While this is not finished yet, it looks like it was given a lot of effort. And while it has some negative points, it has a lot of good things that will make you try this game and dig into its story!

    NEGATIVES:

    About Story 1:
    1) It may take you a LOT to complete this chapter -- and it's not that long. (it's about an hour) But it might take you more, because half the time, you may be wondering ''What am I supposed to do?'' and just keep going around a place. And that breaks immersion and brings boredom.

    2) There are a few glitches and bugs here and there. I mean, it's a glitch-y world, but that might frustrate you. Thank god the game saves..

    3) Sometimes, it looks repetitive. You have to do some things over and over, or some new tasks make you do things that look pretty familiar. That is supposed to lengthen the game OR bring challenge, but it just frustrates you. Unless that includes some cool music or a scary monster. He.

    About Story 2:
    1) It's more like a demo, to be honest. The 1st one is big and fun to play, but this one is short (about 20 minutes).

    2) Not that scary like the 1st one. The first one had like 15 jumpscares. But the last minutes of Story 2 gives you satisfaction.

    3) No consequences on the decision from Story 1 (Go with the developer or with the monster?)

    POSITIVE:
    1) The atmosphere is great. While playing the game, you really feel encased. You feel like 'It' is there with you. And these creepy messages don't help. It's just so well made on that field.

    2) The feeling of being trapped, makes your skin crawl. Makes you scared. After all, it's a scary game. Jeliliam tried making ''Somber'', a scary game that got criticized for not being creepy and just trying to be. So this game was NEVER published. And he promised to be back with a scary and better game. I can tell he succeded in doing that. Same goes with the jumpscares. They look random or weird, but they are scary and they fit so well in this world and its story.

    3) It's an interesting idea. Seems original, because I haven't seen a scary game in a glitch-y-ish world trying to get out.

    4) The sounds of this game makes the environment unsettling. Looks like the sounds in Bendy And The Ink Machine. And these sounds make you feel like you are in a glitch-y world.

    5) The graphics are okay. Could be improved, but as the developer says ''it is minimalistic''. I still liked them, since sometimes, SIMPLE IS THE ANSWER.

    6) It has a story which seems interesting, but still well-hidden and complicated. It makes you have a lot of questions, which I hope will be answered in Story 3.

    7) In Story 1, you have a decision. Go with IT, or with the developer? At first, it seemed like that would change the flaw of the game, but in Story 2, it didn't seem like it. I hope it will make a difference in Story 3, which is yet to come. But the addition of choices is welcome, but I hope it was better-served.

    CONCLUSION:

    STORY 1
It's definitely worth your money! It's unsettling, mysterious and creepy! There's a lot of effort put into it, but some things here and there may frustrate the players. If you put them aside, you will definitely enjoy Mono!
    (8.4/10)

    STORY 2
Good, but not great like the first one. Still, an enjoyable experience with a scary environment and story reveals, that will make you keep playing Mono.
    (7.3/10)

    DEFINITELY BUY IT! ;)
