NathanMDec 15, 2009Completely original campaigns that can even change in what paths you use. L4D2 is the game of the year. By increasing the entertainment factor in every single way from its already amazing predecessor. Anybody who actually plays the game will realize that there is no way this game could be only DLC or an expansion, it had to be a sequel.

[anonymous]Dec 21, 2009Very good game and much better than the first one. Of course the boycotters downvotes the game, without even trying it first. Let this game live and the first one die.

NickLDec 2, 2009Mario X absolutely doesn't know anything. This is an amazing game. New weapons and maps make this a great game. The new characters are great as well. It would of been better if they made it an expansion pack or add on though. I'd say wait till a lower price because it's not worth $60, wait till it's $40.

JimBDec 20, 2009No save function in Single player marks this way down. I'm sick of playing the same levels over and over. Zombies materialize out of no where in parts of the game. The saving grace is the co-op play. If not for that I would have rated it much much lower.

JimmyDDec 7, 2009Tons of fun. I like Killing Floor and L4D1 as well. Killing Floor has different gameplay. Yeah, you shoot zombies in both and both are fun. L4D2 has been fun, I've played it non-stop since the release with absolutely no issues on a three-year old computer with a mid-range video card (9800GT).

Awards & Rankings

L4D2 delivers multiple improvements over its predecessor, and I get to keep all my fingers and toes.
-
It remains one of the most distinctive co-operative titles out there, and allows for some of the most nerve-searing team-based multiplayer gaming on the market.

Whereas once we treated Left 4 Dead as a stopgap between Half-Lifes, this is no longer a weird little side project with modest expectations, and Valve is confident enough to play around with it, safe in the knowledge that you can trust your players. Left 4 Dead proved it. And whereas that game had a personality, this one is overflowing with it.
