    Got this game recommended as a replacement for Diablo 4. As in progression, it is miles better than Diablo4, but that's pretty low of a bar to cross. The pay to progress aspect is so strong in this game, I wouldn't recommend any one in the right mind play this game. You will be constantly stressed and given a way out by the cash shop they flash constantly flash at you. Some vids notesGot this game recommended as a replacement for Diablo 4.     Todo muy bien, pero..

    Hombre que este es un juegaso, la historia va bien, bastante bien de hecho (tampoco es la mejor historia del año pero para un MMO bien). Graficamente es muy bonito, me encanta los detalles en los jefes y lo bien definido de cada personaje con los que me tope en la historia. Lo que si es que almenos me pasa con la clase que uso, que veo que todas las espadas que    Todo muy bien, pero..

    Hombre que este es un juegaso, la historia va bien, bastante bien de hecho (tampoco es la mejor historia del año pero para un MMO bien).
    Graficamente es muy bonito, me encanta los detalles en los jefes y lo bien definido de cada personaje con los que me tope en la historia. Lo que si es que almenos me pasa con la clase que uso, que veo que todas las espadas que voy encontrando son basicamente la misma (hablando de su forma) y eso aveces le baja un punto, haber pordrian ponerse y hacer 1000 diseños de espadas, que tampoco se pide la gran cosa.
    A nivel gameplay creo que esta muy bien, bien organizado aunque tienes que aprender a jugar y aveces es complicado es completamente entendible y no es dificil realmente. Me encanta tambien que cada enemigo tenga sus ataques y caracteristicas, ni hablar de los jefes que cambian sus patrones a medida que van perdiendo vida, realmente una pasada. Este es el lugar donde mas desarrollare por que hay que tocar muchos puntos como los anteriores que me parecen los mas primordiales, tambien cabe destacar que solo use la clase Berseker (con espada) y que quedan otras tantas por probar y ver, sin contar las builds que se pueden armar y demas. Realmente es un juego muy interesante y que cada jugador puede moldear a su gusto. Los dungeon, me gustaron mucho la verdad, tanto los del modo historia como los secretos (no recuerdo el nombre que le dan en el juego) y recomiendo hacerlos en dificil, no en normal, si son complicados aveces pero la recompensa es bastante buena siempre. Para cerrar la parte de gameplay veo que muchos se quejan del grindeo, y bueno es un MMO si no te gusta grindear creo que te equivocaste de genero no?
    En cuanto a optimizacion creo que esta bastante bien, el juego es fluido y no hay practicamente lag, lo cual se agradece muchisimo en estos juegos (eso que mi Internet es 3er mundista) aunque si se toma algo de tiempo en entrar al juego lo cual se soluciona iniciando y haciendo algo mientras carga (ir a el baño, llenar el vaso con coca o algo asi) tampoco es que tarde media hora pero aveces se toma unos minutos.

    En conclusión, creo que es un buen juego y aun teniendo una PC no tan buena si les gustan los MMO tendrian que darle a este una oportunidad, es gratis y a mi almenos me gusto mucho.    … Expand

    It's a good game with horrible P2W systems. Pretty much what you would expect from every MMO these days. If you want to RMT or P2W through the store, this game can be really fun. If you want to be a F2P player like I was, you are too late and you will always be behind. Go try a newly released MMO instead.

    Has multiple layers of P2W elements designed to force you to pay up, or else you cannot even access the end-game contents.

    Only other option is to grind on 6 characters like it's your 2nd job. Oh wait, no, like it's your only job.

    Stay far, far away from this garbage game.

