    I've been playing beat 'em ups for years. Mayhem Brawler is the game that puts a lot of freshness for the genre, with branching paths, different ending,s and a whole new urban-fantasy setting that includes a ton of rogues gallery. Especially after the Air Supremacy update, with fun new mechanics, crazy combos, and new game modes, the devs obviously care about the game they've created andI've been playing beat 'em ups for years. Mayhem Brawler is the game that puts a lot of freshness for the genre, with branching paths, different ending,s and a whole new urban-fantasy setting that includes a ton of rogues gallery. Especially after the Air Supremacy update, with fun new mechanics, crazy combos, and new game modes, the devs obviously care about the game they've created and its fanbase.     A streets of rage clone but no where near as good as that classic. Bad characters and poor graphics make this one for the bargain bin. At the very least, they could have improved on the animations but instead it looks like its running at 30 fps even on a top end gaming rig. Give this one a pass or simply wait till it goes on sale.

    The demo was very promising yet the final version hasn't addressed any of the issues many people have pointed out:
    a) exceptionally slow gameplay
    b) clunky game mechanics
    c) lacking animations
    It had a lot going for it but by release it was obvious that the developers just weren't experienced enough to make a proper balance between dymanics and fun.

    Yerli oyun stüdyosu Hero Concept‘in ustalık işi olduğunu hiç çekinmeden söyleyebileceğimiz Mayhem Brawler, 90’ların ilk yarısının beat’em up estetiğini modern çağa taşırken, aynı zamanda türün en yeni örneklerinin altında hiç ezilmeyen parlak bir çalışma.

    This was great Beat`em Up with cool art and old Street of Rage vibe to it. Old school polished classic Beat`em Up mechanics and nice visuals. Plus comic strips as storytelling with good voice acting. And I really like how on the background people talking on social media about police brutallity and justified violence and have different takes on it. It is simple enjoyable game.     It’s obvious that Mayhem Brawler’s developers love the genre and truly understand what makes it fun. Their game resembles Streets of Rage 4 a bit too much for my taste and sadly fails to reach its level of awesomeness, but it’s one of those beat ‘em ups that let you really feel the old school vibe – and that’s awesome.     There's plenty to like about Mayhem Brawler. The setting is unique among games in the genre, and the mechanics work well with the combat system thanks to its fluidity and diversity. The main campaign may be short and the unlockables list consists of one mode, but the three different endings and multiple campaign branches mean that there's more content to this game than originally believed. You'll have to rely on local friends for this one, but there's an absolutely good time to be had.

    In a time where rival games are doing it better, it was always going to be difficult to rival Streets of Rage 4 without doing something exceptional. Mayhem Brawler is not that, but I am not sure it was ever trying to be. Instead, I think the developers wanted to give fans more decent beat ’em up action, which the developers have successfully done.
