    Great game, would murder religious dickheads with harpoon guns again in a heartbeat. Also the most brutal game that generally won't kill you, just leave you beat up to recover on your own.

    This is a masterpiece of a sandbox RPG. It is the kind of game that is very punishing at first, but as you learn how it works you will become more and more powerful. This game has some technical shortcomings such as inconsistent terrain-mesh and loading, but these are not enough to truly detract from the experience. Also mod support is a big plus for a game that is already very replayable.

    This game is amazing. The only other game that get's close to Kenshi is Rimworld.
    It is funny how you start travelling with a goal in mind and so many things started happening that it changes your adventure entirely. For me is clearly one of the best Strategy Colony Sim in the market.

    The game is very diverse, the freedom that the game gives to you is it so big that you can do what ever you want without any aids like in another games, just at the beginning is really difficult. I put a 9/10 because there are thing that they have to improve, but the game I really recommend it if you like a challenge.

    A labour of love with some rough edges bur something I can put thousands of hours trying different things, playstyles, enemies and just seeing the empty horizon of the isolated world.

    Almost any dialogue between the NPCs is a masterpiece! Each NPC has his own style of conversation and behavior! Many of them may have goals, so they're not just useless carcasses, they live in this world just like we do. Almost!Increasing your character's stats is almost always an easy thing to do with hard consequences. For example, to quickly increase your attack, you have to fight enemies who have a higher attack level than you, but in 90%, at the beginning of the game you will lose. If you're lucky you'll be beaten into a coma. Don't forget that you can be enslaved, dismembered, eaten and just killed. so yes, a painful experience.Construction is good, literally build your own business or even city,lol.Take customers or get **** by bandits!Don't want to get your ass kicked in your own city? Buy a house in a city that will protect you!All easy!(Don't forget to lock your house doors)Steal! Rob! Kill! Revenge! Craft! Sell slaves (lol)! Be a slave! And much more in the world of kenshi.
    The minuses are: really outdated graphics.I understand that the game was done by one person, but I can not hide the fact that even with these graphics game is very poorly optimized. No matter what killing machine you play with,kenshi put it on its knees at a certain point,the most terrible place for fps,it's probably the swamp,storm gap Coast,in my case.There are a bunch of mods that cure the bad optimization,but can't completely get rid of it.As for character animations .They are too few. Just a very few animation for battles, interaction with objects, etc.I want more.Autowalk, sometimes behaves very strangely. Instead of going exactly to the goal, set on the map, the character can sometimes choose completely wrong way, and just stop for no reason.
    There are some places where you could logically walk and get there, but the game does not allow it. On the map there are some objects through which you can literally walk, I'm not kidding.Once I went through the texture of a large stone, iron wrecks through the remains of a ship, it's not nice, it needs fixes!Character Editor is not bad but too simple.Not even able to choose the color of the eyes, facial expression, birthmarks, etc. I think sometimes that the faces of the characters are strange, as if their faces are empty, no shadows and too "plastic".Despite these minuses, the game is great, the best in its genre!    … Expand

Но то как ты можешь влиять на соотношения сил и власти в мире просто поражает. Чтоб вы понимали, тут начиная игру ты не избранный, ты не Довагин какой-нибудь. Ты просто никто и никакой супер силы у тебя нет. И то как ты будешь развиваться, качаться, богатеть и так далее зависит только от тебя, и вот здесь начинается самое прикольное. В игре нет миссий. Полная свобода! Хочешь, будь купцом бегай торгуй шмотом который сам сделал или с помощью своих соратников у себя на форпосте. Хочешь будь наркошей и тайно продавай ,,колеса" мясной мафии. Хочешь, будь мародером грабь побежденных и продавай шмот и их в рабство. Хочешь, будь великим вором или легендарным борцом за справедливость, или охотником за сокровищами. Количество возможностей уйма.

    По началу покажется, что дичь какая-то. Графон отстой, камера хрень, но потом затянет так что за уши не оттянешь.    … Expand

    Kenshi is a unique experience in which you can build entire cities, form new societies, wage war against different factions, venture out solo as a wanderer, and so much more. My favorite experience so far has been roaming around hunting for lost technology, must be the BrotherHood Of Steel still resonating in me.

    This game is almost brilliant, but you can see the lack of proper funding and, as a result, a worthwhile RPG plot and production. Since almost one person made the game and did it for 12 years, then 10 without talking.

    This has been such a Labor of Love by Lo-Fi games and it has been my pleasure to watch the development of this awesome game to Gold Release over the last 8+ years. Amazing depth of role-playing with this game and NPC interaction. Not crazy about the camera though

    What doesn't kill you makes you stronger - the game. Kenshi is suffering. It is brutal. In a huge world where you can basically do anything you want. But you first have to live. Like the game says; you are not special, you are not the chosen one. You are just a chump and basically everything can kill you. And should you feel the game finally gets stale, there are a lot of mods that can completely change the experience if you want.
    The only reason I'm not giving this a 10 is because the game stll has performance issues and bugs. Though there are fixes and workarounds to most of those, it can break the immersion and be a nuisance. The graphics are definitely outdated, though they are more than enough to convey the atmosphere of a bleak and desolate World. At any rate, it is one of the best games I've ever played.    … Expand

The graphics are HORRIBLE, to put it lightly, it's almost if the creator never bothered to change them throughout it's long development time. The gameplay is clunky and buggy like crazy. The world feels lifeless. NPCIf I had to describe this game in one word, it would be clunky. The game started development in 2006, and it seems like almost every aspect stayed back in that time. The graphics are HORRIBLE, to put it lightly, it's almost if the creator never bothered to change them throughout it's long development time. The gameplay is clunky and buggy like crazy. The world feels lifeless. NPC pathfinding is a mess. And there are a heap of other problems. This game may have been good had it actually released back in 2008 or so, but it was pushed back and back and back, now everything about it was just stuck in the past.

