Dec 21, 2019Don't be fooled by all this positive reviews, moons of madness is absolute garbage in many ways. You can always go and find out by yourself, but be ready to refund.

Nov 19, 2019While this games starts off promising, by being more than the expected walking simulator with several riddles and even some action sequences in a realistic Mars setting, it all breaks down with a bug that prevents from finishing the game. Checking out the Steam boards shows that several game breaking bugs are unfixed for almost a month...

Jan 4, 2020While the quality of MOM's visuals are notable, the dialogue, acting, world, soundtrack, animations all felt sub par for a 2019 release. I stopped playing before the first hour was up. For a game so focused on storytelling, as the player I just didn't feel any connection to what was happening.

Dec 3, 2019Pros.:
- Mars;
- The environment is nice, the gameplay flows smooth;
- not too long, not too short;
- H.P. Lovecraft mythos.
Cons.:
- not many objects to explore;
- the story is very predictable;
- not scary at all.
The game had potential. But except space and Mars landscape, I have nothing to remember. -
Nov 22, 2019Pluses: interesting plot (at first), decent graphics, do not copy invincible enemy mechanics from games like Amnesia and Outlast, have few nice puzzles to solve.
Minuses: crappy performance on decent machines, crashes at times, for some people unplayable, plot conclusion may disappoint, gameplay may get boring. -
Jan 14, 2020Unfortunately a game from the a company with the worst support ever, in my experience it can take years to get at least a decent answer without resolution. I highly discourage buying any product from them.

Mar 7, 2020This game looks pretty but unfortunately it is just a boring walking simulator with lots of button pressing and annoying puzzles.
The story is tediously boring and the horror part was just jump scares after jump scares which made this game feel like a boring movie.Voice acting was good but sadly i can't suggest this game since it is so dull -
Dec 21, 2019Madilim at marumi ang laro, huwag Bumili ng buong mga kontrol ng deremo. Itlekt bobo, bugtong para sa bobo.

May 15, 2020Looks nice, and the idea to combine Lovecraft and space exploration seemed intriguing. But the realization and all the dream sequences don't really do it many favours. Surprised to see the low rating, it has potential and fans of the genre can definitely find things to enjoy here.

Aug 17, 2020Amazing from start to finish. As a lover of The Secret World, it settles into the lore nicely and keeps that same exact tone and atmosphere. If you haven't played TSW but loved MoM's lore, give it a shot!

Jul 21, 2022The plot, the atmosphere, and the visuals are all great, too bad the developers decided to ruin it by adding crappy puzzles and awful stealth segments.
-
Mar 27, 2020At the end of the day, if you feel like getting startled and wandering around a horror atmosphere for a few hours, Moons of Madness will serve adequately. The visuals and sounds are well crafted and immersive. Just be aware that the game itself is mainly a walking simulator with a B-movie plot and some minigame puzzles mixed in.

Mar 24, 2020Moons of Madness is a welcome addition to the wider Lovecraftian catalogue, and its cosmic aspects really get to the heart of the mythos’ insanity. While there are annoying moments when the developers see fit to include some of the worst excesses of modern horror games, the quality of the writing and the atmosphere is enough to justify seeing things through to a conclusion that is as epic as it is satisfying. This is one trip to insanity that you shouldn’t pass up.

Mar 16, 2020Moons of Madness is an overall decent cosmic horror for hardcore survival horror fans.
