    A good quality game. Everything is within the genre. For me, the main advantage is the atmosphere.
    The downside is the very low difficulty, despite the fact that I chose the maximum with a limited interface. Primitive plot.

    Missões fora da trama principais são muito boas, sendo a minha preferida a do museu onde você tem que encontrar itens enquanto sobrevive ao próprio ambiente.

    I dont like FPS, but this game catch me. This game have a wonderful enviroment and the details make it very imersive. The graphic is ok for the release year, but I think this is a well done game. Congrats for the development team.

    Well, when you're actually playing the game it is really fun. Graphics look cool. Story is really good. Gameplay is pretty nice.
    This was based on a novel but I was hoping to play more than read. I can't give it a thumbs down because it is really fun when you are actually playing. You can't skip the cut scenes either, feel like im wasting so much time that I just start up a different game    Well, when you're actually playing the game it is really fun. Graphics look cool.     Неплохой коридорный шутан, особо сказать нечего но постапокалиптический мир выживающий в метро звучит пугающе правдоподобно. Игра явно более ориентирована на СНГ комьюнити.

    Fixed the bad parts in the first metro game. More fluid gameplay. Better environmental design. Different settlements. Various weapons and upgrades. Interact with more npc. Better storytelling. Some catchy characters. Enjoyable combat mechanics. Not bad boss fights. Was very good.

    I think this is the best part of the series. The best plot, the best locations and a perfectly sustained pace. Thanks to this, the game does not get boring at all, unlike the first part.

    Metro: Last Light — превосходная игра. Целостная, живая и чертовски увлекательная. Проходя лицензионную копию, не жалеешь ни об одном потраченном рубле. А те, кто играет в пиратскую версию, после титров должны немедленно посыпать голову пеплом и бежать затариваться лицензией))))))) Чтобы 4A Games нормально заработали и через пару-тройку лет порадовали нас еще одним «Метро». Потому чтоMetro: Last Light — превосходная игра. Целостная, живая и чертовски увлекательная. Проходя лицензионную копию, не жалеешь ни об одном потраченном рубле. А те, кто играет в пиратскую версию, после титров должны немедленно посыпать голову пеплом и бежать затариваться лицензией))))))) Чтобы 4A Games нормально заработали и через пару-тройку лет порадовали нас еще одним «Метро».     A way better sequel that made people know Metro and got their attention, the underground society and it’s conflicts, the characters and soundtrack, the bossfights and ending, this game is super you can tell just from it’s intro

    Одна из самых Атмосферных игр. Путешествуя по этому миру ты действительно чувствуешь безысходность этого мира, ни одна из пост-апокалиптичных игр не передаёт такой атмосферы.

    Очень приятная с графической части игра, разработчики оставили без изменений основные механики. Но разработчики поработали над оптимизацией, и игра идёт на более слабом железе чем metro2033.

    This game was a one of those rare occasions where I enjoyed 50% of it's content and felt annoyed by the other 50.Let's start with the gameplay , the shooting and stealth mechanics were very nicely done and sometime's you can find yourself in situations wondering how the **** did that commie see me but believe me you most likely screwed up. The shooting felt good and killing someone byThis game was a one of those rare occasions where I enjoyed 50% of it's content and felt annoyed by the other 50.Let's start with the gameplay , the shooting and stealth mechanics were very nicely done and sometime's you can find yourself in situations wondering how the **** did that commie see me but believe me you most likely screwed up. The shooting felt good and killing someone by throwing a knife was always satisfying , unfortunately the game is almost entirely made up of stealth elements and after awhile it get's incredibly boring to wait for the same patterns of enemies to pass you so that you can advance the level without wasting your entire ammo to kill some bots.Resource Management is also the name of the game and it tries incredibly hard to force you to play only with stealth since ammo and supplies come in short and if you ain't got the bullets then you are pretty much ****ed when you get creature encounters.This game is incredibly buggy. I had to reload old save files in a lot of occasions due to the fact that an event glitched or something in the game broke which stopped my advancement.
    Visually the game is nothing special , I know people praise the environments in Metro but for me most of them were incredibly weak and samey, even if you enter a different city it still looks like every other miserable city in the entire game , oh sure you can add some boats and canals and make it look like Venice but sorry it's still the same looking **** as the previous ones with nothing to do in them except you know watch a strip tease and waste your time.This game really loves wasting your time with it mostly being played out in cut scenes , walking and talking and 90% just opening doors, yes doors what am I even playing Spookie's Jumpscare Mansion of 1000 doors?.I do admit that there were some really cool ****ing chapters where the environments really looked good and when playing them felt great. Going outside in the city was also a thrill since it was always a nice change of scenery even if all the ruins and destroyed buildings still looked copy pasted a thousand times.The story is nothing special to write about , it was predictable and I only enjoyed the nice moments with tumor baby it was also kinda ****ing recycled from the previous game which is a minus from me. The English Voice Acting was ****ing hilarious , like damn it was so bad and sounded so cheesy most of the times that even when there were serious scenes I couldn't stop laughing my ass off, I bet that the Russian VA was a thousand times better but I couldn't find the option to turn it On.The Music and Sound was great , you could identify enemies footsteps and location due to the great sound design.
    I am also disappointed in the creature variety, you get constantly thrown the same 5 looking ugly ass crack addicted creatures with the occasional Alpha Crack mini bosses which were nothing special and were just put there to waste your resources. Overall this game was an Ok waste of time 6/10    … Expand

