  • Summary: The story begins in the underground world ruled by the Puppet Master. The evil lord creates puppets, enslaves them and forces them to work in his mines. They do not realize that beyond the narrow corridors of their mines, there is a much bigger and more colorful world. One of the slavesThe story begins in the underground world ruled by the Puppet Master. The evil lord creates puppets, enslaves them and forces them to work in his mines. They do not realize that beyond the narrow corridors of their mines, there is a much bigger and more colorful world. One of the slaves named Blink, accidentally discovers that outside the mines is a place full of light, fresh air and freedom - an outside world. He decides to take matters into his own hands and escape from the mines with his friend Tula. Unfortunately, they were captured by the machine, and Tula was torn apart. Pieces of her soul have scattered through the underground world. Blink has been thrown into the prison where he awaits his doom. This is not the end of the story, it is just the beginning, which will lead to many unusual events.

    Embark on a great adventure as the little puppet. You play as Blink who manages to escape from his prison cell. This little guy's mission is to collect pieces of Tula's soul and bring her back to life. The end of the story depends on the player's decisions.    … Expand

    Great game! It has amazing graphics that are hand drawn not pixelart thats in most indie games.
    Difficulty level is quite high.

    I like indie games, that are made with passion. Today we are getting more and more crap on steam with indie games created by 'indie gameI like indie games, that are made with passion. Today we are getting more and more crap on steam with indie games created by 'indie game devs'. Lot of them are broken, cant be played, and with a lot of bugs, errors, and so on.
    Mooch is well done game. It has short story, but that is not so bad. Main focus is on your agaility and fast reactions. You have to avoid things, enemies, and so on. Graphics are very good if we are considering, that its indie game. There is a lot of levels, and about 9 bosses. So there is a lot of content to play. It took me about 6 hrs to finish the game on Normal Level. Considering other indie games, where you have only 1-3hrs of gameplay, its quite good. There is no repeatable moments in the game, so its 'one done game', but its still ok. I recommend it.    … Expand

There are a lot of stuff, enemies, bosses, and so on.

    Great little indie game with well crafted graphics and dark mood. It has good pace ald keeps player immersed all the time. Level-design is interesting and some levels are really unique - like undercover mission. Very good and intuitive controls. I liked the enemy variation, the tutorial as part of the floor. It's getting harder and harder each passed level. This game has potential for local co-op for 2 creatures mooching but there's only single player.

    Graphics and sounds: 9/10
    Gameplay: 9/10
    Flow/difficulty: 7/10

    PROs:
    + Controls are intuitive and responsive
    + Graphics and overall art style
    + Music and sounds
    + Gameplay
    + Enemy and boss variety
    + Level where you're undercover as one of the robots :)
    + Feel of immersion - i really got scared couple of times

    CONs:
    - Maybe sometimes little too difficult on normal mode
    - Tutorial doesn't tell about gamepad, despite it's fully supported

    Mooch is rather good game. It have dark climate aldo it seems simillar to Limbo. If someone like hard games this is production for him, butMooch is rather good game.
