This game, describing itself as a comedy-heavy, slightly naughty dating-business sim has a problem: It wants to be a lot of things. And therefore has an epic battle going on right from the beginning:

This game, describing itself as a comedy-heavy, slightly naughty dating-business sim has a problem: It wants to be a lot of things. And therefore has an epic battle going on right from the beginning:
A hilarious dating simulation vs. a terrible business "simulation".

The dating part trumps with fun and engaging characters, dialogues and story somewhere right in the middle between "Addams Family" and "Monthy Python", almost decadent customization options and even halfway decent mini games that come with the occasional lunch date.

But the enemy forces are strong as well and bring a challenge-free idle cookie clicker waiting game to the battle that leaves you staring at one screen for long minutes while filling up and emptying bars, counting numbers and killing your will to live with all the terrible mechanics that modern mobile gaming has to offer.

In any case this is not a game that you should (or could) play for twenty hours straight, and you won't exactly be able to boast about your achievements. It will mostly test your patience, not your wits or your skills, and you should at least like the artstyle and maybe take a look at the trailers to see if you and the writing could become 'friends' (as I certainly did). Also don't expect actual romance or content that can only be played with one hand.

But you may still fall in love with the characters and have a good time, just not that way.

The eye candy is appealing, it’s LGBTQ-conscious, the writing is on point and the gameplay is just engaging enough to keep a player’s clicking finger busy on the quest to reclaim their fortune. Spending time on the spicier side was exactly the change of pace I needed, and I’m 100% on board with whatever these developers cook up next.
