The standard Lego procedure with a story that works very well. All in all it's a solid, but not really surprising, Lego game.

Lego Marvel Super Heroes 2 combines two exciting properties into an uninspired package.

Game play is familiar to Lego game fans, but with enough twists to keep it fresh - and less paint-by-numbers than other recent releases (I'm a very casual adult gamer, and love the Lego format, but yawned my way through the last Leg Star Wars effort...) I'd even say that youngsters might actually need a helping parental hand occasionally, and that TT might really have struck that elusive perfect balance to keep both kids and grownups amused for hours.
PS. I revised the score down from 9, on account of the bugs, which are plentiful. So far I've found work-arounds, but the basic rule of thumb is that if it feels like you're stuck for no reason, you probably are. End game and try again with different moves.
Can't wait to finish Story Mode so I can check out what's available in the open areas :-)
