Oct 2, 2013Too bad a good game was ruined by the lack of ammo and filters.Sorry metro but I am not that guy who redo the whole chapter after almost completing it ,due to silly things like the lack of ammo and filters.I have completed about 65% of the game,it is about 7/10 until I reached chapters with the problem I described above. This why I deleted it and gave it only 5/10

Sep 26, 2013Just when the I thought the graphics of Metro: 2033 was insane; Metro: Last Light does one better. Don't be fooled by the people who complain they can't get 60+ FPS with max settings. The developers have really pushed the graphics to next generation and it shows. The AI is vastly improved (still room for improvement) and the compelling story of the game continues. This game is a must have.
-
Sep 23, 2013A phenomenal game the vastly improves on many of the flaws from the last game. The graphics are some of the best I've ever seen and the atmosphere is the best post-apocalyptic atmosphere ever. The story is also amazing. An excellent game.

Sep 18, 2013Great game, great sequel to Metro 2033, although it does not quite live up to it's predecessor, still better then Bioshock Infinite.
If you are into story heavy FPS, get it BUT 1st play Metro 2033 or it will get confusing with references to the past game. -

-
Sep 17, 2013A vast improvement over Metro 2033. Runs great, perfect gun play, full controller support, improved gameplay, more realistic facial expressions, and naked boobies. The game is not perfect, but it's damn close.

Sep 12, 2013It is a long time since a played a shooter this tight, this beautiful, this deep, this engaging, this immersive and this atmospheric. If you like playing games get it now, if you like shooters get it yesterday.

Sep 10, 2013YOU MUST GET THIS GAME.IT IS A MUST. For the year of 2013 it is by far the BEST GOOD-LOOKING,STORY TELLING, POST-APOCALYPTIC GAME. YOU MUUST GET IT. You will not regret your decision~
-
Sep 10, 2013"4A Games and Deep Silver has pushed the boundaries of a modern survival horror shooter. Highly detailed story telling and engine that pushes most advanced GPUs to its limits, highly recommended to those who wish to seek an adventure through the claustrophobic and dramatic tunnels of Metro." -the-epikninja
-
Sep 8, 2013a few minor dislikes: hit detection is distracting and should be an option, very linear and almost on the rails, enemies are blind and death, paying for difficulty levels wtf. but i have given a 8 as it could of been amazing. imagine stalker with these graphics.

Sep 3, 2013Metro Last light is atmospheric, dark and keeps you in suspense. It's also a improvement from Metro 2033 which was unpolished and sometimes frustrating. Practically every aspect is an improvement from it's predecessor.
The AI is smarter and stealth isn't as frustrating (melee kills are quiet, same for silenced weapons). -

Aug 27, 2013Pretty awesome game for the gameplay but the story elements will leave you feeling disappointed. If you aren't a story guy but you enjoy a good shooter, then this is definitely a good pickup for you.

Aug 22, 2013Great game, one of the few times I think I actually like a sequel better than the original. Even some of the DLC has some good play time to it, and they kept Ranger mode in.

Aug 16, 2013The game is technically as close to perfection as Stalker was. But the russophobic details that go through the entire game are just killing all the fun. Bad example set.

Aug 14, 2013Absolutely Stunning, Story was awsome, hidden good endig achieved and the graphic and gameplay. I have no words to describe how awsome is this game but i'll remember it for very long time. Best game of 2013 (i was thinking about Bishock Infinite but this game is more atmospheric and mature)

