    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Easily one of the greatest FPS games ever made. There's so much to love about this game: the story, the characters, and especially the gameplay. I played this stealthily and mostly non-lethally to get the good ending and I had a blast.

    My only issues from the game were some of the mutants, a noticeable amount of bugs, the dialogue often causing me to get pulled away (not cause of the dialogue itself or the voice acting, but moreso whether the dialogue was being said too early or too late), and the final chapter notably being not that great (besides the actual ending).

    Besides those qualms, this is easily worth a play from everyone. I also highly recommend Metro 2033 and Last Light, as that will only make this playthrough even better.

    Maalesef ki Metro serisinin son oyunu. Bu oyun ilk çıktığında Metro franchise'ını yeni oynuyordum. İlk iki oyunu bitirdikten sonra Exodus'u beklemeye başladım fakat bu oyunu kaldırabilecek bir bilgisayarım yoktu. Elime biraz daha güçlü bir bilgisayar geçtiğinde hemen yumuldum bu oyuna. Beklentilerimin hepsini karşıladığını söyleyemem fakat bu oyunun her konuda yeterli, hatta bazı konulardaMaalesef ki Metro serisinin son oyunu.     İşin hikaye tarafı idare eder. Open world bir oyun yapılmaya çalışılmış ama çokta büyük olmaması klasik Metro havasını bozmamış veya reboot atılmış gibi durmuyor. Gayet yeterli olmuş.

    İşin grafik tarafı ise muazzam. Gerçekten Metro Exodus grafik ve görsellik açısından muhteşem bir iş çıkarmış. Yeni nesil bir oyun olduğu kanaatine rahatlıkla varabilirsiniz. Oyun süresince yaklaşık 60 adet screenshot aldığımı biliyorum.

    İşin oynanış tarafı ise eğlenceli. FPS oyunlarıyla çok fazla vakit geçirmiş ve hala vakit geçiren birisi olarak çok eğlenceli ve oturaklı olduğunu söyleyebilirim. Kesinlikle silahlarla ateş ederken çok zevk alıcaksınız.

    Son olarak seslendirme kısmına da ufaktan bir şey söylemek istiyorum. Yürüme sesleri neden bu kadar garip ses çıkartıyor abi tarif etmeye çalışsam edemem yani.

    Метро Исход, продолжение серии МЕТРО. Которое стало лучше предыдущих частей во всём!
    Прекрасная графика! Интересный сюжет! Проработанный мир и персонажи! Мне очень сильно зашел стелс! Я шкерился по углам и выносил всех по одному что никто и не чухнул! Прошел на одном дыхании игру два раза : Первый по стелсу а второй по беспределу!(от стиля прохождения зависят сюжетные моменты на уровнях и    Метро Исход, продолжение серии МЕТРО. Которое стало лучше предыдущих частей во всём!

    Well what can i say about this game.. A lot of bugs which cant afford to move on in a game.
    First location was completely overbugged
    Ive tried to move on but every time when i was opening a door suddenly ive been getting a headshot from nowhere.. Location overload with T posed men seems great . Its not like this game is weak but in same way there is no point to give 10/10 even 9/10    Well what can i say about this game.. A lot of bugs which cant afford to move on in a game.

    MAJOR BUG/GLITCHES

    Base Game: Even after 3 years this is still present in the game as it happens in most playthrough on both PC and console. In the Caspian Desert you have to go to the lighthouse for a mission. However, the game black screens and you have to Ctrl-Alt-Del to restart. After some research on Reddit, the workaround, is to lower all your settings, look down to the floor in the game and proceed up the ramp toward the lighthouse. Expect hiccups along the way and save as you move forward whilst looking down. It took me 22 attempts and 1hr 10mins to get lucky.

    DLC1: Major glitch. After New Years speech cutscene the game black screens and cuts audio. The workaround I found was to drop quality to Med, Tex Fil to 4x, shading 1.0 and Vsync ON. Took 8 attempts 25min.

    INTRO

    I will not cover the narrative and will cover technical elements. I have played the previous two games and I thought they were both decent games for what they are. Having said that, I want to preface my review by mentioning that I think the games have suffered a little bit due to the hype it receives by its fans. But at the same time the series is far from being terrible as some have claimed and actually the series as a whole and this game is of a good standard if you consider it for what it is. A post-apocalyptic FPS, containing survival horror elements, and with immersion as what I would say as its primary focus. Besides that, the game is brought down by its technical issues.

    GAMEPLAY

    Gunplay - Gunplay is solid on PC. Definitely an improvement from LL. The only issue I encountered was dodgy hitboxes as sometimes I would line up a perfect headshot and for whatever reason the bullet would just miss. Luckily, I did not encounter hitbox issues often and it mainly occurred in the first region of the game.

