    MicroVolts is a third person shooter that looks trivial and a bit derivative, especially in front of Valve's Team Fortress 2, that cannot compete with a free-to-play market full of new and much interesting alternatives.

    Spent more than 1000 hours IN GAME ACTUALLY PLAYING, but still I can't recommend this.

    Worst community ever seen ( toxic, stupid, unfriendly, hard to find any good friends.. )
    Laggy servers ( they even shut down lost of servers )
    Bad anti-cheat programm ( just after patches you can barely see any hackers around.. but it'll take only one day till their cheat programm is updated )
    Heavily based on Pay-2-Win
    Producers don't listen to their community
    Event-Updates come rarely ( It's still Christmas there ( 04.04.2016 today ) )
    Updates are mostly just more weapons or parts for people with RT ( Rocket Tokens, the buy-able currency)
    Scammers everywhere..
    Very unstable ( it just crashes if you click your mouse during a loading screen.. also often just for no reason. )

    I actually loved playing this game.. I sometimes still play it, but it's not the same as it was before. We just call it the "Surge-Update".
    I didn't start playing this during the Beta, but I played it when it was known to be good.
    More than 500 Euros have I spent already for in-game currency... I regret this everyday.    … Full Review »

    It's looks like fun, and it is at early levels. However it is basically bad after that point. It becomes very much pay to win. Basically theIt's looks like fun, and it is at early levels. Basically the in game mechanic is Micro points that are won by doing decently in matches, however here's a problem... they added this repair feature to the game which pretty much makes it impossible to progress and actually make these points or get better guns unless you spring REAL cash for the advantage of that they provide. Similarly other players basically get guns that DOUBLE your damage as time goes along, more health, ext for playing longer as well. Because of the absence of any form of fair matchmaking feature it basically devolves into 2 things.

    players who have been playing LONGER (not better) will always rofl stomp you. players who have pitch real cash will rofl stop you, no matter how horrible they are.

    meaning that you will NEVER get ahead unless you give the company money. I would say bluntly that if your the type to spring money on a game, go ahead and play it. But if your looking for a fair, fun experience, look elsewhere. The only GOOD thing I have to say about this game is the art and style are very fun it's sad that they had to ruin it so hard in this fashion as this game has the potential to be great it it treated it's non-paying audiance a tad better.    … Full Review »

    Microvolts is a free to play PC game. Yes its another shooter, though in third person, so i guess its like a version of Team Fortress 2 (TF2)Microvolts is a free to play PC game. Yes its another shooter, though in third person, so i guess its like a version of Team Fortress 2 (TF2) , TF2 being better though, obviously. Anyway, I love this game, especially since my TF2 isnt working so I find it an alternative. Its really fun to play, always users so u never get bored. I like most of the game modes. I like the variety of weapons and the characters (Naomi and CHIP). A few things need fixing but, Im just LOVING this game... (EpicPillow is one of my names)… Full Review »