Aug 12, 2013I have to say, i was in tears when i finished the Single Player campaign. Graphics? Superb. Gameplay? Addicting. Atmosphere? Survival-horror in the best of the genre, breathtaking. But the storyline brings you to somewhere that you keep feeling, after playing, that if they release the sequel just two or three months later Metro Last Light, it would still be perfect! Masterpiece.
-
Aug 6, 2013Awesome. The gameplay is fun, The visuals are amazing and beautiful, The story is pretty good. However the English voice cringe worthy and I recommend Playing it in Russian. Also the immersion is amazing, It sucks you into the game. Definitely worth buying.
-
Aug 5, 2013Great atmosphere and good story. Story is linear but better than most movies in the cinema nowadays.
Time to play is relatively short, did it in 25 hours. So I can fully recommend this game but you have to decide if the short time to play is worth the current price. -
Aug 4, 2013Besides some "western" touches, 4A Games delivers a very special and almost flawless game which proves that Eastern European development scene is here to stay.
-
Aug 4, 2013-1 point for console port interface (and controls) on pc.
-2 points for unskippable intro (and ad) that is extra long: do these people know I paid $50 for this?
Apart from that it's fine but nothing special. Not even new weapons compared to 2033. -

Aug 2, 2013This game is fantastic, i love the game play and story line. everything about this game is just survival and it plays its part very well. all the guns and different ways you can customize them. 10/10 no doubt

Aug 1, 2013I was a bit disapointed when I first started the game. The ranger DLC for 5$ when they said this is the way the game should played. It`s kind of aweful that you always have a follower who talks to you for the most parts. The boss fights, not bad but also not very good. Is it just me ore do the guards in the sneak parts need glasses But it is still better than CoD and all clones of Cod.
-
Jul 31, 2013Metro: Last Light is an excellent example how to provide a gripping well paced narrative, an above average shooting and stealth gameplay experiance, placed in gritty yet pretty enviroment. Does the game have its fair share of mistakes and misgivings? Yes, but for a game that had half the budget that most AAA games, this is a game nobody should pass on.
-
Jul 31, 2013A great game with epic music and end. A great Story based (not like!) the books which is much better than Metro 2033 in my opinion. Have fun with this game, especially if you play with a Gamepad, a Headset and in the dark!
-
Jul 30, 2013Ahh Metro last light I read the books played the games and now we have the latest installment in the series its an inovative game with ideas and tricks that for the most part pull off With slick graphics and gameplay and cool monsters this game rarely fails but with texture pop ins and bugs this usually takes you out of this amazing experience

Jul 26, 2013The game should have a better support with AMD vedio cards.
I have bought this game in a preorder and I stilll cant play it normally' my computer should play this game on HIGH smooth but becuase they didnt support AMD card so good I cant enjoy playing this game.
Hope they will make an update in the future that will solve all the bugs they have with AMD vedio cards. -

Jul 21, 2013Atmosphere is brilliant, music too, the level design and so the graphics are simply amazing, unless you stand next to some points and watch it too much time.. (yes I like to explore and watch everything in a game!).
I would have give 10, but because of the I.A and because of the no-liberty, I gave a 9.
As well as the Ranger Mode who need to be payed.. -

Jul 19, 2013This is one of those rare cases of the sequel. Everything is a little bit better and it adds up to an instant classic.
The 1st one had it's repetitive moments but the sequel is more immersive and I couldn't put it down, had to keep playing to complete. Liked the 1st one? You will love the 2nd. -

Jul 16, 2013A both beautiful and intense game, an amazing experience. Though, if you are looking for THEE GREATEST ACTION SHOOTER POWPOWOWWow, you will probably be disappointed. Gameplay is average, its the atmosphere of the game that absorbs you. Take time to snoop around and explore what you can. Loved the journey

Jul 14, 2013I liked the original this is some innovation but the silent main character except in loading screens some things that just didn't make sense and £6.99 for the proper experience NO
-
Jul 12, 2013Even better than the first game. It also has better OST and voice acting this time. Absolutely amazing. Buy this game. I personally liked the bad ending more.

