    It's a good game with horrible P2W systems. Pretty much what you would expect from every MMO these days. If you want to RMT or P2W through the store, this game can be really fun. If you want to be a F2P player like I was, you are too late and you will always be behind. Go try a newly released MMO instead.

    Disgusting P2W game of the worst kind. Think Diablo Immoral.

    Has multiple layers of P2W elements designed to force you to pay up, or else you cannot even access the end-game contents.

    Only other option is to grind on 6 characters like it's your 2nd job. Oh wait, no, like it's your only job.

    Stay far, far away from this garbage game.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. С открытия игра была великолепна. Хорошая графика, интересный сюжет. Но сейчас это просто трата времени. PVP просто не сбалансировано, персонажи сильно отличаются по урону. Сами игроки испортили игру. Те, кто уже имеет всё, завышают цены на товары в аукционе. В итоге новичку очень трудно как-то собрать себе хорошего персонажа, но фишка в том, что без хорошего персонажа тебя не будут брать в рейды. Даже если ты знаешь все механики босса, но у тебя нет полного сета, или плохо с гравировками, или самоцветов нет, или колоды нет, тебя не возьмут! А возьмут собранного человека, который так же не мог зайти в рейд и покупал проходки. В итоге человек не знает, что вообще делать и его берут с собранным персонажем, а тебя нет, потому что ты не собрал персонажа. И можно конечно покупать проходки этих рейдов и забыть про этот факт, но это же RPG, где совместная игра? В проходках? Пока ты чай пьёшь, а кто-то за тебя побеждает босса? Ещё игра очень зависима от твинов, ведь от них весь основной заработок ресурсов и голды. И по моему, это ужасно! В общем: старички ставят цены как хотят, а точнее высокую (есть гравировки 4-го уровня по 5к голды, их надо 20. И ГДЕ брать новичку 100к голды только на одну граву? Это несколько месяцев фарма без твинов... Ещё вторая гравировка и бижутерия в основном покупается, потому что рандом здесь искусственно занижен ненужными гравировками. Так же проводки покупаются, ибо без собранного персонажа тебя просто не возьмут. Старички играют на куче твинов, тем самым делают проводки и фармят ещё больше голды, чтобы купить дорогую вещь у такого же старичка, это по мне уже никуда не лезет. В итоге: игру крайне не советую, если у вас нет 7 друзей, готовых пойти с вами в игру надолго, с ними и будете проходить активности.… Expand

Now the developers have issued gamewide bans for inactive players, which shows up as a red mark on you steam profile.     I was fortunate enough to quit this game just a couple weeks after release and decided to make this review to warn others who are considering to play this game: don't do it!

    You spend 90% of your play time on literal trash content. All you do is walk from a to b, emote, kill things, emote, emote, emote again. It gets so bad that in certain quests you just have to stay 3 minutes in one place with nothing happening. Im not making this up. And all for what? Just so you can enjoy a bit of raiding.     Modern pay 2 win at it's finest. Make no mistake, there's a solid game hidden behind layers and layers of multiple currencies, systems and the usage of every single psychological trick in the book to make sure you trow money into the game.

Once an account is targeted, that person will go round between Amazon and Steam and none of them will do anything to arrange something they promoted an unfair way, they will never intend to solve anything. There're only walls and more walls, and a kind of costumer service which is, by default, useless. The worst support I've seen in my life. Useless to spend time playing something that is dead in advance. These companies behaviour is shameful and scandalous.

    PS: while these companies're wasting efforts and resources in clean accounts, the true guilty running bots keep on rushing their way freely in servers, and an even higher amount of them can be seen here and there (even in places where they weren't seen before).     This game is unplayable on NA servers. There's over 10,000k queue on the weekends and you need to wait over an hour to even log in to play a game. They should be paying me money for wasting my time waiting in queues. Good luck trying to play at your convenience.

    Muy buen juego, pero desde hace semanas AGS no han podido parar a los BOTS, las personas vendiendo RMT o tener los cojos de banear permanente a este tipo de personas que causan daño a la economía del juego. Es increible a la 2da semana de valtan ya exista gente con armas +25 reliquias y con un nivel de fortaleza o elenco que da mucha risa. Lo mismo paso con New World. No lo recomiendo aMuy buen juego, pero desde hace semanas AGS no han podido parar a los BOTS, las personas vendiendo RMT o tener los cojos de banear permanente a este tipo de personas que causan daño a la economía del juego.     P2W as hell, once you do adventure tomes - there's really nothing left to do but boring daily chaos dungeons and what not. Bots, poor feature unlocking for NA/EU (Summoner was original launch class on every region, also was in beta, but will be available 2023?..) and more bots.