    You can easily lose yourself there playing Metro, and you might as well lose your friends and relatives for that period of time... And thats okay it is the experience we've been waiting for since 2033 and the sequel is definitely worth it.

    I personally like this part of the franchise. Improved mechanics (especially stealth), changed interface, better graphics. The story and atmosphere is as superb as in the first Metro game.

    Story: well i was actually somewhat disappointed by the story of last light the first game was a struggle for survival then at the end asks you a moral question of is this really right. metro last light has morality but often times it's forgone with the intention of action. and thats fine its an fps game but i can't help but feel the morality of the first game elevated the story. how ever it is still good , interacting with the child dark one was a joy he was an interesting character , being the last known of his species , a species you yourself wiped out as he learns what you are he learns who you are as well , making comments on your actions " oh he was a bad man i see why you killed him" or when you spare your friend pavel who happens to be part of a different faction that is trying to kill you , you know pavel isn't a bad guy but his loyalty makes him do bad things. huh i guess this game is still pretty moral but less so than the first one.

    World building: while the first game was an introduction to the world , last light serves as an exploration of its human element and factions that were touched on in the first game , the reds ( the communists) , the reich (nazis) and the brotherhood ( who you are apart of which seems to have the civilians in mind) each faction having their own agenda , the reds want total control to bring rise back to mother russia being just as corrupt as communists become in the name of equality , the reich will execute any one even slightly irradiated or not of perfect human specimen like the real nazis and the brotherhood seems to be trying to keep as many people alive till the day they can return to the surface. these factions feel more like kingdoms of a dying world fighting in a wars that the old civilization settled years ago.
    Worldbuilding 9/10

    Graphics: the game graphicly doesn't look much better than 2033 but it is still an improvement, animations are less stiff , guns recoil with UMPH and dont feel static , environments are bigger and filled more , technically the games look the same , textures and models feel samey but there is more attention to detail . landscapes are shown off better and aren't all irradiated cityscapes but fields and countryside as well all be it still irradiated. there is a more vibrant colour palette , colours are used not everything feels muted and bleak although id say in 2033's case that was a positive

    gameplay: GUNS FEEL GOOD well not great but good , animals and people died when i shot them , stealth is improved its a viable option not just a way to thin out the bulk of the enemy before the real gun fight breaks out , my problem with the stealth is it's actually too forgiving the game lacks a lot of the intensity of 2033 but if intensity is the only thing this game sacrifice then it still did a good job. enemy types differ and all have strategies to them , humans aim for the head , wolves also the head but you can sneak past them in certain situations but if they howl they will come after you , shrimp have hard armour on the outside sos hoot their underbelly because its soft or the spider creatures that burn when you shine a flashlight on them. there is a lot of variety to enemies but also add s abit of world building to it, exploration is done better , not much better as it is still a very linier game also you have to wipe your gas mask when its dirty great little detail

    Sound design: much better , guns mostly sound the same except for the new guns to the game BUT the voice acting improved greatly , its still not masterful like in a call of duty game or the witcher but they feel like people not with emotion , not that they didn't feel like people before but just more so now , ambient noises mae the world feel alive. the music feels more like it would be at home in call of duty not metro but that's a minor gripe especially considering the time when this game came out, and again the music changes to what is happening not to where you are witch is something doom 2016 did ( a little better mind you but metro did it years before)

    Let's start with the advantages. It's atmosphere. It's the greatest thing about the game. You feel the tension and you worry as if Artyom is you. By making Artyom mute, you immerse into this world even more. Monsters are terrifying. Worst things in this game hands down are melee combat and sfx. Buy this game, you won't be regretting this, I am very sure of it.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Heads up - this is, in my opinion, the worst of the three Metro games. It is still good, don't get me wrong, but I was eager to be done with it.

