    I'm actually shocked to see that low critic scores for this classic. As i was hardcore fan of the show and also hardcore gamer in 2008, this was one of my most anticipated video games of 2008. It wasn't perfect and had some annoying stuff, but it also had tons of good stuff. Graphics were really good for 2008 game, specially on pc. It had all the major locations from the tv show and mostI'm actually shocked to see that low critic scores for this classic.     this game is a boring waste of time, it is never succesful to engage the player in the actual story, the controls are horrible the character moves like **** the shooting is awful, the only thing good about the game is probably that is based on lost but not even with a good story already in the face of the developer can they make an engaging history with quality dialog.

    What can I say? This is not something I wish to see from a game published in 2008. Let's start with the good points. The main menu is very nice - that gives the one point. I consider my PC somewhat high-end (Q6600, GF8800GTS, 2GB) but What can I say? This is not something I wish to see from a game published in 2008. Let's start with the good points. And talking about loading, it does it ALL the time. Loading times take ridiculously long, and I think I was looking at the loading screen more than actual gameplay during the first 15 minutes. Let's take an example: you walk in a (tube)jungle for about 50 meters - LOAD 30s - you found a person, talk to him/her - LOAD 30s - you find yourself in the plane, take a picture with your camera - LOAD 30s - you are again talking with the same person as before - LOAD 30s - you are on a beach.... Seriously? What the heck is this? Have the developers actually ever played this game, because it is not a bit fun.… Expand

    It's is a licensed game so it is bound to be rubbish it usually is always sometimes a bad idea to turn tv shows into video games.

    The game is just like the show. Basically...if you want to buy a few more episodes of lost...get it...haha. I'm getting the PC version though...because it's 30 dollars, instead of 60. You just need a good machine to run it.

    This game is only for lost fans, the game is pretty good as a lost episode but could have been a lot better. I laughed my way trough the first few levels then it started to grow on me, but not all that much. The lost characters don't really like me too much other then Kate, not that I had any choice that I could tell and that made me start to get angry at Jack Lock and Siead*.     Seriously, how great is this? Here we get to play a completely new character as if he were connected directly to the tv series instead of some far off story that has nothing to do with the series. And all at a great price (if you bought the PC version, which is only $30 compared to $60 for the other versions).     This game should get lost and stay lost... forever! Annoying gameplay glitches make the whole thing almost unplayable. With few minor tweaks this could have been... average.

    Finally! After all this time we finally have a good companion game to the show. This is a lot better than I expected, given that the show has such a strong fan base. They could have made any old cruddy game and it would have probably done well just with the diehard show fans alone. But they took the care to make this a sharp, fun and well paced game that stands on it

    This game is really not very good at all, but the score I'm giving it is due almost entirely to one thing: an approach to the "amnesiac player character" that has not been done before. As with the show itself, the compelling flashbacks reveal more and more of the character until you discover that you may not be all that you wish you were.     In short, this would make a really great game.

    PS Hurley's comment when you snap out of a flashback is worth the price of admission for the die-hard fan.    … Expand

    A very poor take on the show. Some of the characters personalities, most notably Kate, are nothing like they should be. All the references to events in the show feel very contrived and forced. A lot of the game doesn't even make sense, at one stage you are given a dharma lighter from Michael, yet at this stage of the story they haven't even come in to contact with dharma.     Solid Gem for people who actually liked the tv-show. It was never perfect and had annoying stuff, but it also had good stuff.

    Let's be honest, you could have expected better. But in general, I really liked this game.

    One gets the feeling that the show's creators are trying to wash their hands of Via Domus, awkwardly placed as it is in the series' now-sprawling legendarium. But above and beyond that, fans should approach it as a lark; it's not very accomplished as a game.
