I think what makes MilMo stand out is the playfulness of the game. I do respect the more hardcore mmo rpgs out there but what MilMo does with the simple missions and gameplay is great. The game starts you of with a basic character creation section and after that drops you off to a main lobby kind of place where you get your first mission straight from the start. After a while of exploration you can choose one of two story paths to start traveling. Keep in mind you can visit every island in the game at some point in the game(Some are locked behind a level requirement). What follows is a chill row of missions given by the npcs around and collecting items and resources. There are a few bosses scattered around that you can take on with friends or other players and that is about the only thing you are going to be doing with the other players except trading or battling in a pvp arena. You can also fill your own house with stuff and visit chat and vip rooms but i did not care about it. Complain about the game is that almost every piece of equipment is bought with real money. This means you have to struggle the whole game with only 1 or 2 different weapons for example. Same thing for the cosmetics. The art style is like from a cartoon and it fits the feel of the game very well. This game is marketed for a younger audience for sure and it is not a turn off for older players who can appreciate it. Gameplay is simple as you only get one attack button and couple of power ups that you can use to achieve a collectable or a mission goal. In the end there are like 3 types of missions either collect something, kill something or go somewhere. These would get very repetitive if it would be without the different changing landscapes. You can tell most of the islands apart very easily and find fun exploring them. Very fun free game that is worth a try for everyone that likes the genre…Full Review »
