The game is insanely gorgeous, and feels like an interesting successor to an early 2000s adventure game in terms of its visual style.
Also shows how underutilized the survival horror genre is in this space, as the focus on resource management can be relatively easy to implement, while also deepening immersion. Something I really grew to like about Mist by the end of it was the family

Something I really grew to like about Mist by the end of it was the family aspect of its story. By the end of the story the main character and the girls have become this really wholesome loving family, who are constantly in an awful situation but find genuine happiness in each other's company. I also really like how decent the protagonist is. I understand that story is not the main concern in adult games, and that's fine, but it was nice to play a very genuine, decent, non-rapey protagonists. A lot of the game are the characters discussing the limits of their consensual dom-sub relationships, and they constantly show so much care and respect for each other. I was invested in their wholesomeness by the end of the game, and rooting for their happiness. All in all, it’s a shame that Steam didn’t carry this game on their store.
