    Don't know about the fortress itstelf, but the base game received a huge update (~8GB) with the release.

    It brings updated visuals, extremely upgraded performance, fixed UI and minor changes to AI. I know that the Fortress content is included as well, but simply blocked out until I buy the key, which is low, but hey, I got actual fixes for free. At least they don't charge for them as well.

    Multiplayer is still broken, there are still issues with combat vs human player and even other old Out of Sync error message. Either opponent sees different stacks of army or different number of creatures, either combat simply refuses to continue , both players ending waiting for the other to move.

    It.s clear that at some point game brakes and things go differently for each player .     It is also clear that these guys are simply NOT capable of making this game work. Too bad that is an interesting approach regarding simturns now. But all the play it.s like a game of luck, you.re either lucky to finish a small map, or extremely lucky to finish a bigger one. This is why we cannot waste hours of play to find out that the game brakes.

    Besides all the multiplayer issues, game is poorly designed, poorly optimized, it gets glitchy and laggy the longer you play and only ruins the fun in playing heroes.

    Shame on Ubisoft and Limbic for taking us money and giving us hope.    … Expand

    Multiplayer is still broken and unplayable. Single player is boring with not even score board so no reason to play maps without any score or achievements. Campaings are scripted, hero levels capped and usually pretty hard in annoiyng way like win in some time.

    There is huge imbalance in gameplay. Magic is too strong, meele units are uselless becouse creeps are too strong even on normal.    Multiplayer is still broken and unplayable. Single player is boring with not even score board so no reason to play maps without any score or achievements. Campaings are scripted, hero levels capped and usually pretty hard in annoiyng way like win in some time.

There is no dynasty or anything to keep me interested in single player. Elite units are mostly uselless there is no point to have 10 vampires which grow really slowly if elite neutrals are in stacks of hundreds.

    There are still bugs on maps and other, looks like one person only is working on game and can't fix all alone even in a year.

    Ubisoft should shame, Duel of champions is closed allready. Looks like they care only about money so they are trying to only milk from this expansion and put the game into maintance mod without any future pathes. I can't still believe they are not able to fix multiplayer in the bloody year of time !!!

    Without critical multiplayer bugs and more content to singleplayer and balance of everything score could be 9/10.    … Expand

    it fixed some of the problems with the game and the new town is really nice! the music is just ugh, so good, but what confuses me is why are there hamsters-?
