    Refunded this game on Steam and I recommend you do the same, too. Boring, repetitive. Dialogue is of the most poorly written I have ever experienced. It’s like a super cheesy mobile game that everyone will forget about after a month of its release.

    queues, queues, queues. server maintenance at prime time. laggy in a location with multiple ppl. Sometimes you cannot even get into a queue because 'too many ppl trying'. No character transfer, locked servers, you will never play with friends, no language servers on EU. That's all the content of this game

    Trash queue simulator. They say they gonna upgrade the servers so the queue is less but now the queue is doubled im now at 25k which i have to wait about 6hours for at 19:30. What a joke trash companay amazon is..

    hm Steam says i played the Game 22 hours.
    Sad thing is, 16h of that time I spent in queue.
    The Game is ok to play, but not worth the Hype.

    Holy crap. First they delay the launch and I couldnt play despite buying a founder pack, now I get 10k people in queue. Should I leave my pc on in the morning so I can play after work? It's a joke. 2 days in a row I couldnt play. If it doesnt get better tomorrow then screw it, I;m outta here.

    If you like JRPGS, this game is for you. If you were expecting maybe something between Path of Exile / WoW - dont bother installing this game.
    It looks very, very bad. Cutsenes and some effects are pretty, but after 1 pretty moment, era of gaming from 1980 hits you in the face. I am purposely lowering the score for balancing reviews.

    Compré el pack de fundador para poder jugar antes, pues bien, de tres dia solo pude jugar uno debido a las esperas de los servidores, una vez que lo pusieron gratuito las colas para acceder al servidor son de cuatro horas mínimo.     i could go on for hours how bad an akward the characters and the story are, but i think i made my point.
    Lets go to the gameplay: Well, you have a nice set of very different classes and a s*itload of nice different named skills, and spells etc.
    BUT they all do the same. just exploding and flashing while doing ae-damage to hordes of nameless, faceless, purposeless enemies while you literally cant die, as long as you have your keyboard plugged into your pc.. why tf would they even implemented cooldows and "mana" when you dont have to manage that anyway. Just smash the buttons like you feel and switch your brain off. There is not even one single spell/skill that buffs another action or does anything to make a difference to this endless stupidity. Its like a cellphone game.
    But hey, you can fine-tune the s*it out of the face of your character before you start the game. Makes sense in an iso-view game with fixed camera perspective, lol. And dont get me started with that point/click movement.

    P2W or Grind to win game. It forces me to play multiple characters just to funnel resources to my main. Lost ark doesnt repect players time.

    I've already put solid 30 hours into it, but the cash shop and clear p2w there was just very off putting. I know I know a free to play game they have to make money right, well there are plenty of games out there that are free to play and make plenty of money without impacting the gameplay balance and experience.     You might argue that the systems are reasonable for f2p, but you just need to look at the engravings system to see it's not the case.

    Anyway I decided to give it a try with Amazon at the helm since they mentioned they'll change it for western release by cutting down on the monetization, but after playing it for a bit it's definitely not the case, nothing has changed from RU to this version that I could see.

    Straight of the bat this game feels like the typical free mobile game by showering you with different currencies, items, systems and notifications all over the screen every time you do something, there are like 5 screens where you're claiming one box or another getting some new currency. Might be due to the fact that the game has been out for a few years but it still felt like a super cheap mobile game.

    The combat is okay, I would not call it great, it's made to feel impactful and it achieves that very well, but every hit you do staggers the groups of enemies you're fighting making it feel a bit boring. The best part are the bosses this is where it shines and it was the only thing that kept me playing trough tier 1 and 2.

    But that would not be enough for me to overlook the hyper aggressive p2w monetization of the game, as it's everything bad with a lot of today's games.

    The whole game has this design where it's trying to keep you playing one way or another by showering you with crumbs of loot, and making you engage with RNG systems, it just leaves a bad taste even though the game looks and plays very nice.    … Expand

    Very poor first time user experience, well UX in general for that matter. Unsatisfying character progression, you start with too many abilities, which all feel the same, and you run across the zone to kill 4 mobs that die instantly. At least it's free.

