    In relation to the first one, this one is very interior, but it made up for it with more realistic blood and better graphics. The story is very difficult to understand

    The best game I saw from the rockstar company is just MANHUNT franchise , Especially the second version

    Need fixing but it's good game after all. Heavily damaged by censorship but it has that distinctive scent of first Manhunt. Would love a RAGE remake with altered story a little so there won't be any plotholes.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Manhunt 2 is a huge improvement over the first game, with a more polished gameplay, visuals and a much darker story.
    The gameplay still remains the same as it was in the first game, stealth, hid in the shadows, approach to your victim without been detected and execute him. Like in the first game, There are tree levels of execution "green" "yellow" and "red" (the most violent one), and work holding down the left mouse button, this game features interactive executions that consist into moving the mouse when the execution animation occurs, this can be disable in the settings menu and environmental kills that adds the double of brutality to the game.
    The melee combat still remains bad, avoid melee confrontation as possible.
    The shooting mechanics where fixed and improved over the first game, now aiming and shoot feels smooth and the bullets hits it's target.
    In comparison o the previous entry, this one feels less frustrating, it it a bit more easy but it still retails the punishing brutality, more balanced in other words.
    The graphics are more define with better polish and structure.
    The plot is darker, referring about mind control and double personalities.
    And of course, it is much bloodier and violent that's why it had the Ao rating.
    Now a days is hard to get your hands into this game, i think the only way to play it is either pirate the game or play the console version which is censured.    … Expand

    The reason to why Manhunt 2 is rated AO, I really don't effin know. Back when I wasn't even an adult, playing it on PSP without any of the blurs/filters (raw executions), it never came across to me as something only adults were allowed to play. By its release in 2007, there were already plenty of games with superior graphics, gore and physics, yet they were rated M. I found the story interesting and the executions amusing. The stealth is well-done. The A.I. can be pretty dumb at times, though. I love the game, but there are a couple of things I liked that are in the PSP version, but are missing in the PC version... The ability to throw a heavy punch is gone and the neat cel-shaded look when hiding in the shadows is gone. On the upside, the PC version can get a nice visual boost, with the use of Nvidia Inspector, by having HBAO+ and SGSSAA enabled. This helps Manhunt 2 look a bit more modern... sorta kinda.
    Note: Manhunt 2 does not play well with Nvidia's ShadowPlay; the best game recorder yet. It must be kept off.    … Expand

    Manhunt 2 is a great stealth game. I respect other reviews of video game journalist, but you have to admit they reviewed the console version. The PC version is far superior as it has better audio, removal of the execution blurring, and new executions. I have to say its far better than the original in terms of PC, even though everyone knows the original is more recieved. This sequel offersManhunt 2 is a great stealth game. This sequel offers jump executions which makes it better, far better story, and more likeable characters. The only problems I see is the incositencies with frame rate, and their inferior graphics and engine compared to other 2007 games. The reason why video game websites never review the superior PC is that it is AO, but you can get it in torrents. If you are going to play this game, go play it in PC. Its on of Rockstar's greatest masterpiece, and their main for the stealth title.… Expand
