Jul 29, 2026Lunarium is an action-rpg permeating with a wistful atmosphere that delicately embraces the best aspects of the souls-like genre while forgoing much of what can make them frustrating. While the boss battles never quite reach the heights that some other works in the souls-like genre do, the encounters prove to be regularly rewarding and enthralling throughout thanks to the tightly crafted risk and reward systems in place. With the adventure led forward by a delightful pair of protagonists who regularly outshine the rather forgettable narrative, what remains is a consistently satisfying and accessible adventure that is easy to recommend to just about anyone.

Jul 29, 2026Without the technical issues, Lunarium is a solid ARPG that deserves your attention. If seeing clips or images of the game gets you at all interested, you’ll most likely enjoy what Lunarium has to offer (given the bugs are fixed). Its pleasant art style, grandiose soundtrack, and deep combat system kept me engaged, but the myriad of bugs and awkwardness in dialogue kept me from fully clicking with the whole package.