But while you in queue I highly recommend to do a research on official forum to choose the right server, because game don't show you server language and some servers are already occupied by some language communities. And still this western version don't have full content from original. I think this game will die after some month so better register onAnother queue simulator from Amazon. There’s nothing original to see here, it’s like a game that was designed by a committee of bean counters who have never actually played a game, they just know which games made money so they threw them all into a blender and this is the crap that came out.     Honestly the atmosphere is so bland it is baffling. Over-the-top animations which at first seems very nice but ends up being repetitive quickly. Insanely easy gameplay all the way through leveling, It seems like it wants to do everything and just ends up being so forgettable.

    Even with this, it was entertaining enough, but I paused to realize the “combat” is maybe 5% of the game.

    I have four level 50 characters, and you honestly spend the majority of your time sailing around on your boat to small islands full of mindless story quests like: “kill 10 rats” just to collect the materials to boost your items to overcome whatever ridiculous gate you have placed on your character. Once you hit the arbitrary ilevel, you unlock some more story quests in which you ride your mount from point A, to point B, and press your “G” key to ignore them. All until you find yourself in the same position again—grindfest.

    The “raid” and various “dungeon” content lasts around 10 minutes each, and you are back to sailing around for rat killing.

    There are a lot of positives about the game, but I definitely cant’t suggest it if you are a traditional aarpg lover. This is an mmo, and an extremely grindy one.

    Don’t let the flashy character skills and combat persuade you…it’s very rare in this free to play, let down. 5/10. Could be an 8 with some actual decent combat and less grind.    … Expand

    Obviamente que no os recomiendo meter ni un solo euro dentro del juego, porque no se lo merecen, hasta los jugadores que tuvimos que pagar para jugar antes de tiempo hemos tenido que jodernos con un contenido no admite devolución porque "OTRA VEZ" a Amazon o la empresa encargada de los servidores no le ha salido de las narices hacer las matematicas de que si tienes a los cuatro streamer top moñecos de turno entrando a los mismos servidores vas a tener problemas, pero es que va mas lejos de eso.

    El juego esta mal animado, la calidad de los personajes se reduce automaticamente una vez creado el personaje, no es ilusión óptica vuestra pasa de verdad y es pasable, pero es que los monos todavía van y ponen escenas especificas que te acercan a los personajes y en las que las animaciones que están incompletas igual que las lineas de audio de los personajes no principales, te hacen sentir que estás viendo "WARCRAFT III: REFORGED" pero es peor porque te estaban vendiendo un juego tipo diablo 3 pero mejor, y bueno en cierto modo tenían razón, es como diablo 3, los servidores funcionan como tu amigo Paco cuando se ha pasado de la tercera copa.

    Literalmente la historia funciona y esta bien porque se han limitado a copiar y copiar cosas, pero una tras otra es que a lo poco que vengas de jugar otros juegos MMorpg te ves todas las copias y referencias que han metido de otros juegos. ¿Qué aún así te puede gustar el juego? Obvio, es fácil de jugar, es entretenido y todo lo que quieras y puedes echar unos jajas con tus amigos y te pueden gustar detalles de la historia.

    PERO TODO ESO SERÁ SI NO TE COMES UNA COLA DE 19.000 PERSONAS O 6.000 lo que viene a ser ¿Qué? 2 a 6 horas de espera y cuidado, que como el juego se cuelgue, te quedes afk, o pases mas de 20 minutos en un sitio leyendo habilidades y mecanicas propias del juego y el servidor de por hecho que no estás te vas para la calle a llorar un rato. Y dirás "A ver pero lo de los servidores es temporal, el juego es nuevo aunque use mecanicas del año de matusalem, ya lo solucionaran todo que acaba de salir"

    Bueno el tema es que retrasaron el lanzamiento free to play, le quitaron un día entero a la gente que pago para preparar la salida del free to play y aún así, la ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, y llevan diciendo de que van a solucionarlo y meter servidores desde que ha salido, tirando los servidores abajo por mantenimiento para "parches" que no solucionan nada.

