    The Knights of the Cross is a pretty but ultimately shallow card based battler. The ally system is a decent twist but the atrocious translation and lack of exciting details in the combat bring it back down. The peculiar choice of art style also makes it a game you might want to hide when a family member walks in.

    The game has some amusing moments, is quite engaging and successfully evokes some emotions. At the same time, it can be very clumsy and if less time was spent on breast physics and more on gameplay and interface improvements, the title would be much more compelling.

    Krzyżacy – The Knights of the Cross has a unique deckbuilding mechanic that I hope can be built on within the genre and an eye-popping art style that deserves appreciation. It stumbles in almost every other design decision and awkward approach to story and characters, but avid card players and anime girl appreciators will have found their niche title.
