Dec 30, 2022I typed up a long review but metacritic is a broken and useless website so it won't let me post it. So I'll just say this - this is a very bad game. Don't waste your time and money.

Jan 25, 2023It's a great game if you like classic survival horror games like Resident Evil or the first Silent Hill.
The best thing about this game is the setting and the story. The pixel art graphics do the job and the music is quite good. As a drawback I could say that the combat is too "rough" but in summary it is a great game.

Sep 7, 2021Lamentum’s story and puzzle-solving challenges do feel too much like a rehash of those very same games that inspired it. In some ways, being an almost 1-1 repetition. However, thanks to its spine-chilling atmosphere and old-school survivor horror mechanics, it does play like a survival horror game from the 1990s. So if you like those, this is definitely the game for you.