    Good parts:
    - The atmosphere of Moscow Metro is once again superbly presented
    - The gameplay is solid with more guns and mods than in the original + intuitive stealth parts
    - The characters are alive and memorable
    - The story starts out strong and engaging (but we'll get to that later)
    - There's a part where you can keep giving a hooker 5 bullets for her to dance **** until you run out if money (which is also a bad part btw, look below)

    Bad parts:
    - Story. Goddammit I hate the last third of a game. The story starts out strong with you entagled in the Metro politics with spies, betrayals, devilish schemes. You want to see it play out, you want to warn your friends, to prevent the plans, to outsmart the schemers - after all, why else would the game make you eavesdrop all their plans? But no, says the game, **** you says the game. Remember the Dar Ones you killed in the first game? Turns out 1 survived and you go after him. Then somehow a magic river appears in the Moscow Metro and flushes you to him - quite enough to take you out of the grim setting. But when you catch him is when **** hits the fan. Turns out, Artyom is a chosen one because the Dark One saved him when he was a kid (along with 2 other kids, but they don't count I gues???) which makes little sense and also continues this weird story of us feeling bad for killing the creatures that were straight-up massacaring people of the Metro??? Then when you continue your travel with this last Dark One you are presented with A HUGE AMOUNT of cringe-worthy kid-like dialogue from him (he's a kid, so he notes everything for the first time and it is written as poorly as if a real 4-year old was in charge of the script). He is utterly useless in combat and takes you out of the story completely. I was running through the last parts of the game just so I would not have to listen to this little **** It is annoying, it is pointless and it completely and 100% does not feel like a part of Metro universe. The writer of the books was in charge of the script for the game, and the books are not bad but GOD DAMN this part of the game is WACK AS HELL. Swear to god, if it was not for this it would be a 8/10 game for me at least.
    - The main plot device is that you are either being knocked out (I swear like 15 of 30 chapters end like this, our main badass hero CANNOT stop going unconscious for the life of him) or rescued by some ex-machina friend. Even in the good ending. This feels extremely unearned and overall makes you pointless as a protagonist, super odd that the writer of the books made it this way. Alarming, yo be honest.

    Metro Last Light is a very interesting game. The dive story is so strong that you just want to close the dark room and play until dawn. Excellent and atmospheric apocalypse with a piece of fiction, what could be better? Cool sound, cool graphics, and most importantly cool optimization. After completing half the game, you immerse yourself in the main character. Very interesting game.

    I loved Metro 2033. Metro Last Light seemed a bit less exciting. The story just falls flat in comparison. Still, the atmosphere in the metros was great and memorable, and I liked it.

    After 2033, I was left with optimistic feeling for the sequel, it didn't disappoint. With almost 10 hours of gameplay, that never feel empty or rushed, you will be on a trilling ride.
    Artyom continues his adventure, joined by old and some new friends. Again we will be leaved in the metro fighting against humans and un humans alike, with good arsenal of weapons that can be customizable to certain extent. The gameplay is still similar to 2033, this time however stealth kills and the stealth itself, I think is polished here. True it sounds and looks retarded when you see just how blind enemies are, when there's no light, I tried with different difficulties, but I didn't find any difference, and still Metro LL was never design as all around stealth shooter, but rather as FPS where you have choices, and that's something I always value in a game.
    My recommendation is to stick to the revolver if you are low on military bullets. Coupled with silencer, and scope and this thing is pocket sniper rifle. Really handy, especially when you want to get rid of hard to reach light resources.
    Again, this game is immersion, pure immersion. So full, reach and detailed. Again you will be amazed how every small city feels alive, populated by real human beings with real problems. Things to do, and interact with, both humans and subjects will make you feel part of a breathing world, done so good, that you can even sense their strong need for survival, their fears, their pain. All bundled with interesting story, and FINALLY, a good character development, rather then plot tools, and you will know that, when you have the urge to kill bad guys.
    I will not spoil the story but I will tell you this:
    - watch your mask, when you are out there, keep the filters count, this time depending on the filters you will know how much time you have
    - everything on the surface is hostile, but some of the wild "animals" actually are not enemies, by the law of this new nature. You can find it handy at some times and use it as leverage, but don't get too comfortable with it.
    - darkness is your friend, light is your enemy. But sometimes it's the opposite.
    - there are two endings, one is bad for you, and the second good for all. If you know what I mean, check google for guide. It's not easy, but offers a good challenge.
    - exploration is rewarded... If you have the balls that is...
    - Metro LL is not Call of Duty, Battlefield or Fallout. It is in a league of it's own or rather in the league of the actually interesting FPS, like Half Life.
    - no multiplayer in that manner too. Only immersive, story driven game.

