Nov 28, 2017Highly charming and relaxing, Morphite is an inoffensive game that is best played in shorter bursts and will hardly displease anyone.

Oct 11, 2017There’s a good game in Morphite, but unfortunately it’s nothing special. Steam says that it’s had three developers, yet still I keep glitching through portions of the 15 pre-built worlds, and some of the procedurally generated ones. Everything looks nice, but that doesn’t elevate it far enough given the audio and fairly boring gameplay.

Sep 20, 2017Morphite is an interesting experience. Though it borrows heavily from some of the biggest and most ambitious sci-fi games of the last few years, it presents its package in an undeniably indie wrapping and scale. This isn’t a game you’ll dump hundreds of hours into, but it’s one that you’ll enjoy for the time it does run. It’s not a game with flashy graphics or pages of codex entries, but it’s one that uses it’s unique visual style to build an interesting world that’s still worth exploring.