    The game is also filled with hundreds of thousands of bots, illegaly selling Gold to many players, and also full with cheaters and private bot users.

    AGS managed to drive yet another game in the ground...

    The game has reached a state of no return and the company running it does not care about the players and has gone "full-profit" mode. They don't care to keep remaining players around and try to milk every dollar from whoever is addicted. There are 1000 bots to 1 player and it is disgusting to walk around in the world. Terrible company ruining a game with so much potential.

    Fun combat, pretty visuals, a bit too easy and the story is bland as hell. "End" game tries to confuse you with systems and then cut your wallet. Can't give it larger than a 3 due to that. Non cosmetic micro transactions in gaming need to die. Period. Don't waste your time playing this

The game does not respect your time. It's time gated like a mobile game (which the vast majority of people hate) with an incentive to swipe and swipe hard. This leads to an incredible demand for RMT for gold, which results in a huge amount of botting. AGS has done nothing about any of this. The game's fundamental design benefits RMTers so significantly that you're encouraged to do it, and this makes botting incredibly lucrative. Combine that with the fact that there's no cost for botters to make accounts and we now have a market that doesn't work and the only reasonable method of progress: spending enormous amounts of time doing virtually nothing or RMTing to instantly reach end-game.
    - Combat is clearly inspired by several games yet maintaining only the bad and zero of the good of those games. The isometric camera lock removes player control, the severe restriction on player mobility and poorly implemented netcode and indicators with bosses that simply spam their abilities with no real opportunity for players to do anything leads to a boring means of doing content: just outgear it. In MH you don't have an isometric lock and you have a lot more control. In DS you don't have an isometric lock and you have a lot more control. In Diablo you have an isometric lock, but bosses do not spam attacks and are much more interactive. The end result is that combat in this game feels like you're standing around doing nothing until you're "allowed" to attack. Systems like stagger and destruction are not well explained and in some cases aren't even visible to you. This is lightyears away from every western release in the past 20 years. It's stuck in the early 2000s and it screams in your face just how incompetent the designers are.

    The only good parts of this game are the horizontal progression systems. When you reach 50, you're thousands of hours from a playable state. You need gems, tripods, and engravings along with a lot of grindily obtained skill points for your build to feel reasonably playable. Therefore combat feels terrible for thousands of hours. If you watch KR videos of people near 1600 ilvl, know you will spend the better part of years playing this game to reach that point. Until then, this game will feel like playing WoW or FFXIV as a level 10 player. And every tier you completely delete 100% of your gear requiring you to completely grind or buy all of it again to rebuild.

    This game has a lot of potential, but it feels like it's been held back by the utter incompetence of both Smilegate and AGS. It could easily charge a monthly fee and find itself amongst WoW and FFXIV if any care at all was paid to it, but it's very apparent that the only thing that matters is whales.    … Expand

    Questing is garbage. As MC, you have to do everything ranging from cleaning the toilet to saving the entire country only to get information about Ark. Most of the skill points after lvl 50 is hidden behind collectibles which takes    Overhyped game.

    Questing is garbage. As MC, you have to do everything ranging from cleaning the toilet to saving the entire country only to get information about Ark.

    Guardian raids are a pain, all that effort for some daily miniscule loot.
    Towers are biggest pain, near impossible to clear even when overgeared. Seems like they threw every monster ability in single floor. Only reason to complete it is for skill points.
    Honing rates go down to less than 1% success rate, making you try to hit pity for guarranted success.
    Ability stone cutting is another RNG based system.
    Adventure island loots are also RNG based.
    Bots running around everywhere.
    Every little storage system requires crystals to unlock e.g resetting resistance points in skip skin, roster storage, card collection, etc.
    Absolutely unnecessary curreny called Pheons for Auction house which hampers gear trading.
    Due to all this RNG and low success rate you are stuck at particular ilvl threshold unable to progress, yet they are pushing content which 99.9% is not ready for with Argos update and Legion raids right around the corner.
    Support class are a pain to play as you will struggle to do single player content like Tower.
    Playing a ranged class has huge advantage over melee classes.
    Its essentially a P2W game.