    1-Los que buscan un juego para jugar con amigos: aquí literalmente es para frikis solo player. de las 41hrs no encuentro contenido para jugar con mis amigos. matar enemigos te da 1 de EXP. a lo mejor para completar tomos del aventurero pero aun así no hay dungeons mas que los que te van abriendo del quest.... estoy esperando el lvl50 para ver si puedo jugar los dungeons con mis amigos... pero me estoy cansando de tanto quest.
    2- Los que no disfrutan historias lineales: A ver yo la verdad solo que son 7 arcas lo demás me lo voy SKIP SKIP SKIP G G G G G dame mi EXP Nuevo mapa y repetitivamente lo mismo hasta asumo que llegar al lvl 50.
    3- hasta el momento el juego me ha presentado 0 dificultad todo se pasa rapido y sin mucha complicacion ( entiendo que porque no estoy en el endgame que seguro comienza lo hardcore.
    4- Si nunca has jugado un MMORPG, no te recomiendo este juego es un nuevo estilo al genero a lo que tradicionalmente es.

    LO RECOMIENDO PARA:
    1- SOLO PLAYERS, si tienes tiempo de sobra sin mujer e hijos ni trabajo muy bien. pero los que tenemos 2-3 horas al día para jugar meh.
    2- Si te gusta "Diablo, Path of exile" etc etc te va gustar.

    Dato curioso: Si ven los Achievements apenas el 1% ha llegado al lvl 10 en tala y pesca ( cosa que hice en un par de horas...). asi que ahorita es puro hype.

    Aspectos positivos:
    Extrañamente me gusta el sistema de farming lo han echo genial dan ganas de pasar leveliando las skills de Tala, Mineria, Caceria, Runas etc.
    Aspecto negativo:
    Nuevamente el echo que tus primeras 50 horas no las vas a jugar con amigos y si es un MMO pero solo ves players haciendo los mismos quest en el server pero nada relevante mas que uno que otro random boss de algún mapa cercano.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. С открытия игра была великолепна. Хорошая графика, интересный сюжет. Но сейчас это просто трата времени. PVP просто не сбалансировано, персонажи сильно отличаются по урону. Сами игроки испортили игру. Те, кто уже имеет всё, завышают цены на товары в аукционе. В итоге новичку очень трудно как-то собрать себе хорошего персонажа, но фишка в том, что без хорошего персонажа тебя не будут брать в рейды. Даже если ты знаешь все механики босса, но у тебя нет полного сета, или плохо с гравировками, или самоцветов нет, или колоды нет, тебя не возьмут! А возьмут собранного человека, который так же не мог зайти в рейд и покупал проходки. В итоге человек не знает, что вообще делать и его берут с собранным персонажем, а тебя нет, потому что ты не собрал персонажа. И можно конечно покупать проходки этих рейдов и забыть про этот факт, но это же RPG, где совместная игра? В проходках? Пока ты чай пьёшь, а кто-то за тебя побеждает босса? Ещё игра очень зависима от твинов, ведь от них весь основной заработок ресурсов и голды. И по моему, это ужасно! В общем: старички ставят цены как хотят, а точнее высокую (есть гравировки 4-го уровня по 5к голды, их надо 20. И ГДЕ брать новичку 100к голды только на одну граву? Это несколько месяцев фарма без твинов... Ещё вторая гравировка и бижутерия в основном покупается, потому что рандом здесь искусственно занижен ненужными гравировками. Так же проводки покупаются, ибо без собранного персонажа тебя просто не возьмут. Старички играют на куче твинов, тем самым делают проводки и фармят ещё больше голды, чтобы купить дорогую вещь у такого же старичка, это по мне уже никуда не лезет. В итоге: игру крайне не советую, если у вас нет 7 друзей, готовых пойти с вами в игру надолго, с ними и будете проходить активности.… Expand

    Jogo bonito, muitas coisas para fazer, jogabilidade incrível (na minha opinião a melhor dos MMO's atuais), porém com muita microtransação e "moedas"do jogo que poderiam ser substituidas facilmente por outras já existentes.

    After playing it for around 600+ hours I can say that I can't recommend the game to anyone.
    Combat is really good, every character feels good to play.
    Grinding is the worst and wont be fixed ever together with honing which is upgrading your equipment. It would take you 16 hrs per day with 8 char so that you can have a chance to succeed in a upgrade cause since it's a korean mmo and the    After playing it for around 600+ hours I can say that I can't recommend the game to anyone.