    Movement - Still frustrating like the old games. Artyom still struggles to hop on to platforms that are 2ft tall and if you attempt to jump around you can get stuck. Some have complained about the short sprinting time but I didn't see the issue. Perhaps after a few years there was a patch to adjust this. I think the main issue with movement is how animation heavy simple actions are. One has to 'press E' to open doors and climb ladders. This could be considered quite outdated as a game mechanic as it feels like autonomy is being taken away from the player.

    Stealth - Stealth has always been a key gameplay element to the Metro series and it remains so here. However, Metro Exodus suffers from poor stealth mechanics this time around. One glaring issue I experienced very early on in the first region was that enemies could spot me through walls. I was crouching around a settlement where all enemies where inside. All of a sudden, enemies were on alert, I quick loaded a few times to see where I had gone wrong but I hadn't. Thankfully, this wasn't a recurring issue and only happened 5-6 times in certain areas. But when it did happen it totally destroyed any and all feelings of immersion.

    Crafting - Crafting remains the same but two new features were introduced. Firstly, being able to switch weapon attachments on the fly which of course is brilliant. When the Moon is out you can now use NV scope and switch it out if you have been out till the sun comes up. Secondly, although not crafting, weapon maintenance is required as you have to clean your weapon at crafting tables using liquid resources. Weapons deteriorate in the field affecting stats or jamming the bullet mid fight but honestly the impact is hardly noticeable. Many dislike this feature, and I think it is a bit gimmicky as you are cleaning your weapon with the 'E' key and it can be argued that it doesn't really help with enhancing immersion at all.

    WORLD/EXPLORATION

    Semi-open world areas exist in Exodus and its not for the better. Volga the snow topped first area is just a pain to traverse. I had no fun in this opening area and I think it was a bad idea to open up with this map. I have read about many players dropping the game after the first 3-4 hours due to not having any fun in the first area. Volga, is part land and part water and getting about in a row boat is slow and annoying as you will be often attacked whilst rowing. The second area is the Caspian Desert and here you can use a car to travel. That sounds nice right? Until you get it stuck due to the bumpy terrain. Save often because this will most certainly happen. Besides traversal issues, my main gripe is with the uninteresting world. These semi-open worlds are boring, its just a cycle of visit here and clear area. Nothing special ever happens and there isn't nothing special to look at either despite the game being gorgeous itself in terms of graphics. The game's flow and exploration shines brightest during the more linear sections which proves bigger isn't always better.    … Expand

    Visually the game is a treat. It looked amazing on the PS4 and now runs even better on the PC with high frame rates. The VA is ok to mostly meh. The general story not really that compelling or interesting.

When Exodus plays to it's OG Metro roots like with small linear maps and tight enclosed    Visually the game is a treat.     Pretty much a fanboy of the OG Metro 2033 and thought the Redux Last Light was really fun. When Exodus plays to it's OG Metro roots like with small linear maps and tight enclosed spaces the tense sense of overwhelming claustrophobic comes into play. Exodus does not work as well narratively and gameplay wise on the larger free roam maps.

    The gunplay and stealth was never really great in Metro games, but stealth and non lethal takedowns of factions are required for the good karma ending. Stealth on the large maps can be a drag and a single punch KO doesn't make for exciting gameplay for sure. It is more fun to go loud for sure, but it will be at the cost of a good karma ending maybe. The game only allows for peeing off one faction out of the three that effect the karma rating.

    Not my fave Metro for sure due to the Exodus nature. So not really much Metro in a Metro game. Pretty much a mixed bag Metro experience. Kind of 50/50 on this one for sure. Though I do love me some Metro vibe for sure and this does have the good old Metro vibe in places.    … Expand

Anyway, I'm going to go with 10, because this is one of the best games I've played in a while. Great atmosphere, great gameplay, and above all an emotional story. It may not be a direct sequel to the first two parts, but that shouldn't be a reason toI really don't understand why this game is so poorly rated. The grades are either zero or ten... There's definitely something in the middle. Anyway, I'm going to go with 10, because this is one of the best games I've played in a while. Great atmosphere, great gameplay, and above all an emotional story. It may not be a direct sequel to the first two parts, but that shouldn't be a reason to get this many negative reviews.     Other than some of the early RE ports, this has to be one of the worst console ports I've ever played. Not even referring to Epic's involvement, it's just a BAD port. Not worth it even on heavy discount - stay far away if you value your money at all.

    How I forgot to add score to this game. I see few negative comments surpass the main likeness of this game. Game itself is well made and has it's own emotion and story where main story characters find peace.. or not. All depends of your choice to make it to finish a unique story to it's destiny. Well made of story telling which made me feel draw a sigh.

