    I believe, even though there is an ending, that the Zero is a loop, and I am just another ghost that echoes around it forever. For it was – it is – unforgettable. [RPS Bestest Bests]

    If you’re already immersed in the world of Kentucky Route Zero, there’s really no question that you’ll play this final act. You’ll need to see how things conclude. But if you were sitting on the fence waiting, know that, now that the saga is over, it was worth the wait. There’s really nothing like it. It’s weird and confusing but in a way that only heightens the despair and struggle at the heart of its story. It’s a long, strange trip where the destination is the least important part.

Perhaps, but it does not justify boredom and counter-intuitive design choices. There are other, at least equally deep experiences, like "Disco Elysium" or "Pathologic 2" to name some, which are much more riveting. HOWEVER, it is still worth to buy and play just Act 1 of Kentucky Route Zero. It is interesting, intriguing, has excellent sound design and pacing.… Full Review »