    F2P
    Good cinematics
    Have lot of horizontals but quickly becomes boring

    5. Another MMO with the same illness like EVERY MMO has. In late Dungeons, when one person in your party does something wrong, the whole party gets one shotted. So another MMo with brainless one shot mechanics.

    6. Graphics are horrible, really hardcore blurry. I just don't get it how a game in 2022 can be sooo brutally hard blurry.

    7. BETA Player got 40.000 Crystalls. Amazing that normal players got nothing at all and Founders like Silver got around 1.000 only and you have to pay for a founders pack. Wow

    8. You can not teleport from island to island. You need to use the damn ship to get there and when you are there, you can use the teleporters. Who makes these dumb mechanics?

    9. You can not do dungeons like the chaos dungeon to farm gear when you did not finish some specific main quests. Thanks to my number 4 I am stuck and can not farm for stronger gear.

    10. 80% of items are not tradeable not even for your own other character. Don't know why there is an account storage to share items with your alts when most items can not be transfered.

    11. Work Energy is for whole server. So if you spend all work energy with your berserker and plan to continue to farm for wood etc. with your paladin then you just can't because there is an Pay2Win Mechanic that stops you from doing this because your berserker worked hard and is tired so that means, you other character are tired as well by looking at your berserker how he is working hard BUT ofcourse you can buy work energy potions with gold / crystalls / real money.

    12. This games name could also be Bots Ark because there are more people using bots in this game than actuall people. It's really annoying. These bots are spamming in chat and are trying to sell gold to some people and they are even whispering you and the big problem with this is, market inflation and that you can block only 100 people and these bots are spamming the chat non stop and there is no end with this.

    13. Character Slots are really a pain. This game has many classes and it will get even more BUT I have only 6 character slots available and they are full already and ofcourse to get more, just spend some real money. This game is even more Pay2Win than a mobile game since you can get really rich as more alt character you have on a server.

    14. Crazy and greedy prices for some items in shop. They are really put a bundle of skins that is even censored for around 40€. bunch of greedy b...

    15. Maintenance timing is the worst. These people can't do even that right. I am on EU server and the Maintenance starts mostly during daytime where everyone woke up and is back from work. Why these people can not do atleast 1 thing right and do the maintenances at nights.

    16. Gender locked classes in 2022 with almost 0 character creation mechanics. You can not change the body type etc.

Do you have ANY interaction with that death? Nope - I mean, "who are you talking about? Someone died?". jesus Goddamn Christ.

    Sh*** is continuously thrown at you just to fill the HUGE VOID of LACK OF CONTENT - which is an absurd contradiction, because there is a LOT OF MECHANICS in Lost Ark, but, at the same time, it is so terribly written and shallow.

    I am pretty sure they got one of those "wheel of luck" filled with the names with a lot of games - Diablo, Path of Exile, Ragnarok, Starcraft etc etc etc - and, everytime they run out of ideas, they used the wheel to determine which game they were going to copy - which enemies, ambient, quests. And just glue it all together in the end! Just like a good old school job!

    This has to be THE April fool's joke. I don't care if the end game content is good, I don't care if there are some nice dungeons when you reach level 60. What I know is: THE JOURNEY IS INSUFFERABLE. Don't touch this crap.    … Expand

    I think this will go down in history as one of the best games of all times, at least in its genre.

    There's just so much hard and good work in this game, combining the best of WoW and Diablo with its own personnal touch.

Don't want to invest thousands of hours into something which money can achieve in a few days. Not to mention that god awful upgrade system! Watching streamers spend thousands of dollars for upgrades to fail. Story was D tier at best, only recommend this game if you gotf2p game with plenty of content, but being someone who will never spend money on cash shops I'll never max out my gear.     I have played this game for like 4 hours with a friend of mine and my impressions aren't very good or even nice. You can tell it's just a major cash grab from amazon with what it's possibly one of the shallowest games since basically ever and here is why:

The story in this game is a click fest, every npc that talks to you just has a lot of expository dialog that doesnt bring anything new to the table or anything remotely interesting, and if you skip every line of dialog you will still understand what is going on because of how many times you have seen this story in other games. Same old, same old.

    2nd Gameplay
    It looks fun, it even feels fun. You can tell that a lot of work got put into the development of the gameplay but ends up being extremely repetetive and mindless. Sure, if you play all the way through to the endgame, you will find some challenges along the way that make it worth your while, but you'll have to deal with all the mindless content and brainless combat for the majority of the game.

