Aug 26, 2022Lost Epic enthralled me for many hours as I explored the vast areas. The fights are fun and fast, the bosses interesting, and the world beautiful. There are a few hiccups in terms of overall quality, but I enjoyed my time with it and strongly suggested that anyone who enjoys Metroid-souls-like games give it a try.

Aug 16, 2022There is nothing that can entice and stimulate the player to face the twenty hours needed to complete the full-bodied adventure of Lost Epic. The component that works best, the action formula, is also the thinnest, and certainly not enough to bear the weight of the whole experience. The other areas of the gameplay unfortunately only weigh it down further, mechanical accomplices not well implemented and useless trappings. In short, these are the reasons why this 2D action rpg has been trapped in the limbo of mediocrity.

Aug 2, 2022While Lost Epic sports nice visuals, a great soundtrack and engaging, challenging gameplay, it’s also incredibly tedious to progress with many of its mechanics left unexplained, and a story that is incredibly dull and forgettable.
