The game is really good. His story is interesting. The gameplay is eh. The platform elements are nice. I enjoyed the game in general. It's a good game, if not a masterpiece. It also made me very happy that it was a Turkish game.

I had a chance to play it while on early access. Gorgeous places, touching story and clever puzzles. I'm halfway through and encountered a bit of a spoiler online watching people play, so I'm bracing myself. Will update when I finish it. So far...

    Pros:
    - The story.
    - The colors and the environment are absolutely enchanting. A must see.
    - Music. Some of them are plain lovely! And I think kind of prepares your mood for the events...
    - Some puzzles literally make you talk to yourself, realizing the genius behind it.
    - Not many "timed" stuff which I hate. Usually, you need to look at the place and analyze it to get through. This is kind of a personal pro, though :)
    - Character voice overs.
    - Gamepad controls are intuitive.
    - The unbearable lightness of pushing a log into the water :D I'm telling you, it's satisfying :))

    Cons:
    - Keyboard controls are not intuitive especially if you're used to using wasd/mouse for movement. Although you get used to it quickly, I'd recommend a gamepad, it's simply more fun.

Macrotis: A Mother’s Journey only takes about 5 hours to complete, but the ratio of well-crafted puzzles to busywork during that time is quite low, and the repetitive and embarrassing dialogue demanded a trip to the settings screen to disable voice — it doesn’t help that certain retries prompt the same insipid conversation every single time.