Ich habe in 2 Monaten fast 250 Stunden reingesteckt und das Spiel ist F2P! Man muss kein Echtgeld ausgeben, und wenn man einen 50ziger investiert, ist esUnglaublich, wie viel Liebe in diesem Spiel steckt. Ich kann nicht verstehen, wie das Game so eine schlechte User Wertung bekommen kann... aber bei MMORPGS kommt direkt der Hate bei Queue Times oder wenn es "keinen Content" mehr gibt.     Lost Ark is a good game to play long term if you:
    1. Enjoy **VERY** mechanics focused difficult multi player weekly content as your main content to work towards.
    2. Can form a static group to do said content with each week. 3. Are addicted to making alts in the games you play. 4. Have lots of time to spend playing to grind for equipment enhancement/honing materials, or are willing to    Lost Ark is a good game to play long term if you:
    1. Enjoy **VERY** mechanics focused difficult multi player weekly content as your main content to work towards.

    3. Are addicted to making alts in the games you play.
    4. Have lots of time to spend playing to grind for equipment enhancement/honing materials, or are willing to spend real money for them.

    If the first two of those four things in particular do not match up with you, or what you want from the games you play, it can impact your enjoyment so significantly, it would be best to not even bother downloading the game. Honestly, in many ways this kinda felt like an isometric version of Blade & Soul, as both are built around difficult mechanics heavy weekly group content, with dull daily grind content, and have a toxic elitist player base.

    In regards to number one, they have mechanics during fights where you stop fighting, to execute a mini-game, like a typing test, or leading a thing, to another thing, under certain conditions. These sort of "mechanics" mostly come up in the later weekly content, and to an increasing degree with each new piece of such content they add.

    Some added notes:
    A. The game could really use some form of solo training tool for its weekly raid/dungeon content, as it can do a poor job of relaying how you should handle mechanics. This is why there's so many detailed guides on how to do things, but really the game should be teaching people how to play, it's not the community's job to do that. This is also why you need a static group to do that content with, it just gets more demanding over time, complete with raid wipe mechanics if even one person made a mistake, so what should be a twenty minute piece of content, instead can take hours to complete with teams of random players.

    B. Because of how mechanics heavy things are, explaining things can take a lot of time, so people don't want to do that, and just expect others to know how to do everything. As a result, it's not long after new content is added before about all you see in the party finder is people looking to do fast runs with experienced players, or just selling the service of AFK carrying people through content, as many try doing that as their way of getting loot from them.

    C. If you think you can power up your character, then face roll everything, you're very wrong. There are plenty of mechanics that will kill you, and maybe even the whole raid if even one person screws up, no matter how geared people are.

    D. Most every active player at the time this was written has at least one character with a gear score of at least 1415. Due to this there's a fair amount of content below that which is basically dead now, particularly guardian raids, field/world bosses, chaos gates, and ghost ships. Except for guardian raids, they do not scale with the number of people there, so you just can't expect to do them solo, and can be wasting your time even trying. Some higher level people will do the lower weekly dungeons for a chance at card drops, which results in you just chasing them around as they insta kill everything, even bosses. Then a lot of the people queuing up for the sub 1415 guardian raids these days, honestly suck, and tend to be rather under geared. End result is your experience in multiplayer content below 1415 can be pretty poor, meaning you'll be playing mostly solo for a long time.

    E. The daily resource grind content, gets really boring/annoying, pretty quickly, and there's a fair number of things seemingly added solely to waste time.

    F. If you're more of a solo player, don't bother. While the daily grind content is a mostly solo experience, the weekly raid content can only be even attempted with a group. There is just no recurring solo content that will be able to keep your attention, or is worth working towards.

    G. The standard equipment upgrade system has a type of pity system, so if you fail enough times, it will just give you the upgrade. Basically if you stick with it, you can have your entire account stuffed full of characters with their equipment at a high, to max upgrade level.

    H. A good chunk of the player base is pretty toxic, and elitist, or just want to be carried through everything, and can't be bothered to look things up on their own before hand, as they expect people to explain mechanics to them, and so on.    … Expand

    If you are used to MMO with proper rotations in depth mechanisms, you just pass on Lost Ark.
    The combats are especially messy, and it is targeted to Asian audience, who loves grinding. Anything to do in Lost Ark takes forever, and you spend more time waiting than playing (shipping from island to island). There is no real story, and I skipped every single dialogue in this game.