    3rd Gameplay + Story
    By "mindless content" I mean all of the quests from basically every NPC that go along the lines of "Go there and kill that for me", "Go there and get that thing for me (and kill that thing for me while you are there)", "Go there and take this thing to that guy for me (because even though there is magic I still need the help of someone I met 5 minutes ago)". It's just tedious and extremely repetetive

    3rd The Grind
    As any MMORPG, there is a grind fest as well. I don't mind grinding, as long as the Developers find a way to make it fun and entertaining in some aspect. THIS IS NOT THE CASE. It's just, again, mindless and the loot that you get as a reward isn't even that rewarding.

    4th - Multiplayer
    I didn't explore every aspect of this, but me and my friend did try to do a dungeon together and as soon as we tried this happened: He played an extra 40 minutes than me so, for some insane reason the game required us to be at the same quest to enter the dungeon together. This means that if I later on I want to help another friend level up, I can't. They have to do all that excuse for content by themselves because the developers seem to think that the experience alone is rewarding.
    To be honest, I only lasted as long as I did playing this game because I was with a friend otherwise I would've uninstalled it after an hour or so.

    5th - Conclusion
    It's a shell of what appears to be a beautiful world design, when in reality it is the most generic game of the year so far with a lot of story that doesn't mean anything and gameplay that will turn your brain into a vegetable. I gave it a 2 for effort and for just existing.    … Expand

    I was very hyped for the game and played it alot since release. I never got in touch with Lost Ark before because I wanted to explore the game by myself and don't ruin my hype. But I really regret it    It's truly scary how big companies can manipluate critics for a game for some extra money. Because I can't understand how "profressional" game reviewer can give Lost Ark such a good score.

    I was very hyped for the game and played it alot since release. I never got in touch with Lost Ark before because I wanted to explore the game by myself and don't ruin my hype.
    But I really regret it today. The whole game is a p2w massacre and it manipluates people from the very beginning of the game that you don't have to pay for progression. People actually say that the game is p2p (pay to progression) but that's is just an excuse to hide the fact that the game is p2w.
    The best equipment in the game is not accessible for normal humans. Either you pay rediculous amounts of money or you will stuck at a low GS for ever. They made you think that you can have and do everything in the game for free but it's like in every f2p mobile game. You will hit a paywall that frustrates you and make you realise how unrealistic it is for you to be one of the top players.

    Do I need the GS really? Yes and no. The DPS scaling of higher GS is insanely high later on. There are plenty of statistic of korea that shows how p2w the game is.
    You can do the highest content in the game without spending money, yes. But i requires you to play the game for a very long time with alot of twinks and with very much time investment. This is not acceptable for casual players who enjoy the game but also want to enjoy everything of it. They have not a chance, only with money.

    I really wished that the western Version would have been more fair and equal to every player. We don't share the same mentality of status and money in the west like koreans do. Look what the most successfull mmorpgs are in the west. We don't like p2w games with scammy gambling upgrade mechanics, we want a consistent fair and equal progression.

    And I also want to mention that is game is everything but not a ARPG. The rewards you are getting from killing mobs is just not existing. We are able to kill thousand of mobs but the only way to obtain usefull loot from it is throuh the chaos dungeons. And you will ALWAY get the same **** over and over again just with different tier numbers. You don't even need to use your brain. This is the worst ARPG exerpience I ever had in my life. You surely to something wrong when killing monsters feels annoying and boring.

    And now a more personal thing. I really love housing, crafting and gathering in games. In FF14 I spent months in things like that. But why the hell is everything in Lost Ark time limited? Just let me do housing and crafting man. Ah well, yeah, I forgot the game is p2w, my bad. It's time limited so you cannot craft usefull battle items that are mandatory for raids for free when you invest time in the game.
    So even if you want to do the optional content in the game, you will realise pretty fast that i's not possible without waiting for week, months or even years for some stuff.

    the only pros I can give the game is the optic. It really has some very beautiful areas in the game.
    And some islands are pretty funny.
    The "hard" raids are okay. They are just not hard and the bosses have only 2 or max 3 mechanics you have to take care of. Pretty boring and easy.

The fact that its this popular boggles my mind. It shows that people are DESPERATE for anything....even doing HOURS and HOURS of non-missions and very little combat. Its sad. Your main objectives in any given area are as follows: Go here. Talk. Move object. Emote to someone. Talk to someone again. Go to a previous area, run the entire length of the map to talk to someone for 2 seconds, teleport back to quest giver. BLAH!! One mission had me teleporting TWENTY times. I didn't see combat for a half hour.

