    This game. Doesn't need a second thought, of being a masterpiece, even though it was boycotted 12 years ago, im pretty sure all the people who boycotted it back then, regret their words. This game is, and always will be, a masterpiece.

    Left 4 Dead 2 is one of those games I don't think could be polished much further but at the same times feels a long way from perfect.

    Its one of those rare sequels that is a sort of "Super" version of its precursor that manages to not feel bloated.

    I would highly recommend Left 4 Dead 2.

    The best zombie game i've ever played and a fun game to play with your friends! I've never heard of the word bug in this game and that was the reason i'm rating this a score of 10 out of 10.

With a satisfying gameplay loop that mimics a horror movie. An amazing level of detail in the environments. A lovable cast of characters Left 4 Dead 2 will stick with you even 11 years later. The director gives the games its insane replay value. It's brimming with content and different modes to try out. Its versus is exactly the type of exhilaration that makes playing games with friends so much fun.     This game gives you no rest, really pumps you with adrenaline when you are in the middle of the action. It is the best of its zombie survival kind :)

    Speaking of Gmod, the entire game feels like an overhyped gamemode. It's got really cool music and sound effects and fancy pre recorded dialogue, but the gameplay itself is pretty much akin to one of those zombie survival gmod servers, except with even more toxicity somehow.

    The game has a shocking lack of variety, a handful of gamemodes surrounding the only basic mechanic of moving and shooting. Versus is a really fun idea but it feels half baked and undertested at best and straight up broken at worst.

    This is a shockingly bad game and anyone trying to convince you otherwise is a grifter who hasn't actually played it or someone so caught up in their childish nostalgia they refuse to see this game for the giant pile or steaming garbage it is.

It's a classic that will never grow old. Graphically, the game is so ... sufficient. Valve mostly makes graphics in his multiplayer titles, which is nice in a way, but not breathtaking. But it has its charm, because itLeft 4 Dead 2 is like I would call it Steamovka. If you're on Steam and you're playing at least a little bit of multiplayer, you have to have Left 4 Dead 2 in your library. It's a classic that will never grow old. But it has its charm, because it looks good in the final and especially the game can be played by almost everyone thanks to low HW requirements.     Первая часть в абсолюте. Миссии частично менее мрачные( из за светлого времени суток) , за то ситуации и режиссура шагнули далеко вперед. Оружие завезли, монстров новых тоже прибавилось, карты - очень интересные(миссия на мосту- отдельное спасибо valve). Игра - шикарная, эталон кооп игры.Первая часть в абсолюте. Миссии частично менее мрачные( из за светлого времени суток) , за то ситуации и режиссура шагнули далеко вперед. Оружие завезли, монстров новых тоже прибавилось, карты - очень интересные(миссия на мосту- отдельное спасибо valve). Игра - шикарная, эталон кооп игры.

    Not that I'm a specialist on co-op games, but this really feels like the perfect co-op game! It feels like everything in it is designed with playability in mind - the visuals, the levels, the weapons, the zombies... And it really works, because it's playable as hell

    Easily one of the best games of all time with 100's of hours sank into it. No game I know other than Valve titles has such an amazing live community for so long with more and more mods and content being given daily.

    This is how you make a masterpiece game. Heck man there's even dialogue and details I'm still finding to this day.

    this is the best fun i had with my friends in years. you can strategize or dive head first in to the zombies and survive.you won't get bored easily when you have time, friends and this game.

    The greatest multiplayer zombie experience expanded. I love all the campaigns and the special zombies make for an interesting gameplay. There's even more of them, and the versus mode is a great way to play with friends and randoms alike.

    Y una de las cosas que me gustó es el hecho es que, aunque muchos piensen que este es un juego de zombies típicos y no le encuentren sentido al hecho que puedas matar uno aquí disparándoles a la cabeza, el juego explica bastante bien que más que zombies en realidad son infectados. Específicamente infectados con el virus de la gripe verde, un virus que causa mutaciones y ataques agresividad intensa en los contagiados; por ello el que dichos infectados puedan morir como lo haría una persona normal. A su vez que los infectados especiales son mutaciones de personas con características especiales; quienes en su conjunto buscarán contagiar o asesinar a quienes no estén infectados y por ello es que no buscan alimentarse de su carne cómo lo harían los típicos zombies.    … Expand

    sigue siendo divertido, aun después de que otras franquicias trataran de hacer lo mismo que hizo L4D2, se quedaron ahí , en un intento.

    es literalmente uno de los juegos más divertidos que puedes jugar con amigos,+ la opción del workshop le da una rejugabilidad ilimitada.