    A free-to-play massively multiplayer online action role playing game (MMOARPG) that released in the east in 2019. Through a partnership with developers and Amazon, a western release was put into the works and came out last month with a huge success.
    To start because it will be brought up to anyone who talks about Lost Ark. If it's free-to-play, does that mean it's pay-to-win? In short, Yes. If you are the type of gamer who wants to just throw your credit card on a game to rush to the end content, you can do that. But that will not take away the enjoyment of a game for others who choose to play without dropping loads of cash.
    With the build up to the launch of Lost Ark, I ignored the hype because I didn’t think it would interest me. Knowing most free to play games offer a little enjoyment but quickly fall off for other games. The day of launch I watched a couple streamers play the game and after a couple hours of background watching I figured I would tip the toe into the water…not knowing I would be sucked in and loving every minute.
    I describe Lost Ark as a melting pot. It takes game themes from across the field and implements them in a great way all into one game. The story is good and captivating through Arkesia. Big cinematic events happening through the quest lines of different lands. The world is beautiful and a treat to explore by land or sea.
    In combat you will easily be swarmed by monsters and feel the legion breathing down your neck but your skill set of flashy (anime-esque/diablo) moves will make you feel like an unstoppable badass. Blood and gore splattering across the detailed environments while you collect your loot.
    You want Monster Hunter? They have Guardian Raids. Solo or a party of 4 can take on a variety of difficult guardians that limit normal functions in the game. Limited amount of revives/items while also adding in a time constraint to push your team. Too many mistakes with accidental deaths and it’s a failure.
    Do you want challenging content? Abyssal dungeons/raids that focus more on a boss's mechanics than standing around swinging a sword aimlessly. For example the second dungeon has a necromancer and if you fail to collect the correct orbs, he will revive and receive an increase to his abilities making the fighter harder and harder. Kill him all you want, but if you can't communicate or understand a fight, you won’t survive.
    You want to make multiple characters because of all the neat classes? Lost Ark is extremely alt friendly. Separate from character level there is an accumulated roster level for your account. Most rewards will be gained on one character but forever shared with your roster. It's even designed for alternate characters to do daily or basic activities to funnel materials to your main character for vertical progression of gear.
    You want to fight other players? It has PVP combat that is designed to equalize gear and abilities when you enter into the arena. To balance players on a similar battlefield giving anyone a fighting chance.
    On the other spectrum of horizontal content, there is an abundance. Varies collection systems with separate reward tracks to keep any completionist busy. A card system that captures the feeling of opening random packs in a real life trading card game. I get side tracked more with horizontal systems. I forget I need to improve my gear and advance through the story. It's rare for a game to nail that to such a degree.
    The game isn't perfect by any definition. It has small flaws depending on the type of gamer you see yourself as. If racing to the end game is your cup of tea it will be a long process because upgrading your gear is a grind. Coming into the game new with no understanding of the systems is overwhelming. These systems came out slowly in Korea over the games development and with the western release we received them all at once. A little bit of reading or youtube videos can help give you the fundamentals of how the systems work.
    For what the game has delivered, I am hooked. I'm close to reaching over 200 hours with the game only being out for a little over a month. I'm in for the long haul and excited to see more classes and cosmetics to be released into the game. I still have story quests to work through and the collections are keeping me itching to find the next hidden seed of Arkesia.

    If you are a new player looking to start today then keep in mind that it will take some time before you reach what the community generally perceive as fun, good and relevant. To put things into perspective for you, I have invested at least 1-2 hours farming the daily content since a week after launch. I am still at least a week behind before being able to do Valtan Hardmode (newest content at this time).

    The game will occasionally give you items (powerpass) that will speed you through the processes of reaching end game. However, as for today there is nothing in place for new players to progress faster. With that in mind if you start today, do not expect to reach late end-game before a month at the very earliest, and that being extremely generous.