    I love that game, a worthy sequel. I too feel aggravated by this ranger pack, I hate DLC cheap exploits more then ever, and I hope there isn't more on the way.
    Definitely a must buy for the Metro and FPS fans alike.

    A decent game, but the pitiful ending ruined the experience as a whole. The last level felt like an afterthought, the previous 6 levels were building up to something and the last level just brushed it aside and poorly explained it in the closing cutscene.

Absolutny hit i pozycja obowiązkowa dla każdego gracza. Cóż więcej mogę dodać. Oby przyszłe gry z serii S.T.A.L.K.E.R. były chociaż w części tak dobre jak Metro: Last Light…

    I just finished it and I loved it, fantastic atmosphere, stunning visuals, interesting story and tight gameplay. If you enjoy linear, story driven FPS campaigns you will love Last Light, and it's currently on sale for only £3.74 so how can you say no? Just a really well made game from top to bottom.

    The whole idea from Glukhovsky (Book-Writer) to set the setting in the russian metro is simply amazing and unique.

    Aside from the story, the 4A Engine does an awesome job delivering sharp textures, nice details and good effects. With this engine, the atmosphere in this game is outstanding and there is no game where you get a better feeling being in an apocalyptic world, even fallout looks bad in comparison with the destroyed moscow. It has a very unique feeling, being in the wasteland, where rain and dirt splashes on your gas mask, where creatures attack you, which may scratch your gas mask and you need to find a new one.
    The sound is outstanding, really outstanding.
    The facial-animations aren't that good, very stiff and do not represent the possibilities of the engine, also some characters are poorly animated 9/10

    The world itself was very well designed. The metro-stations are well-made, you can OPTIONALLY (!) listen to stories from random people, you can buy ammo, guns or participate at some challenges.
    Some stories are exciting, but also sad and it is awesome how you just want to listen to the stories all day. Most of the stations are different, one is build up like the city venedig, many are just some cabins and some are just somewhere in the tunnels with limited resources.
    But the world has a little problem. Metro: Last Light is very linear. It is comprehensible, because metro is made out of tunnels, which are linear, but it would be refreshing if you can walk through the world. Nevertheless, the linear levels are very detailed. 9.5/10

    The gameplay depends on the difficulty you are playing on, in my point of view. It improves the stealth of metro 2033 and has more action then its predecessor.
    I recommend playing on ranger mode, it gives you the best feeling, a hard AI (but has a very limited FOV) and you need to be thrifty with your ammo and health-injections.
    The guns are amazing, have a very nice handling, sounds and design.
    The game also has some harsh boss-fights, which are very intense, but still feeling a bit cheap. Bring up more variation on the movement-set! 8.5/10

    Amazing game and a great sequel of the first game which is one of my favorite games of all times. Amazing atmosphere like always and great story. Last Light brings more action than survival to the game but still does it in a satisfying way.

    Great game but unfortunately let down by a too tough economy making bullets too expensive and selling an old gun to by a new one was also too expensive. Half the time didn't have enough ammo. The stealth could have used a bit of work as well.

    The atmosphere saves this game. Still a few minor adjustments and it could have been so much better.

It might seem cosmetic, but we're here close to FallOut serie.

    I also enjoyed the recreation of a devastated city (outdoor and underground) that is the trademark of the serie. One minor complain could be that the player is most of the time "on rails" (no pun intended considering the title) and exploration is somewhat limited to small branches, that leads to better weapons or more resources like ammunition or filters (ah ! filters ! talking about adding pressure !). I'd love to have more agency in that regard, but maybe that would have been detrimental to the story.    … Expand

    Ok, so here's how you play it. Have a good rest, eat well, buy the game and shut yourself in a dark room with your gaming rig and some extra food. You can easily lose yourself there playing Metro, and you might as well lose your friends and relatives for that period of time... And thats okay it is the experience we've been waiting for since 2033 and the sequel is definitely worth it.