    Left 4 Dead 2 does many things right. The zombie theme is a matter of taste, but everything from gameplay to graphics is just lovely. While the single-player is pretty fun, the multiplayer rules and is a real time waster! Wrap up your friends and have a great time!

    Classic survival team like game and a classic. It's a shame this game didn't got any big updates, since a few people keeps playing this to this day and they could have done good new maps. Probably one of the best sequel games ever made.

    The zombies, soundtrack, stages, 7 out of 8 characters (not Rochelle), mods, amount of extra voice lines, user control, versus, realism, memorable enemies, download stages, custom    Probably one of the my top 10 games of all time.

I would love for new ones but it's tough to break what L4D2 has in amount of content.

    Better than the first in all ways, especially since it has all of the OG campaigns on it for free!! Melee weapons are a nice addition and the new campaigns are all solid, some making for instant classics. Characters are funny as ever and graphics are greatly improved.

    It was an iconic game for me.
    First of all, because it had a hidden cybersports potential, but it was never realized.
    Imagine: a 4-in4 mod
    Lots of combinations between infected and survivors on different maps. It could create a new cybersports genre.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Definitely one of the best game I played. It is relatively old(2009) and is stil fun, but has its flaws. All modes are pretty cool. PvE modes like campaign or survival are fun with friends. PvP mode - versus is fun only with friends. Joining a random game will probably dissappoint you. You will have to play with braindead, toxic people while the opponent team will always be more-coordinated. It would be better to have a premade 4 v 4 match. Otherwise 90% of matches will suck. Playing as infected sometimes sucks. There are situations where your charges will not land, your jockeys won't jump on survivors. Game is flooded with cheaters who are insatisfactory with having no friends, so they have to ruin your games. Chargers changing directions, jockeys dropping you out of the window and insta-killing you( on official unmodded servers). Most maps are anti-infected, many open maps render it impossible for boomer to sucessfully attack. Versus is only about how fast can you run, if you want fun go play campaign with friends.… Expand

    Pretty good co-op zombie game that broke a lot of new ground in its time. Today however, I feel that even if the game is still pretty solid and fun, it's just outclassed by a lot of other co-op shooter titles like Borderlands 2/The Pre-Sequel, Payday 2, Destiny 2, Vermintide, etc...

    One of the most broken and cheater infested games you can play. All of the fun is ruined because of the bugs and exploits on multiplayer.

    Tanks will spawn underground. Witches will spawn in walls that get immediately killed and as smaller zombies such as charger you will constantly clip though enemies.     Another great and fun game in the Left 4 Dead-series. I must say that I prefer Left 4 Dead due to the much darker and scarier campaigns. Too much sun here, it's like dawn of the dead, not that scary. Though I love the Dark Carnival. More weapons less ammo. New special infected as well.

    + Юмор и персонажи. Персонажи как и в первой части хорошо запомнились, и без юмора тоже не обошлось, он тут тоже хороший.
    +Оружие. Его тут много, начиная от дигла заканчивая m60. Рукопашного оружия тоже много, от сковородки до клюшки. Думаю с плюсами все. Перейду к минусам, а он тут только один. -это комьюнити.    +Хорошая графика для того года, которая и в наше время не режет глаза

    All in all, probably the best game I ever owned. PVP was good, if you had a functional team, and even co-op could be intense. There were also plenty of variant modes to keep you occupied.

    Modded servers were almost always awful, though.

    Despite of not having an actual campaign, the concept make it works totally perfect, the concept goes around 4 survivor who are immune to the virus and they have to make their way to safety killing hordes of zombies in their path.
    The core gameplay is pretty much simple, shoot every zombie you see and make your way from point A to point B... alive, simple right? buy works perfect and trust me, you'll never get bored of it. This game can be played alone or with your mates, in higher difficulties team work is essential if you want to make it out alive.
    The game design and levels looks gorgeous!!!! thanks to Valve's Source engine. Now, comparing this sequel to the original game, this one is more violent and bloodier, now the game has a dismemberment mechanic were every zombie will tear into peaces with any shoot, other cool feature is the use of melee weapons that make a balance between long range weapons and melee combat in difference to the original game were you use only fire weapons, and to remark other point... this game contains the original "campaigns" as well.
    The only thing that could have make this title even perfect is if it feature a campaign with a more detailed story.
    The active steam workshop community expand the experience of the game with fan content that you should try if you want like Maps, character skins, sounds & music, and weapons.