    Y ♥♥♥♥♥ sabéis que me esta hasta dando pereza escribir todo este texto pero seguramente si te lo estás leyendo es porque estas en la cola esperando, como yo toda esta mañana, para que se caiga el servidor y me tenga que comer otra cola de 6 horas.

People who suit their tastes are expected to be very immersed and raise their levels. I am very interested in the story of each NPC in this game. And I'm looking forward to the end content.

    I rated 3 because of the difficulty lvl. There is 0 skill required and because of that the game gets boring fast. Ppl say the end game is good but then you have to waste 15-20hours time playing a boring click game. If only the mobs had some more health/diffuculty because the gameplay is fluid, combat is nice    The queues and stuff will be better soon enough so this review is not about that.

    Amazon is not giving a crap about EU players, out of 56 hours of game time I queued for 30+ hours and played less than 26... And after a 8 hours of queue disconnects me for server errors.
    Literally unplayable.
    Please do not buy, and do not download till they fix the servers, because the game does not exists till then.

There are no elaborate quests like other games in the genre. You have to go from A to B, but you never take more than 20 seconds to complete the quests. This game is a joke.     In regards to NA launch, it was the smoothest mmo launch i've ever experienced, got in instantly on early-access and there was a slight delay on official launch of a couple hours. i haven't experienced any kind of lag, runs buttery smooth on max settings even if I keep my zbrush/maya/browsers streaming vids open in the background. Party system works great, but I wish it would do more to keep parties together when in the same area, but easy enough to swap channels when needed.
    There's a ton of depth to the game, you're not going to learn everything you need to in a day, this isn't your grandma's diablo.
    The dungeons/raids are the shining point of this games PvE. Super fun to go through with friends or solo.
    I haven't really spent too much time yet doing pvp, so i can't comment too much on that yet, but from what I've experienced I'm pretty confident that I'm going to enjoy it a lot.
    I really don't get the hate for this game on launch, I guess NA launch was better than some other regions. This is a hack-n-slasher's dream through and through. If you grew up with diablo 1, 2, and all the other hack-n-slashers of the early 2000's, you're likely going to have a blast with this game. Don't listen to all the child-tantrum 0 reviews, try it out if you're on the fence (it's free after all) and form your own opinion.     As much as I want to recommend this game, I just can't, personally I find it totally unplayable, this perspective together with the mouse movement is all very confusing and not enjoyable, I can see why people could like it, but for me it's a 0 and can't recommend it all if you are used to a 3D perspective

    Some genius decided to open overcrowded founder servers for f2p crowd. If you want to play, you are in 16k queue and wait 3h for connection. After that you get random disconnect. Servers are part of the game, so it is a 0

    Feels like a mobile game for PC. Retail on steroids, everything is super streamlined and arcady, loot and something to click around every corner, immersion doesnt exist, and most of all not really multiplayer. I hate its guts.

    edit: If you want a SOLO ACTION game then its quite alright, but i m pissed thats its neither an arpg nor an mmo, not even close

    There's really no sugar coating these facts: You can either accept this game the way it is or you don't. Sadly I couldn't, but I hope the people who do are having a blast.

    If you are used to MMO with proper rotations in depth mechanisms, you just pass on Lost Ark.
    The combats are especially messy, and it is targeted to Asian audience, who loves grinding. Anything to do in Lost Ark takes forever, and you spend more time waiting than playing (shipping from island to island). There is no real story, and I skipped every single dialogue in this game.

    Playing with friends makes no sense, as the campaign is so easy and straightforward that teaming up will just slow you (there are little combat, and most missions are, again, just to get from A to B for the most part)

    When you reach endgame you´ll be overwhelmed by the amount of different kinds of "tokens" to purchase different kind of stuff. And the renowned endgame content wich you can finally play with friends, will be gated. 2 tries per day.

    That being said endgame consist on running the dungeons (just 2 times per day/characters, encouraging you to make alts) to farm gear and materials to craft gear wich will enable you to get to next tier dungeon. Sounds somehow ok-ish, until you find your progression artificially locked by daily chances or whatever.

