I don't even know where to start with this one. There's absolutely no redeeming qualities of this game that would justify the $20 price tag. I could talk about the horrible writing, or the egotistical developer, or the default assets still in the torrented files of RPGmaker, or the toxic and ignorant fanbase, or the fact that there's no actual gameplay and you can access the content byI don't even know where to start with this one. I'm just going to be lenient and say that this game is garbage. Expand

Turns out that most of the positive reviews are the developer's sockpuppet accounts. That's all the proof you need to not support crap games like this.

This is probably one of the worst games ever made by even a worse person. Major Minor is really a boring game with a terrible story. Not to mention the only reason why Major/Minor ever got good reviews was because of Klace telling his "fans" to rate it a 10/10 so people would buy it, but whatever you do, avoid this game. There are much better games out there such as Night in the Woods and Undertale that have far better stories and much better gameplay. Expand

As this being my 1st visual novel i have ever played i loved it. Story is amazing when you first start playing you cant stop until you know what happens next, very thrilling. The game had a cast of amazing characters too, bad guys you actually hate and good guys you really like. Music in the game was just perfect and everything was so well thought. Amazing game overall i definitely recommend it.

I've played mobile version on the HTC M8 with Android. An awesome piece of gamedev and story-telling based on anthro animals. Well made pictures! As a first visual novel a rating is obvious: Klace/10, whops - I mean 10/10 :D

Visual novels are the cheese of the videogame industry, as bad as those mini handheld tiger electronic games.
These games are games but the lowest common denominator, your literally scraping the toilet to find a shroud of fun in the game. You flip through pages. Furthermore the "Dev's" use of RPG maker more than questions his credibility as a functional developer. (programming is essential for games these days and not a ounce of it is found)
Perhaps this wouldn't be so bad if he weren't shady and fully transparent about his practices.let alone leaving the original game engines assets behind . This game is the laughing stock amongst non furries. its hard to give it good light when peeps are modding it behind the scenes with memes and silly troll like scenaries. If steam is infested with games this bad and not a thing is done to improve quality control, things are only gonna get much worse.

This was the only visual novel that I have played, It is one of my favorite games in general now. The story and characters made me want to keep playing until I got to the end. It was an amazing game, especially since it was their first game. I would recommend it for sure.

Major/Minor was my introduction to the visual novel genre, and what a welcoming it was. The story is very interesting, taking you between two worlds, both full of memorable characters.

The game has one of the best stories that i have ever read. The characters have a unique interesting design. Also if you become close with a character you will learn their back-story which gives nice replay-ability. The first time i played it i got so hooked to the story that i played it constantly for 2 days until i finished the story. Overall very interesting game. Would highly recommend.

One of the best things I've played in a while. First visual novel and I don't regret it. If you think this is another generic novel then you've guessed wrong. I can't even explain it. Pick up the dang game yourself!!

Ahhh, MajorMinor, the furry visual novel game with quite the controversy. Well, this review will touch base on none of that; not only is it in the past, but Klace has also came out and apologized for it, and given that he's asked for a second chance from the furry community I too shall elect to give him a second chance. Well, this review will touch base on none of that; not only is it in the past, but Klace has also came out and apologized for it, and given that he's asked for a second chance from the furry community I too shall elect to give him a second chance. Forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us, and all that.

So, where do I begin? Well, let's start with the obvious: This game lacks serious gameplay, and was HEAVILY carried by its plot. If that had failed? Well, you'd be seeing a much lower score, that's for sure. You'd better enjoy a lot of reading, as that's all you'll be doing, with the occasional chance to chime in and make a choice. However, while these do start out as mundane - such as informing a character about your train ride status or deciding to go to a Maid Cafe - they quickly escalate into high-stakes games. One choice has you deciding who to side with during political turmoil, and another choice has you making a rather tough decision on who lives or who dies. The other major issue is the character portraits - there's no changing expressions whatsoever, and it would've been nice to see Kila or Rook turn to face you directly when addressing you - kinda like Fire Emblem for GBA did.

Now, things that I liked involved the music, which oftentimes was pretty epic. The main theme is great, and there's tonnes of nice themes that fit rather well with the moments. Klace made an excellent choice getting Fox Amoore on board for this project. The character designs by PawziClawzi are bright and coloful as well - though it is a bit of a grab bag with the character designs, and that means there's a real lack of consistency to the character design. But I did like the femboy bunnies that ran the bar. Especially Phidget, gosh what an adorable lad. Inumei was another character I found adorable. Poor little husky just looking for a family.

The plot sees the Player winning a trip to Japan with another lucky contestant - a squirrel named Kila - that involved drinking an energy drink called PopStar. They get to tour around the world with the pop idol Klace, and the first stop is Japan. Everything's all good until Klace is the latest victim in the mysterious "Midnight Deaths". Not only that, but prior to this a mysterious hyena in a dimension called The Ark has told you that you have great powers, and a great destiny. It only gets deeper from there, as The Player is at times whisked to a fantasy world named Terra, which is on the eve of a revolution. Little do they know, the two worlds are interconnected, and they soon come to find out that they aren't the only ones that the mysterious hyena has contacted, and the plot only thickens from there.

Speaking of plot, that's another major downside. The first two or three chapters run INCREDIBLY slow and run the risk of turning players off, but if you stick around until chapter 4 when things pick up the plot thickens and becomes far more interesting. Not only that, the game does a good job of casting doubt on your decisions, and only by making the correct ones can you see the True Ending. Be careful though, as it's not always obvious what choice is "right". The game also includes an "affection system" where you can gain or loose points with characters - and this can have effects on key moments in the plot later on.

So is it bad? No. I'd say it's a little above average, thanks to the plot, which I eventually came to thoroughly enjoy. And one of the more encouraging aspects is it seems like there's genuine effort on the part of Klace. Which is always a good sign. Hopefully his next game can really knock it out the ballpark - though if the demo for it is any indication, he's well on the track to achieving that.

So, take a dive. Go for it. See if you have what it takes to be The Savior.

Back to main story this game, Sci-fi theme and fantasy world, my favorite. If you like this, won't disappoint to get. Some point in the game is many of save point but some part is lack, developer should back to reorganize for next project. Some chapter make me sad

7/10 so average, I think you can do next project to better, better. See ya! meet next game woc

The only reason why this game ever got good ratings is because of Klace's "fans". They think he is so cool because he made a game in a bootleg version of RPG game maker, not even a real game engine. But say anything bad about his game and his fans will go crazy, like I said this game is horrible and his next game will be even worse. 0/10.

I must say, I enjoyed MajorMinor far more than I thought I would. The game is an undoubtedly acquired taste and I can see some players potentially getting turned off before even completing the first couple of chapters. The game's pacing is deliberate and characters aren't immediately likable, but if you can get past that, the game definitely opens up and blooms. For those who have enough open-mindedness, patience, and suspension of disbelief to give MajorMinor a chance, hopefully the game will grow on you as it did on me.