    This is the worst time for new players to start the game and in all likeliness the progress you would do now would be diminished by the fact of a buff/boost is imminent to come likely in mid or late July.    … Expand

    The only thing I could complain about is there is no way to transfer between servers. They could make tranfers expensive, but it should be possible.
    And the PvP is really bad, because it relies too heavily on stun effects and there's no fluidity - exactly the opposite of PvE. One side is always on the ground taking damage and the first good stun often decides a fight, because it's not possible to get back up before they're dead.
    Which is actually an incredible waste, because the PvP modes in the game could be really fun.

    Opinions can differ, but if you give this game 0/10, you have no appreciation for what makes a good game and should go back to Candy Crush.    … Expand

Class designs are all very good and I actually appreciate the way they incentivize alts. Some of the guardian raids have awful designs. 3/4 of them are good but about 1/4 are bad. The systems in this game are "normal" for Korean MMOs, but most of these systems are considered abhorrent and terrible design in western markets. None of them was modified. The game does not respect your time. It's time gated like a mobile game (which the vast majority of people hate) with an incentive to swipe and swipe hard. This leads to an incredible demand for RMT for gold, which results in a huge amount of botting. AGS has done nothing about any of this. The game's fundamental design benefits RMTers so significantly that you're encouraged to do it, and this makes botting incredibly lucrative. Combine that with the fact that there's no cost for botters to make accounts and we now have a market that doesn't work and the only reasonable method of progress: spending enormous amounts of time doing virtually nothing or RMTing to instantly reach end-game.
    - Combat is clearly inspired by several games yet maintaining only the bad and zero of the good of those games. The isometric camera lock removes player control, the severe restriction on player mobility and poorly implemented netcode and indicators with bosses that simply spam their abilities with no real opportunity for players to do anything leads to a boring means of doing content: just outgear it. In MH you don't have an isometric lock and you have a lot more control. In DS you don't have an isometric lock and you have a lot more control. In Diablo you have an isometric lock, but bosses do not spam attacks and are much more interactive. The end result is that combat in this game feels like you're standing around doing nothing until you're "allowed" to attack. Systems like stagger and destruction are not well explained and in some cases aren't even visible to you. This is lightyears away from every western release in the past 20 years. It's stuck in the early 2000s and it screams in your face just how incompetent the designers are.

    The only good parts of this game are the horizontal progression systems. When you reach 50, you're thousands of hours from a playable state. You need gems, tripods, and engravings along with a lot of grindily obtained skill points for your build to feel reasonably playable. Therefore combat feels terrible for thousands of hours. If you watch KR videos of people near 1600 ilvl, know you will spend the better part of years playing this game to reach that point. Until then, this game will feel like playing WoW or FFXIV as a level 10 player. And every tier you completely delete 100% of your gear requiring you to completely grind or buy all of it again to rebuild.

    This game has a lot of potential, but it feels like it's been held back by the utter incompetence of both Smilegate and AGS. It could easily charge a monthly fee and find itself amongst WoW and FFXIV if any care at all was paid to it, but it's very apparent that the only thing that matters is whales.    … Expand

El sonido tiene un nivel bastante medio, su música siendo un punto flojo y un doblaje que no cubre todas las líneas de diálogo del juego.     I like it so far 45 hours at the third Ark. I enjoy it in the single player aspect of it. You can even do the dungeons alone. There are many systems in place and quite frankly I don't get what half of them do in reality. The story is fairly good. The Mokoko part was funny and interesting. The arena part not so much. The sailing is kind of ok. The sand box (build your manor something) isn'tI like it so far 45 hours at the third Ark. I enjoy it in the single player aspect of it. You can even do the dungeons alone. The control with the gamepad was odd at first. I got used to it but, you still need a keyboard/mouse. The graphics are good. I give it 80%. It's a pretty deep MMORPG with some little flaws.

