Mar 19, 2019The game uses a Fixed-Number-Generator. Meaning if you make a powerful deck, you'll only see other powerful decks, which defeats the whole purpose of competing. The Wizards of the Coast run this game like Sociopaths.

Feb 24, 2019This is pay-to-win garbage that gets really boring really fast. The interface is way too clunky, and sometimes you literally have to spend 10 minutes clicking 'accept' on every little thing your opponent does. Although this game is 'free' to play, I wouldn't bother wasting your time, and definitely would never pay a dime for it.

Dec 30, 2020Cash grab with manipulated shuffler and matchmaking. Avoid this one like it was covid-19

Jan 15, 2021Good way to test deck ideas, but the player base is terrible. Nearly every game the opponent will either take incredibly long turns or spam chat when you take any time at all during your turn. Also it takes far too long to earn coins for drafting.

Feb 4, 2021This is the company that killed Hex? The card effects don't work correctly & this game feels and looks like it is from 20 years ago

Jul 13, 2021Magic the gathering is fun but with unbearable bad optimization and algorithm rigged shuffler its not worth your time.

Dec 26, 2020One of the best experiences we MTG players could have until you find out that it is a pay to win game and winning is not guaranteed specially after a new card set is out.

Jan 24, 2021Pay-to-win classics game. Still can be enjoyable if play from time to time. But not too often. The more you play more pay-to-winier it gets. back to game after month and you win again) Matchmaking made to force you to pay more if you play more)

Dec 5, 2021Completely predatory game model. Don't start playing this game unless you want your wallet raped by greedy corporate scum.
-
Mar 21, 2021If you wanna spend hundreds of dollars in order to have a meta deck for a couple of months until they release a new set or ban key cards in your deck then this is the game for you. If you like playing card games where the game openly emits rigging your draws resulting in a forced 50% win-loss ratio then this is the game for you.

Jul 29, 2022When a games storefront is updated daily but bugs are left unfixed forever... then I have an issue.

Oct 25, 2021Such **** that I want to puke. The only thing that is interesting in this game is to collect a collection and **** off from the greed of developers. You would at least improve the service, and not introduce another donation.

LEVEL (Czech Republic)Feb 28, 2020An excellent and faithful conversion of the iconic card game into a very welcoming computer free-to-play form. This is a hit. [Issue#300]

Dec 18, 2019This is the definitive Magic experience on PC. It’s free-to-play, but it’s incredibly well balanced and lets us enjoy it without hassle. If you enjoy card-based games, give it a try.

Dec 6, 2019Magic: The Gathering Arena is an excellent entry point into the twenty-six-year-old franchise for new players and lovable for veteran players as well. While it’s generally a very fun experience, it’s not without technical issues.
