    Excellent 4X strategy game. Deep, customizable and intense. Would be a 10, except that as you increase your planet and population count, the micro-managing gets almost tedius. The built in AI designed to keep the micro-management level down is not reliable enough to trust, so you end up doing it all yourself.

    One of the All time space strategy classics. More fun than MOO 3. I still play the game and have been on and off since 96.

    An Excellent Game in its time. I've played this game hundreds of times.
    Someone needs to remake it as close to the original as possible, so, that the newer generations can try it. Occasionally, I can still get it to work on my Vista machine. Too complicated for most to find and use the DOS version and setup for curent internet use.

    When compared to the first Master of Orion this game loses sadly. I've tried very hard to enjoy this game because it has better graphics and such. But some how this game lost what is MOO. I recommend just getting the first one. Actually its so old now you can download the disks for free and play it with DOSBOX.

    classic game and one of the best 4x games, that still is fun and is the best part of the franchise.
    There are different races and you can even design your own race. Gameplay is addictive and complex, like the civilizations franchise. Graphics is ok, dont forget, this game is from 1996. I played with the 1.5 Moo2 Mod.

    As the Heroes of Might and Magic was my first turn-based fantasy game, so this game was my first turn-based fantastic game. At one time, it was just a great strategy with interesting ideas and relatively good drawing. In my own way, I always really liked games that you can play with someone sitting at the same computer and discussing your game.     still playng it since 1996 was the first pc game i ever buy

    They tried to make moo3 and remake moo2 in 2016 in real time, but nothing can defeat the original moo2, its just better in everything, the combat is more tactical and deep the management is better. The onyl thing they need to do is remaster it in high res make map bigger, more techs more races. and keep everything how it    still playng it since 1996 was the first pc game i ever buy

    Soundtrack and Grapics ok, the computer is cheating on high difficult level but its still the best 4X scifi strategy game of the 90s.
