Klocki is a good game, but it takes a bit too long to ramp up the difficulty, which I also listed as a problem for the developer's other game "Hook", it seems to be a reoccurring theme. The puzzle side of klocki is basically: complete the path. Throughout the game many different types of paths are introduced, whether it's a pink line, a yellow line, a green blob, or what have you, you have to connect them all across different 3D planes to complete each puzzle. Despite the influx of different colors and planes throughout, the puzzles really never have enough incorrect solutions, so solving each puzzle can usually be done with quite ease. It's unfortunate because the game is very sleek, and has very polished sound design and visuals. But when it really comes down to it the balancing is lacking pretty hard. Klocki gets difficult when it has about 10 levels left, which personally I think is the biggest problem with the game. It really makes you think methodically and observe before making any actions (much like "Hook"), but since the first ~40 levels were a breeze, the actual challenge only stands for about 20 minutes tops. If the difficulty ramped up by the 10th or so level, this would be a great puzzler, but because of the lack of wrong solutions, it's just too easy.

All that being said, I'm giving klocki a pretty decent mark because of the very solid construction, polish, and underlying mechanics-of which new ones are introduced consistently throughout. Also, because of the fact that the developer is only asking for pocket change, you really have nothing to lose. If the difficulty were more balanced I would probably give klocki an 8, but I just can't go above a 7 for a "puzzle" game that's this easy.

Klocki, the first 30 minutes was funny, but then, was always the same. Change the perspective and the new form to move the pieces, but nothing more.

A good game, but boring at the same time.
