Nov 13, 2025Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 ends on a brilliant and melancholy high. This is a near-perfect expansion that highlights everything great about Henry's adventures. I will miss this world and these characters dearly.
-
Nov 18, 2025Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 maintains its historical realism, improves on what the first game did well, and gains extra momentum with the Mysteria Ecclesiae DLC, which shifts the focus from combat to investigation. The story places Henry alongside the historical physician Sigismund Albicus as they deal with an outbreak inside the Sedletz Monastery, requiring observation, stealth, and choices that can affect the ending.
-
Dec 2, 2025Mysteria Ecclesiae serves as a dignified final chapter to Kingdom Come: Deliverance. It offers a tightly focused story about faith and guilt that draws the player in and holds attention until the very end. The Sedlec Monastery captivates with its atmosphere and perfectly complements the melancholic tone of Jindřich’s farewell. Mysteria Ecclesiae does not strive for grandeur, but for beauty in the details, and in that, it truly succeeds.
-
Nov 10, 2025If you enjoyed the journey of Kingdom Come: Deliverance II, Mysteria Ecclesiae is a golden opportunity to return to it to solve a meticulously crafted mystery.
-
Nov 21, 2025A strong story add-on with a beautiful new map, but few gameplay innovations.
-
Nov 11, 2025Mysteria Ecclesiae is one of the strongest DLCs for KCD2, featuring an intriguing story and a vibrant setting, although the way you’re meant to play it feels a bit too constrained.
-
Nov 12, 2025It’s still very well crafted and definitely worth your time to play, in my opinion. But amongst the three major DLCs? This one is sadly probably the weakest. There isn’t even much reason to revisit the monastery later even though you can, unless you missed some hidden thing while you were there, so this DLC is pretty much one-and-done, while the Brushes with Death and Legacy of the Forge DLC updates both added new activities you can do, adding considerable value to the time you spend in Bohemia.