    Totally mismanaged by the most incompetent publisher in the world. The only thing Amazon Games cares about is indoctrination with wokeness and money. The game is barely playable in the central european region because of the serious technical issues.

    Lost Ark has the isometric top-down camera of Path of Exile of Diablo games.

    That being said it also has the traditional mmorpg elements. While Lost Ark has great graphics, fun gameplay, yea sure. However. Its a mash-up that may take hold with some, but not all. Personally. This game is visually beautiful but the combination of ARPG gameplay and camera doesn't mesh with MMO gameplay.     Bueno para pasar el rato, el mundo y la jugabilidad lo mejor. Pese a querer ser innovador solo parece la combinación de diferentes mecánicas de otros juegos anteriormente vistos.

    Zdecydowanie spędziłem w tej grze najwięcej godzin w ciągu ostatnich dni. Szkoda tylko że 95% czasu to kolejki.
    Gameplay wciągający do czasu aż znudzi się grindowanie gorsze niż w grach typu PoE.

    this game is first and foremost an mmorpg. Busy work, sensless quests, a dog shi te story, horrible voice acting. The combat is serviceable but nothing special. The customization of skills is decent but nothing special.

    One of my biggest disappointments in years. Been waiting for this to release for so long, and it’s just bland as dry toast. There’s nothing original to see here, it’s like a game that was designed by a committee of bean counters who have never actually played a game, they just know which games made money so they threw them all into a blender and this is the crap that came out.     Its a fun game and has tons of potential even for a f2p with heavy cash shop. Sadly the launch for eue is messed up and the servers can barely keep up making it unplayable for everyone.

    A fun game ruined by constant server and matchmaking errors on the European centres, the devs are making no signs or indication that they will fix this, even 7 days after launch, avoid this game until it has been fixed, or entirely as by the time they fix it, most content will be dead

    The environments look good and it can be fun to play with friends. That's about where my enjoyment of the game ends. Classes are restricted by gender currently. Every single female character is in stilettos with no way to change footwear. Ultra thin with large upper bodies. Zero variation. If you play a male class you get the amine beefcake body type or you get Dante from DMC.

    I found very few classes to have an actual flow to their gameplay. It was often a series of disjointed abilities that didn't compliment each other or simply served to fill time between cooldowns of abilities that actually mattered. Every class, of it's 8 abilities you get to test prior to making a decision, had 3-5 abilities that literally did the same thing with a slightly different flair. Berserker had 5 downward slash abilities: two typical slashes, one slow one, one short hop slash, and one slightly larger hop slash. None did anything different than each other, just an animation and some damage. Why did this need to be 5 different abilities? Why not one with upgrade variations that changed what it did or how it looked? I ended up with the demonblade rogue class for most of my playtime, which also had about 4 minor variations to "two slashes" with no additional effects. Upgrading skills also seems to come down to more damage, speed, or some resistance to crowd control while mid-animation.

    The story is terrible. Voice acting probably hurts it more than anything. After about 10 minutes I found myself already skipping every piece of dialogue or cutscene I could. Which, turns out, is not all of them. Lots can't be skipped, I guess they're "too important" to the story to skip.

    Overall game bad. Just play Diablo or Path of Exile.    … Expand

    Too many lags. Group Dungeon fail almost all time.(because they can't fetch data)
    Server overloadeds. News regions added without possibility to transfer all character, subscription and belonging, so it's useless.

    I've been in login cue for 15 hours since Saturday morning, 15! At this point i spent more time in login cue than i have in game (and this doesn't even include the "Cannot connect to server. Exiting the game W0x3-SPCLFWN1N2NT" issue, if you get that, you can even forget to cue, you won't be playing today).

