    In the sweltering July heat, Ye Zixiang, facing his art college entrance exam, returned alone to this long-lost city. The waves continued to silently lap against the long breakwater.
    Why did he leave? Why return now? A crossroads of reunions, each with its own significance, naturally stood before him.
