    A blast to playthrough with some surprisingly fun level designs. It's sort of a 2 hour high octane action set piece and a fresh take on the Hotline Miami formula with a stunning isometric neon aesthetic.

    The pace of the difficulty was tight and the gameplay was fast and frenetic requiring you to think on your feet as the situations are all varied.     The pace of the difficulty was tight and the gameplay was fast and frenetic requiring you to think on your feet as the situations are all varied. Hotline Miami required pitch perfect runs with no room for errors sometimes leading to cheap strategies like hiding behind doors and stacking enemies. Here, it's more accessible/forgiving and allows the player more chances to fight back.

    There's no dialogue but there's some environmental story telling going on and leaves the interpretation entirely up to the player. I wish this was explored more because it was interesting to say the least.

    I was expecting the usual Outrun/Synthwave style music but what i got instead was a welcome change with Electro/Techno style beats and soaring string sections with a hint of JRPG inspiration. Somehow, it just works. The guns sound meaty and the sound effects are all unique and solid. There's a lack of ambiances or environmental sounds that hurt it a bit but that sort of thing can probably be overlooked in this style of game.

    I had some minor frustrations with the chopper area and but i'm sure that might get patched with a later update. I really just wish the entire game was longer or had more content because it sort of just stops at the end when i was hoping for more.

    Overall though, for the price, it's a solid entry and introduction into this neon soaked world.    … Expand

    So found this little game hidden within the Cyberpunk game tags and I must say the art style caught my interest. This game feels like something a bit older something that many of us likely would have played on the days of flash game sites but it is that charm that makes the experience more enjoyable.

    The game doesn't have a clearly laid out story something more alluded to as a backdrop    So found this little game hidden within the Cyberpunk game tags and I must say the art style caught my interest.     The game doesn't have a clearly laid out story something more alluded to as a backdrop for going through the stages but that isn't significant as the gameplay mechanics holds up really well. The gameplay is fast and once you get the hang of the level design and flow of the game feels like the type of title that would create a dancelike speed-run. I would definitely say check the game out for an enjoyable experience that won't consume all the hours in your day like so many current games.    … Expand

    Lithium City is the antidote to the massively mundane – an experience that cuts everything to the bone, producing a game in its purest form with a number one focus on having you feel like a badass. What’s not to love?

    Lithium City’s neon violence is a fountain of ideas that expands until it explodes. Its objective may be to clear tricky bad guys out of hostile rooms, but its justification is to force creative and spontaneous solutions out of an evolving set of kinetic problems. What’s left on Lithium City’s table is a full meal served in a medley of exquisite morsels.
