  • Summary: Long ago, the gods of Olympus, led by Zeus, and the Titans, led by Zeus' father Kronos, fought for control of the universe. This battle of the gods was known as the Titanomachia, and it was so large in scale that it nearly destroyed the world.

Zeus tried to win Nike, the goddess of victory who had the blood of the Titans, to his side, but Cronus, learning of this, tricked Nike into taking away her wings and plunged her into the abyss of Tartarus, the cave of the abyss.
