiencia in-game he sacado varias cosas: un dolor de dedos bestial, dolor de cabeza literalmente y terminar hasta los cojones del juego..... En Hotline la vuelta a la accion era instantanea y el juego te invitaba a volver a la accion rapidamente de nuevo para continuar en una historia inmersiva y que era buenisima pero en cambio Mother Russian Bleeds tiene una vuelta a la accion un tanto mas lenta y tediosa que te obliga a caer 1 y mil veces en el mismo pozo donde has muerto sin posibilidad de buscar otra forma de completar el nivel y que ni siquiera te premia con un historia decente que te enganche a seguir jugando y si lo sigues jugando es basicamente con el pensamiento de: "Bueno seguro que la trama ahora tiene algun giro y se vuelve interesante" y podrias seguir esperando hasta Hotline Miami 3 y moririas sin ver un giro en la historia.

    Me dejo muchas cosas en el tintero pero mi nota final es un 1 por que en el fondo la musica me gusto, por lo demas esto no es un juego es un aborto fallido y no hay creditos al final del juego si no una lista de los culpables.    … Expand

    More Russophobic crap to insult an entire country by the indie scenes, this game is the exact example why indie games should be illegal.

    Why dont you frenchman make a game set in Paris with Drugs and Protsitutes and ISIS that would be actually more reality than this game.

    I usually like this style of side scrolling beat em ups, but this one did nothing for me. It just feels too fast and weightless. It gets tiring fast with the huge amount of enemies coming at you. Having a dedicated button for grabs is needlessly complicating the genre.

    This game got a good story behind it and I loved the animations, but damn this is a pretty hard game. You need a good keyboard and deft finger movements to time a move at right time.

    Game is downright racist depiction of Russia in my opinion, the main protagonist arent even Russians but Gypsys, so you end up killing Russian people and only Russian people, strange design choice. Its mediocre too. Too sad its not banned tbh.

    Well, to be honest, the mechanics are not very fluid and at times even feel cluncky. However, the visuals are very well pronounced and give a unique vibe to the whole audio-visual experience.
    Yes, it´s very difficult to enjoy this one as a game, yet as an experience, it certainly is good.

    Bought this game legitimaly(or whatever it's written) from a legit 3rd party seller, just for some months later I get an notification from Steam saying something like this: "the developer removed my key from your library because it was an beta key or something".     Is Mother Russia Bleeds the game that is worth your money and attention? There are many pros in it - disturbing story, number of possible attacks, character selection, number of weapons, the drugs using mechanics, variety of enemies and environments, responsive controls, challenging yet not frustrating difficulty, beautiful graphics, dynamic music and realistic sounds. What are the downsides? The explicit violence and drugs using that make the game inappropriate for kids, the absence of character development and also the absence of dubbing. There is a local co-op multiplayer which for sure makes the game even more entertaining if you find the right person to play with as this is the kind of game that your kids should stay out of.

    - number of weapons
    - drugs using mechanics
    - variety of enemies and environments
    - controls
    - reasonable difficulty
    - graphics
    - music and sounds

    Cons:
    - inappropriate for kids
    - no character development

    Mother Russia Bleeds is as rough and unpleasant as life in Soviet Russia was (at least for most of the people) but it is also funny and addictive (and not because of drug usage) and the game itself does not have many cons. Although it is not the game suitable for family playing it is still a good game for fellow gaming fathers and their (adult) friends and I am therefore giving it Thumbs Up and VideoGaming Father’s index 8+ out of 10 - recommended.    … Expand

    very fun and bloody game. at the time of the super Nintendo I always wanted the game like this with violence and 2D but none of them had much blood This one made my dream come true
    The problem with the game is the controls you edit and when you re-enter all the calls are in the game default

    MRB’s most notable aspect is its nice pixel art, but I don’t think that’s enough to recommend this game, especially if you’re thinking on playing it alone. [12/2016, p.42]