    The game in it's current state is unplayable and as long as this isn't fixed, the    I've been in login cue for 15 hours since Saturday morning, 15!     Extreme Wartelisten bevor man einloggen kann. Von 40 Stunden Spielzeit konnte ich nur 8 tatsächlich spielen. Der Rest war in der Warteschleife. Macht keinen Spaß!
    Und es wird von Tag zu Tag schlimmer. Jetzt bekommt man nicht mal mehr die Serverauswahlseite angezeigt und das Spiel beendet sich selbst. Ich könnte mir in den .... beißen dafür gezahlt zu haben. Zurück gibts das Geld auch    Extreme Wartelisten bevor man einloggen kann. Von 40 Stunden Spielzeit konnte ich nur 8 tatsächlich spielen.     Game once you are in and there are no lags (between 2 AM and 10 AM) is really good, I would say maybe even 9/10.
    The problem is queue times in EU and end-game dungeons lagging for most of the day and half of the night that you can't even enjoy most of the end-game content. You either sit in queue for hours, you ATTEMPT to enter queue for hours or you sit for hours trying to enter dungeon.     I would thus rated this game overall 4/10, but since there are people rating it 10/10 even tho they mention queue issues I think it is unfair for average score if I would have given it the rating I think it deserves.

    Combat is irrelevant as enemies doesn´t gives you noticeable exp or drop. Same goes for Sidequest, they could be completely removed from the game and would make no impact whatsoever.

    Playing with friends makes no sense, as the campaign is so easy and straightforward that teaming up will just slow you (there are little combat, and most missions are, again, just to get from A to B for the most part)

    When you reach endgame you´ll be overwhelmed by the amount of different kinds of "tokens" to purchase different kind of stuff. And the renowned endgame content wich you can finally play with friends, will be gated. 2 tries per day.

    That being said endgame consist on running the dungeons (just 2 times per day/characters, encouraging you to make alts) to farm gear and materials to craft gear wich will enable you to get to next tier dungeon. Sounds somehow ok-ish, until you find your progression artificially locked by daily chances or whatever.

    And again, the annoying missions persist as dailies: run from A to B then go to C and talk to D wich will send you E.

    So overall: its your regular F2P MMO, now with isometric view.

    If you are into those kind of games, go ahead. Its more of the same stuff. Otherwise, stay away.    … Expand

    Honestly feels like a disguised mobile cashgrab.
    Buggy and poorly translated text and UI.
    "The fun part" starts at level 50 but getting there is incredibly tedious.
    Endgame starts with info-dumps about many, many overly convoluted systems.
    Cherry on top is the aggressive pay-to-win cash shop.

    Honestly the atmosphere is so bland it is baffling. Over-the-top animations which at first seems very nice but ends up being repetitive quickly. Insanely easy gameplay all the way through leveling, It seems like it wants to do everything and just ends up being so forgettable.

    I've been playing for about 100 hours now and I honestly don't think I'm going to continue. Honestly a pretty major letdown after so much relentless pushing of the game from many content creators.

    The races suck. Each class being locked to a single race is honestly garbage. Want to be a Mage? Well, you HAVE to be a female elf so you can play as a Sorceress then, tough if you wanted to play as any other race or as a male character. And if you thought the World of Warcraft or Final Fantasy XIV character creators were limited, they look like PSO2 next to Lost Ark's customization.

    The story is a joke. It's not even good for a laugh, it's the most soulless basic fantasy storytelling I've ever seen in anything. Before the game EVEN STARTS you're given a backstory where your character has already killed tons of important enemies presented as a slideshow. The fact that I've heard people compare this game's story to RPGs like Final Fantasy XIV or The Witcher is ludicrous.

    I will say the game LOOKS very nice though, if you're into a game for just the graphics this is probably the best MMO on the market visually currently. There are a few graphical bugs though, mainly to do with hair (longer hairstyles clip a LOT with armor too), and some of the running animations are almost comedically bad.

    The endgame is also, from what I've seen of it, incredibly grind-y. Maybe that's your thing. But personally I think I'm going to pass. If you're a casual player MMOs like FFXIV or PSO2 are probably worth your time more.    … Expand

    Interesting character classes, enticing atmosphere, visual attractiveness, satisfying combat – Lost Ark hit the mark on everything one expects from a good action RPG. I could feel my character’s power from the very first step in this interesting, varied world, and saw potential for one of the best Diablo’s cousins in years. It’s a pity that the MMO aspects of Lost Ark forced some compromises and simply get in the way of enjoying the satisfying Diablo-esque side.

    Lost Ark is literally great enough to re-ignite my passion for MMORPGs after 15 years. That’s not a joke, and it’s not something that I’m just saying for the sake of this review. Because of that, I don’t know that I should be reviewing this game so much as I should be thanking it. I’m incredibly happy to have finally found an MMO that I can look forward to playing every day, and, if you’re willing to take my word at all, I think you’ll find that you’ll end up the same way once you sit down with this game for yourself.
