    Kraken Academy!!’s strengths are largely skin deep, let down by the lack of focus and care put into its gameplay and story. Amusing, quirky characters may keep you going for a while, but this isn’t a game you really want to be stuck in as time loops repeatedly.

    Kraken Academy is a very whacky Adventure game. It doesn't have a lot of "choice" in terms of paths or order to do things but offers optionalKraken Academy is a very whacky Adventure game. It doesn't have a lot of "choice" in terms of paths or order to do things but offers optional side quests that are sometimes too short but sometimes also very cute - like a date at a waterpark. Nevertheless, the game is satisfying to play. Smashing trashcans and interacting with the characters is very fun and feels good. The game doesn't have any skill or level system so it's very easy to pick up and play. One might find it lackluster but it's okay for what game it wants to be. I wish QTEs were handled differently as sometimes the "Losing"-reward is funnier than the "Winning"-Reward and winning is very easy. The game is very pleasant to 100% with it rewarding you being thorough. All in all it's a game I would recommend.… Full Review »