    And again, the annoying missions persist as dailies: run from A to B then go to C and talk to D wich will send you E.

    So overall: its your regular F2P MMO, now with isometric view.

The cash shop consists of primarily quality of life upgrades and skins/mounts, but there is ways of directly using the cash shop to gain power in a way that some may call pay to win. The Devs at this time have stated that they will be watching the cash shop and opinions of the players closely, and making changes if they deem it necessary, even if it cuts into their shop revenue. This statement is backed up by the Dev's track record of having done this in the past in other regions.

    Overall I am excited to see where this game heads, and in its current state could continue to be one of if not the current most popular MMO in the west, having surpassed 1.3M Concurrent players on steam, if only 20% of the peak players are retained in the game, that means it would still have a healthy player base of over 250k players. The story in this game is a click fest, every npc that talks to you just has a lot of expository dialog that doesnt bring anything new to the table or anything remotely interesting, and if you skip every line of dialog you will still understand what is going on because of how many times you have seen this story in other games. Same old, same old.

    2nd Gameplay
    It looks fun, it even feels fun. You can tell that a lot of work got put into the development of the gameplay but ends up being extremely repetetive and mindless. Sure, if you play all the way through to the endgame, you will find some challenges along the way that make it worth your while, but you'll have to deal with all the mindless content and brainless combat for the majority of the game.

    3rd Gameplay + Story
    By "mindless content" I mean all of the quests from basically every NPC that go along the lines of "Go there and kill that for me", "Go there and get that thing for me (and kill that thing for me while you are there)", "Go there and take this thing to that guy for me (because even though there is magic I still need the help of someone I met 5 minutes ago)". It's just tedious and extremely repetetive

    3rd The Grind
    As any MMORPG, there is a grind fest as well. I don't mind grinding, as long as the Developers find a way to make it fun and entertaining in some aspect. THIS IS NOT THE CASE. It's just, again, mindless and the loot that you get as a reward isn't even that rewarding.

    4th - Multiplayer
    I didn't explore every aspect of this, but me and my friend did try to do a dungeon together and as soon as we tried this happened: He played an extra 40 minutes than me so, for some insane reason the game required us to be at the same quest to enter the dungeon together. This means that if I later on I want to help another friend level up, I can't. They have to do all that excuse for content by themselves because the developers seem to think that the experience alone is rewarding.
    To be honest, I only lasted as long as I did playing this game because I was with a friend otherwise I would've uninstalled it after an hour or so.

    5th - Conclusion
    It's a shell of what appears to be a beautiful world design, when in reality it is the most generic game of the year so far with a lot of story that doesn't mean anything and gameplay that will turn your brain into a vegetable. I gave it a 2 for effort and for just existing.    … Expand

    I'm hooked, I'm out $0 and I could not be happier with the situation. Best game I've played in at least a year. I've tried pretty much every MMO (beyond the utter garbage) for the past 15 years. Not since first starting EVE have I had this much fun with an online game. Honestly I cannot imagine giving this game a zero for any reason other than being salty. Even if it's not your thing, it's at least a 5 if not a 6. If you like MMOs, I think you'll like Lost Ark.

    The races suck. Each class being locked to a single race is honestly garbage. Want to be a Mage? Well, you HAVE to be a female elf so you can play as a Sorceress then, tough if you wanted to play as any other race or as a male character. And if you thought the World of Warcraft or Final Fantasy XIV character creators were limited, they look like PSO2 next to Lost Ark's customization.

    The story is a joke. It's not even good for a laugh, it's the most soulless basic fantasy storytelling I've ever seen in anything. Before the game EVEN STARTS you're given a backstory where your character has already killed tons of important enemies presented as a slideshow. The fact that I've heard people compare this game's story to RPGs like Final Fantasy XIV or The Witcher is ludicrous.

    I will say the game LOOKS very nice though, if you're into a game for just the graphics this is probably the best MMO on the market visually currently. There are a few graphical bugs though, mainly to do with hair (longer hairstyles clip a LOT with armor too), and some of the running animations are almost comedically bad.