    Update 2: I did some multiplayer. I think the invite party doesn't work that well, but the matchmaking is extremely efficient. I find some odd decision tho, like putting a story element into a multiplayer level. Not especially smart, as it isolate a player while the other are going further the road. The sailing paths are also very basic and goes straight into danger. I have hit a big wall at 1000 level items. You have to go to 1100 to see the end of the plot, but the item honings fails so often, that you have no choice of grinding into the sub systems. Compound the fact that the boss have complex mechanics you have to learn, that make most of multiplayer toxic and difficult to learn. I have read it's even worst to get to 1320 level and tier 3 items. So, I am downgrading my review to 65%. It's not the worst of the free MMORPG, at least I was able to play for a long time.     Honing rates go down to less than 1% success rate, making you try to hit pity for guarranted success.
    Ability stone cutting is another RNG based system.
    Adventure island loots are also RNG based.
    Bots running around everywhere.
    Every little storage system requires crystals to unlock e.g resetting resistance points in skip skin, roster storage, card collection, etc.
    Absolutely unnecessary curreny called Pheons for Auction house which hampers gear trading.
    Due to all this RNG and low success rate you are stuck at particular ilvl threshold unable to progress, yet they are pushing content which 99.9% is not ready for with Argos update and Legion raids right around the corner.
    Support class are a pain to play as you will struggle to do single player content like Tower.
    Playing a ranged class has huge advantage over melee classes.
    Its essentially a P2W game.

    5. Another MMO with the same illness like EVERY MMO has. In late Dungeons, when one person in your party does something wrong, the whole party gets one shotted. So another MMo with brainless one shot mechanics.

    6. Graphics are horrible, really hardcore blurry. I just don't get it how a game in 2022 can be sooo brutally hard blurry.

    7. BETA Player got 40.000 Crystalls. Amazing that normal players got nothing at all and Founders like Silver got around 1.000 only and you have to pay for a founders pack. Wow

    8. You can not teleport from island to island. You need to use the damn ship to get there and when you are there, you can use the teleporters. Who makes these dumb mechanics?

    9. You can not do dungeons like the chaos dungeon to farm gear when you did not finish some specific main quests. Thanks to my number 4 I am stuck and can not farm for stronger gear.

    10. 80% of items are not tradeable not even for your own other character. Don't know why there is an account storage to share items with your alts when most items can not be transfered.

    11. Work Energy is for whole server. So if you spend all work energy with your berserker and plan to continue to farm for wood etc. with your paladin then you just can't because there is an Pay2Win Mechanic that stops you from doing this because your berserker worked hard and is tired so that means, you other character are tired as well by looking at your berserker how he is working hard BUT ofcourse you can buy work energy potions with gold / crystalls / real money.

    12. This games name could also be Bots Ark because there are more people using bots in this game than actuall people. It's really annoying. These bots are spamming in chat and are trying to sell gold to some people and they are even whispering you and the big problem with this is, market inflation and that you can block only 100 people and these bots are spamming the chat non stop and there is no end with this.

    13. Character Slots are really a pain. This game has many classes and it will get even more BUT I have only 6 character slots available and they are full already and ofcourse to get more, just spend some real money. This game is even more Pay2Win than a mobile game since you can get really rich as more alt character you have on a server.

    14. Crazy and greedy prices for some items in shop. They are really put a bundle of skins that is even censored for around 40€. bunch of greedy b...

    15. Maintenance timing is the worst. These people can't do even that right. I am on EU server and the Maintenance starts mostly during daytime where everyone woke up and is back from work. Why these people can not do atleast 1 thing right and do the maintenances at nights.

    16. Gender locked classes in 2022 with almost 0 character creation mechanics. You can not change the body type etc.

    I like the game. It's full of things to do and you never get bored. The endgame is literally when it all starts. Much content, cool classes, lot of gear enhancement tools, gems, dungeons, raids etc. The only thing I would have loved is an open-world instead of five maps per continent.

    I not gonna lie, since Black Desert and Blade and Soul I haven't found a really good MMO in a while. Lost Ark definitely has my interest. Gunner class is definitely the best looking and my favorite. wish there was more Character customization though. wanted my Character to look more devious but it didn't work out too well.

    this game is a work of art in the good sense of the phrase, it's obviously fun although its story seems a bit meh to me but what really matters is that you really like a game and it's also super addictive so much so that in 4 days I've already logged 20 hours. The game is very good, I recommend it and also the graphics are very good for the genre.

