    Very good game, not too difficult, the gameplay easily flows.
    Nice graphics, some of the areas are beautiful. Length OK, can only recommend.
    Hard to find good old school adventure these days, so I am glad I played this one.

    Wow, this game is really NOT finished yet. The animations are bad, the whole presentation is bad and there are plot holes till the end. But there is potential: The graphic's (in-game) are mostly nice and parts of the story do their job in being entertaining. All in all this is a HUGE disappointment. Lost Horizon 1 was just a superb adventure game and now we have this piece of crap.Wow, this game is really NOT finished yet. The animations are bad, the whole presentation is bad and there are plot holes till the end. But there is potential: The graphic's (in-game) are mostly nice and parts of the story do their job in being entertaining. All in all this is a HUGE disappointment.     It's a classic graphic aventure game with superb visuals. The puzzles are easy and the game a lot of playable. I'm not finished the game yet but i'm enjoying it

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. After how much I enjoyed the first game I wanted to like this game, I really did.

    Unfortunately the "Indiana Jones" atmospheric vibe of the first one that I enjoyed so much became even more than just a 'vibe'.

    This game is basically a mockbuster version of what you'd get if "Last Crusade" (Surprise the German woman who you trusted throughout the game is working for the bad guys! You have to solve the puzzles at the mythical location in order to save the life of your family member who the bad guys put in deathly peril!) and "Kingdom of the Crystal Skull" (Hey, your adventurer has a kid with a woman from the previous adventure! Woman with a severe haircut and is working with the Russians is the leader of the villains!)

    In addition, the story feels incredibly incomplete with an ending that basically amounts to a 45 second unvoiced cutscene that doesn't wrap up any of the outstanding plot points (Where's Kim? You changed history, so what effect does that have on things exactly?)    … Expand

    Foi a primeira vez que eu vi um jogo regredir tanto em gameplay, história e até em gráficos, em uma sequencia.
    Na parte gráfica houve um certo downgrade nos personagens com relação ao 1, A Gwen é muito feia, um modelo de personagem muito mal feito. O fenton é impossivel lembrar dele do primeiro, é irreconhecivel.

    Com relação ao gameplay, continua fluido, porém nesse o personagem deu umas travadas ao andar que no 1 não tive em nenhuma ocasião. Além disso os puzzles são muito mais faceis. Os que trazem mais desafio é mais porque não faz nenhum sentido do que foi engenhoso.
    Por ultimo e não menos importante, a história é muito sem gracinha nesse jogo. O Fenton perdeu TODO o carisma dele, os dialogos não tem mais nenhuma graça. Claramente se inspiraram no indiana jones nesse jogo, principalmente no que envolve o final, mas só lembra a história mesmo. Não chega aos pés da qualidade do filme e nem do primeiro jogo.
    Como bonus não existe nenhuma referencia a primeira história, então recomendo ficar somente com o 1 e esquecer esse jogo.    … Expand

    Despite embarking with a sound plan for another beautiful globe-trotting adventure, Lost Horizon 2 suffers from weary execution and assorted technical limitations, eventually losing the way to greatness and ending up in the land of the average.

    While the original Lost Horizon was the closest thing we have seen in an adventure genre "Indiana Jones" revival, its sequel falls short on so many fronts that it is difficult to recommend at its exorbitant launch price.

    It desperately tries to reproduce some of its predecessor's elements that led to success, but fails miserably. There's a very specific and suitable word that captures it: Disappointment.
