    This game is able to leave you with a sense of high satisfaction.
    Which happens to me only with the most difficult challenges. As with the most complex bosses in the Dark Souls saga. The plot is good, and the soundtrack turns out to be really impressive in some situations.     Left Alive is an unforgiving stealth game set in the Front Mission universe where direct wars have ceased only for neighboring countries to engage in proxy wars with each other. The characters you play as are caught in the aftermath of battle and the player has to use their wits to survive, gather resources and outsmart overpowering foes. Its a believable setting with a lot of potential. However there are numerous design flaws within the actual gameplay that leave me wondering what the developers were actually doing for 2+ years.

    PROS:
    - Interesting and believable future world setting.
    - Wanzers! Basically the only point in the first couple levels that I felt immersed in the world. Watching these behemoths drop into the map creates a feeling of unease and fundamentally changes how you approach objectives.
    - OST. One of the few things that feels like it has a lot of polish and fits with the environment.

    CONS:
    - Lack of any formal tutorial. I suppose not a complete flaw as it could be by design to force the player to experiment and seek their own means on how to navigate and fight in the world. However I feel it would have made too much sense to include a sort of Basic Training tutorial as the first rookie character as it would fit to develop story and provide context.
    - Clunky movement, animations, and inventory screen. Basically all the things that should be seamless in a modern game but aren't.
    - Really inconsistent AI. You will die a lot, but not always to your own stupidity. Running the same scenario multiple times usually results in different outcomes even though enemy walk cycles tend to be the same. It simply makes getting through a level a chore.
    - Dialogue is hit or miss. Sometimes a dialogue choice will be voiced by the actor, sometimes it won't. However the voice acting itself is really well done and you can feel the emotion behind the character.
    - The AI companion Koshka will alert you by saying "CAUTION AN ENEMY IS APPROACHING" regardless if you're 3 feet or 30 feet from the enemy, whether you see them or not. And 99.99% of the time the player was already fully aware there was an enemy there.

    The game itself is not recommended for just anyone as you already would have to enjoy stealth action games like Splinter Cell and Metal Gear Solid. However to those that might enjoy those genres I would advise to steer clear until the developers add some much needed performance and gameplay changes.    … Expand

    His enormous difficulty reminded me of games like the Dark Souls.

Furthermore, there are numerous Bots that give many votes 0 a day in a really childish way, quite sad, and very pathetic for them .... Since they don't even play the game. I feel very satisfied as a player. And those    I've been playing the game for a long time.

    Great game.
    The technical sector is not at the top, but it was predictable, since it is not a triple A game.
    It's a low budjet AA game that manages to be nicer (and fun to play) than many other triple A games of today.

    Fiquei realmente impressionado com este jogo.
    Grande história, apresentação gurande e uma jogabilidade interessante.
    A única coisa em que não se sobressai é os gráficos.

    From the premises I would never have expected it, but for me it has reached the levels of technique and excellence of the first three Metal Gear Solids.

    Square have been kinda on the down for a while now. The Quiet Man, Shadow of the Tomb Raider, Just Cause 4 and now this? OK wtf is going over there. They need a smack in the head. No wonder this hasn't been advertised heavily. Even they knew this wouldn't stand a chance so they minimized marketing cost to avoid a huge loss.

    Let's start with the main problem with the game... first of all, you will feel underpowered. Very underpowered. Coupling that with the real problem you will be frustrated unless you study a bit. Learning the controls is hard because the feedback you get from your inputs you use on the controller is not very clear. An example is shooting... If you take your time you'll see that shooting with an interval between shots is actually easy instead of trying to press it faster. You have to give your time to the recoil to go. But this is not very clear because, unlike other games, you get feedback. The same can be said from pretty much everything and that's where I'm seeing the hate coming. Search some tips on google or reddit and you'll see the game is easy. That's the bad part I can say about it. Gameplay mechanics are not very clear too but after learning how to use traps to your advantage the game becomes so easy that it becomes funny.

    With that aside all I can say is that you should give a chance to it (while still praying for a front mission) but keeping in mind that the lower budget of the game didn't allow it to be polished enough. The gameplay is its problem but you can still go through with some tips on google/reddit. I would give it a 6.5 from the good experience I had. iI it wasn't for gameplay feedback coupled with some animation problems I would go for a 8 which is actually sad.    … Expand

    I wasn't expecting a game with such challenging gameplay. Really satisfying when you can make the most of the resources offered in the various chapters, and the ost is really nice.

    El juego es muy malo, le falto demasiado desarrollo me parece que lo sacaron antes de tiempo, porque incluso hace un mes no se sabia nada de este titulo sino fue hasta hace una semana antes de su lanzamiento que se supo de el. El juego tecnicamente se quedo hace 10 años atras

    While I can see some of the issues reviewer had with the game I think they have been way to harsh in their scores and they seem to hate and condem any game that thinks outside the box and has origionaly..

    Left alive has a few small iritations but it's a fasinating steal action game filled with interesting mechanics and different way to approach encounters..
    I loved MGS5, but left alive feels a bit like a true follow up to the PS2 MGS games.

    Начну с плюсов, они тут есть!
    Первый - Это конечно качественные Русские надписи, за это разрабам респект! Второй - Саундтрек, он просто взрыв мозга! Отличный!!!     А теперь минусы:
    Первый - Графика и анимации устарели лет на шесть! Они лучше даже в MGS V (Ей больше пяти лет), чьим аналогом Left Alive и является кстати.
    Второй - Очень спорный геймплей, это стелс-экшн в котором нет быстрого убийства!
    Третий - ИИ, искусственный идиот. То они тебя за укрытием видят, то перед собой не видят (К слову это делает игру забавной)!

    Мой вердикт - "Берите на свой страх и риск, игра далеко не для всех. Фанаты смешного трэша среднего пошива - Must Have, остальные - подумайте хорошенько..."    … Expand

    Loved every chapter of this game.
    The plot is interesting and really amazing, and the gameplay is the tipe of arcade style that I really love.

    I'm a gamer since the Nintendo 64, this game is Gold.