    I would not say going for stealthy gameplay is rewarding enough.
    It is definitely worth playing just for the exploring the environment and being part of the story, however I wouldn't play it for the FPS experience.

    I have to admit, this is one of the games which just has that feel, the captivating atmosphere which keeps you hooked to it, the tension during some of the most intense moments. (combined with music that is well produced and perfectly matches the pace of the gameplay)
    This was the some of the best 8 hours my rig gave me. This game has the fast paced and gripping environment of Metro:    I have to admit, this is one of the games which just has that feel, the captivating atmosphere which keeps you hooked to it, the tension during some of the most intense moments. (combined with music that is well produced and perfectly matches the pace of the gameplay)
    This was the some of the best 8 hours my rig gave me. This game has the fast paced and gripping environment of Metro: 2033, and also improves on various aspects. It focuses on every aspect and makes you scavenge for supplies, without which, survival is impossible, which makes it all the more immersive. Some of the chapters are really, really terrifying and if you've got some good headphones to go along with your PC, it will make your experience all the more.
    A must buy, definitely.

Linear story line combined with little freedom on Maps really wash away the Detail and aura the game gives off. Unfortunate. Also, you are instructed what to do, and how to do it through out the entire game. I would like to explore for myself more. Aside from that, Metro Last Light is a very solid game that improves on almost every aspect of the former Metro 2033. For one, the visuals are stunning and you can't help but take a moment to take in the bleak, yet oddly beautiful landscapes. All the little survival mechanics such as wiping your gas mask reallyStealth is a bit on the easy side and draws away from the experience a little. Aside from that, Metro Last Light is a very solid game that improves on almost every aspect of the former Metro 2033. For one, the visuals are stunning and you can't help but take a moment to take in the bleak, yet oddly beautiful landscapes. All the little survival mechanics such as wiping your gas mask really aid in building immersion and constructing a convincing sense of realism. Ammunition is fairly abundant though, and the prevalence of high tech gun modifications does somewhat detract from the whole survival vibe introduced in the first game. Lastly, I would've appreciated the option to disable/enable HUD for Ranger modes.

    Didn't like this installment very much ,,, not fan of the story since the previous game , and this game didn't make it any better ,,, same shallow characters and voice acting , Same FPS game play , Same Graphics "now they look very outdated" ,,, the positive thing is the environment , i felt it's more of a benchmark game , and in few months you'll forget about it

    Haven't played the sequel but enjoyed this game sooo much. Plot was amazing, it was like a freaking movie! Gameplay was very smooth and the graphics were great. Best game I've ever played.

    The graphics in this game could not have been better, highly detailed levels, great textures and animation for character movement, fire, smoke and water. The English voice acting was suburb with genuine Russian accents adding to character believability. The music was good and appropriate to the game. Well done developers!

    The story line was good but not great. Without giving away spoilers, the whole premise for the post-apoplectic scenario just wasn't totally convincing, nor were the paranormal elements in scenes with Khan and Artyom while chasing after the little Dark One. (The player is Artyom BTW.) The animosity between the various factions seemed contrived. Well the game needed enemies after all. The relationship between Anna and Artyom should have been expanded. Less Khan and more Anna would have helped me suffer through the "Boss" encounters.

    The game is very linear with very little variability allowed in playing each level. Since the player is really the main character in a theatrical story, and since the story is rigid, it makes for very boring replays of the game. The only reason I chose to replay was to try for a harder game setting or to try for the alternate ending. The alternate ending was a big let down.

    This is a difficult game to play. I'm just a casual player so the gameplay with some "boss" encounters was difficult at best, even on the easiest settings. I can't imagine anyone getting through on the most difficult ranger settings, I didn't get far before frustration set in.

    Metro: Last Light suffers from the following issues:
    1. No save capability.
    2. No option to skip or truncate cut scenes.
    3. Unfulfilling ending. (Either ending.)
    4. Replay boredom as the player just follows a linear path dictated by the storyline.
    5. Endless introduction screens and animations without any way to speed it up.

    Otherwise, the game is well worth playing but not at full price.    … Expand

    Metro Last Light improves on several of the originals shortcomings but also has a few of its own. Mainly the artificial intelligence needs lots of work otherwise Metro Last Light with its hybrid of quality action and engaging storytelling would maybe have been one of the best games of the year.

    I do not recommend this to arachnophobiacs and story-lovers. Nonetheless, the game's atmosphere is so thick you are going to be just blown away. Furthermore, the game has outstanding battles. [Issue#231]