    Previous games were better. This one has so many poorly designed/unpolished/flawed, and unenjoyable things. Just one issue after another. I played the previous games multiple times, but I would not want to play this again.

    It's a perfect action adventure game. Metro Exodus have great maps, fascinating musics and immersive scenario. When you're playing Metro Exodus you can feel and understand the post apocalyptic world and the peoples psychology and attitudes.
    But it has some bugs and performance issues...

    This is the first Metro game I've seen or played
    - Really boring story with frequent long dialogue scenes where control is taken away from you, felt more like a bad movie than a game.

    I love this Game, the music, the graphics, etc.
    The game play is well-balanced and hits the amount of open world just right, to encourage exploring, while still being story based. The Story is great, the ending is very memorable, and the difficulty is just right.

    Сюжет, не удивительно что многим иностранцам он не понравился или не был ими понят. Помимо основных действий, игра хорошо показывает Российскую действительность.
    Также воюем с кем-то уже 20 лет, также нашу страну не могут поднять уже 20 лет, также нас пугают "врагами" уже 20 лет...
    Сюжет, абстрагированно от выше сказанного, хороший. Особенно концовка, она вызвала у меня сильные эмоции.
    Я считаю что вывести метро из метро было хорошей идеей. Мы уже видели метро, а что там на верху? Задавал я себе этот вопрос и через несколько лет, на мой глухой вопрос наконец-то был получен ответ. Все что происходит на локациях вполне могло произойти и в реальности. Волга - люди поклоняются Царь-рыбе и отрекаются от электричества. В реальном мире некоторые 5G считают опасностью и помимо этого охотно слушая ВЕСЬ бред что им говорят. Я считаю происходящее на локации оправданным.
    Ямантау - болезнь куру. Правда единственным минусом является то, что зараженные этой болезнью не живут больше 9 месяцев, а в игре они жили больше 20 лет!
    Каспий - Нефтяники рабовладельцы... Да, это может быть. Я уверен, культ нефти появился бы.
    Тайга - пожалуй я не буду говорить про пионеров. На это отвечает сама игра.
    Новосибирск - тут некого разбирать. Вы можете сказать про ДЛС, но я в не играл в него.

    Техническая составляющая не плохая и не хорошая.
    Графика. видно что у ребят(студии) нет большого бюджета, но она не плохая, она приятная и все. Вы сейчас удивитесь, но моя разогнанная GTX 750 ti на средних настройках выдаёт 40-60 кадров. Хотя в более сложных играх она уже теряет потенциал. Потенциал у этой карты в 2021, смешно звучит.
    Геймплей. ИИ средние. Стелс скудный. Поведение оружие хорошее. Крафт не напрягает, этим он и уникален.
    И пожалуй на этом я и закончу, я рассказал все что хотел.    … Expand

    It pains me to say this as a long-time Metro fan. However, Exodus is not a good Metro game. As a game, it is a mediocre game. But as a Metro game, it fails to deliver.     Metro:Exodus на данный момент лучшая игра в которую я играл. Игра очень проработаная, а от концовки наворачивались слёзы. Больше всего меня впечатлило на сколько детально проработан мир, и какая работа проделана. Но всё же баги присутствуют, это может быть не заметно, но очень портит общую картину игры. А так игра превосходна!Metro:Exodus на данный момент лучшая игра в которую я играл. Игра очень проработаная, а от концовки наворачивались слёзы.     The game is not bad. It's just mediocre in everything except plot. Mediocre gunfight, mediocre gameplay. Plot however is just stupid. It contains a lot of bizarre moments and just not interesting.

    Exodus starts off much like the others � you play as the stalwart Artyom, hero of the Metro and former member of the Spartan Order, who now spends his time lugging a radio up to the surface to search for the survivors he believes must still populate the world. Just as in the books, Artyom is a firm believer that the life human beings have in the Metro isn�t worth living, at one point comparing the tunnel dwellers to the mushrooms they grow (a quote I�m very sad was left out). But Artyom continues his investigation and poking his fingers into the wrong pie, is forced to leave Moscow behind, Spartan companions and his wife, Anna in tow.    … Expand

    Игра про все города России кроме Москвы и Питера. Советую. Храфэка (графика ес че) 10/10. Сюжет 10/10, прошёл на плохую концовку - рыдал как тварь. Прошёл на хорошую - рыдал как тварь. Короче советую. Одна из ЛУЧШИХ игр.

    Metro has always been a very niche game series with poor storytelling, broken stealth and unsatisfying shooting mechanics, which are offset by original setting. The same is true for Exodus, although it also adds "pointless open world" to the pile. [Issue#236, p.28]