Do you have ANY interaction with that death? Nope - I mean, "who are you talking about? Someone died?". jesus Goddamn Christ.

    Sh*** is continuously thrown at you just to fill the HUGE VOID of LACK OF CONTENT - which is an absurd contradiction, because there is a LOT OF MECHANICS in Lost Ark, but, at the same time, it is so terribly written and shallow.

    I am pretty sure they got one of those "wheel of luck" filled with the names with a lot of games - Diablo, Path of Exile, Ragnarok, Starcraft etc etc etc - and, everytime they run out of ideas, they used the wheel to determine which game they were going to copy - which enemies, ambient, quests. And just glue it all together in the end! Just like a good old school job!

    This has to be THE April fool's joke. I don't care if the end game content is good, I don't care if there are some nice dungeons when you reach level 60. What I know is: THE JOURNEY IS INSUFFERABLE. Don't touch this crap.    … Expand

    I think this will go down in history as one of the best games of all times, at least in its genre.

    There's just so much hard and good work in this game, combining the best of WoW and Diablo with its own personnal touch.

The story in this game is a click fest, every npc that talks to you just has a lot of expository dialog that doesnt bring anything new to the table or anything remotely interesting, and if you skip every line of dialog you will still understand what is going on because of how many times you have seen this story in other games. Same old, same old.

    2nd Gameplay
    It looks fun, it even feels fun. You can tell that a lot of work got put into the development of the gameplay but ends up being extremely repetetive and mindless. Sure, if you play all the way through to the endgame, you will find some challenges along the way that make it worth your while, but you'll have to deal with all the mindless content and brainless combat for the majority of the game.

    3rd Gameplay + Story
    By "mindless content" I mean all of the quests from basically every NPC that go along the lines of "Go there and kill that for me", "Go there and get that thing for me (and kill that thing for me while you are there)", "Go there and take this thing to that guy for me (because even though there is magic I still need the help of someone I met 5 minutes ago)". It's just tedious and extremely repetetive

    3rd The Grind
    As any MMORPG, there is a grind fest as well. I don't mind grinding, as long as the Developers find a way to make it fun and entertaining in some aspect. THIS IS NOT THE CASE. It's just, again, mindless and the loot that you get as a reward isn't even that rewarding.

    4th - Multiplayer
    I didn't explore every aspect of this, but me and my friend did try to do a dungeon together and as soon as we tried this happened: He played an extra 40 minutes than me so, for some insane reason the game required us to be at the same quest to enter the dungeon together. This means that if I later on I want to help another friend level up, I can't. They have to do all that excuse for content by themselves because the developers seem to think that the experience alone is rewarding.
    To be honest, I only lasted as long as I did playing this game because I was with a friend otherwise I would've uninstalled it after an hour or so.

    Story? who cares. combat system? nice. progression? tedious and repetetive. p2w? no.
    The game had great potential, but its a mobile made for grinding like a brainless zombie. the dungeons and raids are fun the first couple of time, but you need to do them countless times to make minor progression. all those other content shenanigans like housing and events are just for the completionist.     Interesting character classes, enticing atmosphere, visual attractiveness, satisfying combat – Lost Ark hit the mark on everything one expects from a good action RPG. I could feel my character’s power from the very first step in this interesting, varied world, and saw potential for one of the best Diablo’s cousins in years. It’s a pity that the MMO aspects of Lost Ark forced some compromises and simply get in the way of enjoying the satisfying Diablo-esque side.

    Lost Ark is literally great enough to re-ignite my passion for MMORPGs after 15 years. That’s not a joke, and it’s not something that I’m just saying for the sake of this review. Because of that, I don’t know that I should be reviewing this game so much as I should be thanking it. I’m incredibly happy to have finally found an MMO that I can look forward to playing every day, and, if you’re willing to take my word at all, I think you’ll find that you’ll end up the same way once you sit down with this game for yourself.