    The endgame is also, from what I've seen of it, incredibly grind-y. Maybe that's your thing. But personally I think I'm going to pass. If you're a casual player MMOs like FFXIV or PSO2 are probably worth your time more.    … Expand

    Dont understand the negative reviews here. This game is by far one of the best games ive played in 10 years. Yes there are some server issues, but the combat is really amazing and has dept. Its not just pressing 4 buttons like people say, if that is what you are doing you clearly lack skill.

    Und es wird von Tag zu Tag schlimmer. Jetzt bekommt man nicht mal mehr die Serverauswahlseite angezeigt und das Spiel beendet sich selbst. Der Rest war in der Warteschleife. Macht keinen Spaß!
    Und es wird von Tag zu Tag schlimmer. Jetzt bekommt man nicht mal mehr die Serverauswahlseite angezeigt und das Spiel beendet sich selbst.     Combat moves feel flawless and flashy skills are candy to my eyes. However the story line is full of cliche and MSQ takes too long. Once you get passed that the guardian raids and abyssal dungeons are a ton of fun

    Constant server issues, hour long queues and random disconnects.
    Honestly feels like a disguised mobile cashgrab.
    Buggy and poorly translated text and UI.
    "The fun part" starts at level 50 but getting there is incredibly tedious.
    Endgame starts with info-dumps about many, many overly convoluted systems.
    Cherry on top is the aggressive pay-to-win cash shop.

    Edit : My opinion on the game stands, but Amazon Games is one of the worst gaming companies ever.

    I think this will go down in history as one of the best games of all times, at least in its genre.

    There's just so much hard and good work in this game, combining the best of WoW and Diablo with its own personnal touch.

    the skills are great, the gameplay is excellent, the cinematics are pretty good, the only missing part for now is the servers.

    I think the real fun of this game is raid. The story is like that, but if you endure the story and go on a raid, you can see the real charm of this game. I'm doing that right now.

Dungeons absurdamente trabalhadas com cenas absurdas, os boss tem vida se movimentam muito e tem uma grande variação de habilidades, o lvl up não é dificil e a gameplay não é enjoativa. O pvp e o pve são perfeitos, pvp totalmente balanceado, com uma grande variação de personagens e skills, e o pve lotado de conteúdo e dungeons para fazerUm dos melhores jogos de rpg que já joguei na vida. The plot is incredibly straight forward and easy to follow with some hilarious B-listed voice acting. It's pretty monotonous. Overall though, the game isn't as deep as Path of Exile in terms of builds, it's more of a Brawler MMO than a dungeon crawler and sometimes that's OK- not everything needs to be lifelonging progression. I notice the people complaining are ones that spends dozens of hours a day grinding and build crafting for years at a time, which is an opinion you shouldn't take seriously because if the game doesn't cater to their insurmountable free time, it's deemed garbage. Which is a terribly imbalanced viewpoint. Just try it, it's free and judge for yourself.    … Expand

    The real fun of this game is the Abyss Dungeon and Corps Commander Raid. The story section can be like or disliked, but everyone will enjoy it when Argos Valtan is released.

    There are interesting battles, beautiful music, and great directing dungeons in this game. It is a very large game and I can feel the sincerity of developers.

    Interesting character classes, enticing atmosphere, visual attractiveness, satisfying combat – Lost Ark hit the mark on everything one expects from a good action RPG. I could feel my character’s power from the very first step in this interesting, varied world, and saw potential for one of the best Diablo’s cousins in years. It’s a pity that the MMO aspects of Lost Ark forced some compromises and simply get in the way of enjoying the satisfying Diablo-esque side.

    Lost Ark is literally great enough to re-ignite my passion for MMORPGs after 15 years. That’s not a joke, and it’s not something that I’m just saying for the sake of this review. Because of that, I don’t know that I should be reviewing this game so much as I should be thanking it. I’m incredibly happy to have finally found an MMO that I can look forward to playing every day, and, if you’re willing to take my word at all, I think you’ll find that you’ll end up the same way once you sit down with this game for yourself.