    The absolute best zombie game out there. Completely addictive, witty, intense, and plenty of content to boast. Plus with mods it becomes a godly game. My only problem is that the game is a bit too simplistic. But that didn't bother me that much.

    I finally decided to finish the campaigns that were long overdue and I'm glad I have. I won't spend much time describing the game as I'm sure everyone is familiar with this one. Technically speaking, Left 4 Dead 2 is better than the original game. More weapons, more zombie types, some very nice maps. However, as a Horror fan, I personally liked Left 4 Dead better than the sequel.I finally decided to finish the campaigns that were long overdue and I'm glad I have. Everything has been improved in Left 4 Dead 2 at the expense of the horror element. The first game was pretty scary, this one for some reason is not.

    If you plan to play Left 4 Dead 2, there were 2 peaks of the game for me and you should not miss it. Firstly, The Dark Carnival campaign with its amazing final mission (I won't spoil it, just play it). And secondly, the Scavenge Mode where one team plays as the survivors trying to fuel up a generator in a limited amount of time and the other team as the infected. The entire campaign is a blast to play and with the implementation of new special zombies, I found it even more enjoyable than the first one.     求生之路一个创造性的举动无疑就是采用了ai导演系统。制作者从《军团要塞》这类的传统fps对抗游戏中获取了灵感，让这个系统来调节游戏的节奏，带给玩家每次游玩都是截然不同的体验。该系统的特色就是会根据玩家的状态来调整感染者的进攻节奏，并且游戏中感染者没有固定的刷新点，只要是生还者视线盲区就能刷怪，因此求生之路2的地图耐玩性可能时至今日都是首屈一指的。同时，游戏的bgm也有专门的导演系统，配乐会配合爱导演系统进行变动，本身就优秀的配乐能让玩家更有代入感。

    创意工坊和第三方mod网站里的mod数不胜数，找不到你感兴趣的mod是不可能的。最基础的无疑就是各种模型和贴图，给予了你的求生高度的个性化选择，之后，当个性化也不能满足你时，第三方地图和模式无疑又能给你更多不一样的体验。甚至，当你感兴趣，你还可以自制属于你的mod。由于开发者对于mod的支持，制作一个求生的mod并不是难事。甚至可以说求生之所以长寿很大程度上得益于其自由度极高的扩展性。

    求生配置多低，已经不必多说了，如果你的电脑还带不动求生，那真的没救了。但是，把虽然老但是成熟的source引擎的性能压榨到了极致极致的L4D2画质依然不差——而且随便一台中端的电脑都能全高效跑上百帧。虽然画质在今天称不上很牛逼，但也没什么可以挑的骨头了。何况，别忘了玩家们会自制高清模组呢。

    当然，作为一款合作游戏，如果你是独自玩耍，必然会失去太多乐趣。除非你是要练习技术去打对抗或者高难度战役，不然一般人在熟悉游戏以后很难找到理由在没车队的时候点开求生——除非你是背板党，或者你是哪种单纯享受过关快感的玩家，又或者你是为了录视频……

    作为一个十多年前的游戏，引擎固然优秀但是依然略显老态。游戏中一些小细节比如双脚不着地时是没有硬直影响的、小僵尸在蹲下的时候不会有硬直等等，但这些小bug并不会造成太大的影响，最多只是让你撞下彩吃下亏。只要心态不蹦，这点小缺点基本可以无视。甚至在大佬眼里，这些不是小缺点，而是可以利用的小技巧。

    Enough negativity its still an awesome game do and if you got many friends you got an awesome game experience that will keep you up for months

    9.5 - Probably one of the best game sequels of all time. Left 4 Dead 2 makes everything from the first upgraded, only with new special infected and new awesome characters. Campaign quality is equally as good as the first and the Steam workshop have done a really good job on additional content. On top of all this, multiplayer was professionally made and has very minimal flaws.

    Has two games in 1. L4D1 and 2. DLC was excellent, free. User created content beyond parity, although lacking in creative content from the userbase. One of the best games in history.

    Whereas once we treated Left 4 Dead as a stopgap between Half-Lifes, this is no longer a weird little side project with modest expectations, and Valve is confident enough to play around with it, safe in the knowledge that you can trust your players. Left 4 Dead proved it. And whereas that game had a personality, this one is overflowing with it.
