  • Summary: You're 25, you feel like all of your peers are ahead of you in life so you apply for a new job to try to find some sort of meaning. Your new career is filled with physics-based puzzles, hand drawn art & a cute little story.

Hopefully it’s relatively clear at this point that this game is odd. It is indeed wonderfully strange, set in some sort of adjacent reality, where death and life seem to overlap. You are as likely to be solving object puzzles as you are to be cooking raw brains to restore the internal organs of a renter. It’s creepy, but presented as if it were anything but.

In some ways this feels a tiny bit like an outsider game. It's an adventure game, but it doesn't feel bound to the genre the way other adventure games do, but it's also not in the genre because it doesn't fit anywhere else, Her Story style. The little puzzles and doohickeys are a bit simple, but the way traditional trappings get used makes it feel like the designer was thinking about what would be cool and neat first, and what genre conventions dictate second.
