    Terrible. Let's be honest, the star of Mafia II was the story. The gameplay and the controls were average at best, and frustratingly awful at worst. This DLC comes with all of 4 story related missions. (The story by the way makes no sense) To boost the gameplay "value" the devs added like 20 arcade style side missions (which are actually required to continue to the main missions, so theyTerrible. Let's be honest, the star of Mafia II was the story. The gameplay and the controls were average at best, and frustratingly awful at worst. This DLC comes with all of 4 story related missions. (The story by the way makes no sense) To boost the gameplay "value" the devs added like 20 arcade style side missions (which are actually required to continue to the main missions, so they aren't really side missions at all) None of which were enjoyable in the slightest. One of my biggest complaints for the core game was its appalling save system i had hopes that this DLC would rectify that. What did they do? They COMPLETELY eliminated any checkpoint system in the 20 side mission. On your way to the "safe zone" to finish a 10 minute side mission? Crash? Start at the beginning again! It's immensely frustrating. The good: After you finish all the missions, you are allowed to walk around the city and replay any mission you want, which is nice. There are also like 15 or so new Playboys to find as well. Yeah, that's about all of the good. Basically, it's a bad DLC and you shouldn't spend very much, if any of your money on it. Get it when it's on sale if you really have to have it.… Expand

    - шесть локаций: яхт-клуб, депо, станция метро, супермаркет, стройка, бордель - двадцать четыре миссии, проходимые от силы за 7-8 часов и практически не связанные между собой... и всё. По сути, нам под видом полноценного аддона подсунули средней вшивости мишшн-пак. А в Соединенных Штатах Пендостана еще и дерут за него аж десять убитых енотов. Безобразие?    Плюсы:
    - новая машина

    В оригинальной игре всё было связано, там был сюжет, там было интересно узнать, что для чего делается, и какие у этого будут последствия. Здесь же - просто 24 миссии. Хотя, если уж очень хочется помафиозить в роли обезбашенного жирдяя, не заморачиваясь на сюжете, игра даже может кому-то понравиться.    … Expand

    Joe's Adventure is the third and final DLC for Mafia 2. This dlc released, seems the most serious since DLC has to do with the Mafia 2 is slightly larger, and more interesting.

    Однотипные задания так же присутствуют, но они разбавлены очень даже неплохими сюжетными, в которых есть кат-сцены и нормально поставленные задачи, а не "подай", "принеси".

    Boring, one water... Endless arcade missions for a while. Only 3 missions really touch the main plot. Everything else is monotonous assignments from various characters. In general, for those who feel sorry for tarting time - pass by. Those who have not played enough of the main plot can play.

    MAFIA II JOE'S ADVENTURES is a good story extension about Joe. There are good missions. It's just a pity that there are very few cutscenes. But I otherwise enjoyed this and I recommend it. 8,5/10

    Joe is much better character than Jimmy but its still a rip off from the original game.

    Mafia 2 is my favorite game! Therefore, this is the first game in which I completed the addition.
    Joe is a character who became my best friend after completing Mafia 2. I really wanted to go through the story with him.
    In this addition, the plot is simple. The gameplay has not changed. There are not as many video bets as we wanted. And the missions are not very original. But those    Mafia 2 is my favorite game! Therefore, this is the first game in which I completed the addition.
    Joe is a character who became my best friend after completing Mafia 2. I really wanted to go through the story with him.
    In this addition, the plot is simple. The gameplay has not changed. There are not as many video bets as we wanted. And the missions are not very original.
    But those arrows on cars and the timer on the top right are very annoying. I think they were completely unnecessary.
    But mostly, the atmosphere of that mafia remained and it is pleasant to play.
    Accordingly, I consider this an average project.    … Expand

    Лучшее дополнение к Mafia II (а я прошел их все). Наконец-то узнаём, что делал Джо, пока Вито по его вине... отсутствовал. А делал он много всего, и все очень интересно, довольно ярко закончилось, о чем и повествует DLC.

    What's new in Mafia 2: Joe's Adventure, as the narration and Joe himself as main character, work just great. The problems are all related to what was already be implemented into Mafia II, as the IA and an extreme linearity of the missions. For those reasons the whole experience is a mixed bag advisable to everyone loved the original experience.