Jul 4, 2013Want to Pay extra for standard game features? No thanks, I will wait till its 5$ like Metro 2033. That game was great. If you like 2033, you will like this game.
-
Jul 3, 2013To scripted.
Feels more like watching a movie then playing a game sometimes.
Few choices to impact anything.
No character development.
Few weapon choices.
OK weapon customization.
Looks good.
Combat feels good.
To short, 15 hours to complete on normal.
Intro/game startup way to long, forced, cant skip.
Could and should have been so much more. -
Jul 2, 2013Metro: Last Light Image
Not the best game out there (Especially the SUPPORT CHARACTERS), the combat, stealth, and the game mechanics work good, but the sound effects can be generic at some times. The are especially good though :D -

Jul 1, 2013I played many games in my life, but this game wow, the story is so fantastic, it's like a good book, you just never want to stop playing it. For me it's much better than BioshockInf or Tomb Raider, and i love those games too.
So for me, Metro: Last Light is the best shooter i've ever played in my life!!! -

Jun 26, 2013Last light is a great sequel to metro 2033 and fixes a lot of the issues that previous title had like stealth and combat, the graphics are stunning if you can run them, however its not that long with no multilayer/ co-op. hence an 8 instead of a 10 hopefully dlc will fix this but that's more money to spend on an already costly game.
-
Jun 25, 2013Very bad game((. Graphics, animations, sounds, story just awful. It should costs 12 dollars max. It's so boring Ukrainian rubbish. 20 33 was much better than this
-
Jun 25, 2013apparent complete regression compared to the Metro 2033. Simplified game has become uninteresting, more like the trendy western game. The graphics are not changed, the lighting from battlefield 3, the machine regina from rage, the gameplay from COD. Bad optimized for my radeon 7770.
-
Jun 23, 2013This is not a bad game, but i do not think this is more than mediocre game. This game got several issues like dump AI, some pretty bad bugs and i did not liked the story.+ DLC difficulty mode is not acceptable. Metro 2033 was a bit better game in mine opinion.
-
Jun 22, 2013I thought it was a good story with a very beautiful game. The graphics and beauty of the game helps it a lot, but over all it is a well made game and I do not see anything wrong with it. Few glitches here and there but all games have glitches. I feel it deserves a higher mark than 82 metacritic...

Jun 20, 2013Metro 2033 was an extremely underrated game and to complete the legacy Metro: last light is from the amazing atmospheric gameplay to the jaw dropping graphics this game deserves a 10/10 on every aspect
but due to the fact that they added preorder DLC giving it a 10/10 would be wrong overall this is a must buy for anyone who has the rig to handle it thank you for reading this take crare -

Jun 17, 2013The star of the show is the atmosphere. Everyone has said it, but it's true. The claustrophobic metro, and the breathtaking atmosphere scream detail and beauty. The gun mechanics are also pretty good. The story and characters could be way better, but the production values are enough to make it a good adventure.
-
Jun 15, 2013Excellent and smooth graphics even on much higher details than recommended .
I don't remember any serious bugs, and it was fun.
Quite better than Metro 2033 -
Jun 15, 2013Metro: Last Light is not an open world hardcore shooter. It's a linear storytelling game. If you can leave with that try it. It's just great.
Metro is the same genre as Bioshock Infinite (Exploring unique linear world mixed with a fine story and weak shooter), and for me Metro is better in this. -
Jun 15, 2013
-
Jun 15, 2013Intense atmosphere helped by amazing visuals and sharpened combat and stealth mechanics. Let down by slightly uninteresting story and an unsatisfying ending, yet doesn't take away from the great moments.

-
Sep 10, 2013Metro Last Light improves on several of the originals shortcomings but also has a few of its own. Mainly the artificial intelligence needs lots of work otherwise Metro Last Light with its hybrid of quality action and engaging storytelling would maybe have been one of the best games of the year.
-
LEVEL (Czech Republic)Jul 9, 2013I do not recommend this to arachnophobiacs and story-lovers. Nonetheless, the game's atmosphere is so thick you are going to be just blown away. Furthermore, the game has outstanding battles. [Issue#231]