    One of the few impressive parts of the game is that you have the ability to do practically whatever you want, you can be a bounty hunter, a farmer, you can travel the map as a trader, you can be a thief, you can be a raider, be a cannibal, become a miner and sell copper etc,    … Expand

    Un juegazo que si bien no está del todo pulido es buenísimo una joya increíble con un mundo basto y vivo que aunque cruel y hasta injusto en algunos casos es muy disfrutable te lo recomiendo si soportas bien comer pija porque en parte de eso va el juego

    I'm on the bad side of them because I butted heads with one person - the creator of Project Genesis, Atlas. I bought Kenshi in June of 2020, and downloaded Genesis / joined their discord to learn more about this thing that I had just got. I've never modded a game, but for whatever reason thought I    I'll start things off by saying I'm on the bad side of the Kenshi moderation team.

    I'm on the bad side of them because I butted heads with one person - the creator of Project Genesis, Atlas.

    I bought Kenshi in June of 2020, and downloaded Genesis / joined their discord to learn more about this thing that I had just got. I've never modded a game, but for whatever reason thought I might be able to increase my own fun by adjusting this one.

    It became a rabbit hole of changes, and this guy quickly had issues with them. He started accusing me of mod theft, despite me never distributing my mod to the public, or even to friends. He went on Reddit and promised users could get $12,000 USD for reporting me to the US Government copyright office. He also doxxed me, taking it upon himself to share my personal information.

    I first tried to resolve this in Discord. Mods suggested we block one another. I did. He did not. Instead he responded when I would talk with more accusations of theft, and if I clicked the show message button I'd see it.

    I complained, nobody cared.

    I then tried to resolve this on reddit. The moderator there, Arkontas, allowed Atlas public harassment to stand, and only nominally removed the doxxing post because it violated reddits core policies and could likely get the community shut down as a whole.

    I tried to resolve this in the official Kenshi discord, with two of the moderators there.

    Within 4 hours of me contacting one moderator, suddenly Atlas messages me on a discord account I never use. I wouldn't have known about it except that an alert went to my email box that I had a new message. He contacts me using my real life name, and accuses me of stalking him.

    I contacted another moderator, and was called a kid, and asked why the ♥♥♥♥ I was speaking (loose paraphrase, the actual quote was 'why the ♥♥♥♥ did you speak').

    Unfortunately, this is how this community treats its users. if you dont jack off the moderators here and constantly praise their good deeds and often incomplete ideas, they treat you like crap.

    If you call them out for it, you're on their ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

    I have a whole host of messages people have sent me about the 'drama' in Kenshi. A single player game. There are a few websites devoted to the misbehavior of some of these people.

    Think about that for a second. A single player game with drama.
    Great game, but the community at the top is run by a group of narcissists.

    So while the game is great, the mod staff is sterotypically neckbeard/weebo and that sets a very negative tone for socialization.

    Advice - Play the game. Enjoy it. If you can deal with the other stuff, cool. I can't. The Kenshi community for me is the definition of toxic.    … Expand

Want to take over countries? You can. Want to create a drug smuggling empire? Do it. Want to wear the skin of your enemies as you genocide the entire continent? Yup. Кенши не такая, тебя бросают в мир со своей историей и уникальными персонажами. Ты можешь по крупицам его изучать, вникая в сюжет, находя различные книги и записки, а можешь забить, и стать торговцем/кузнецом/киллером, или построить свой город.     Kenshi es lo que considero como el "juego definitivo", litarlmente puedes hacer de todo y todo lo que se te ocurra y me sorprende lo bien que esta logrado sin tener completamente una historia lineal como otro tipos de juegos y me sorprende mucho lo poco conocido que es este juego. Se me hace difícil hablar de un juego tan basto como este y estoy seguro que independiente    Kenshi 10/10

    Kenshi es lo que considero como el "juego definitivo", litarlmente puedes hacer de todo y todo lo que se te ocurra y me sorprende lo bien que esta logrado sin tener completamente una historia lineal como otro tipos de juegos y me sorprende mucho lo poco conocido que es este juego.

    Se me hace difícil hablar de un juego tan basto como este y estoy seguro que independiente de todo lo que hable no lograre hacerle justicia a este grandioso juego, en definitiva y como comente anteriormente kenshi es un juego de rol basado en escuadrones sin objetivo principal claro. con características de juego sandbox con final abierto y sin una historia lineal. En kenshi podras ser lo que tu quieras ser, puedes ser un comerciante, un ladrón, un rebelde, un señor de la guerra, un aventurero, un granjero, un esclavo o simplemente comida para los caníbales.

    Simplemente la cantidad de opciones que este juego ofrece es muy amplio, literalmente puedes ser/hacer lo que a ti se te ocurra, el juego cuenta con diversos inicios (debido a que solo posee una única dificultad el tipo de inicio que elijas puede desencadenar toda la experiencia) lo que hara que en cada partida que jueges tengas una experiencia de juego completamente distinta a la anterior, a lo largo de tu aventura puedes jugar con uno o mas personajes (incluso pudiendo controlar a los animales del grupo) cada personaje cuenta con su propia historia y se pueden unir a tu equipo si les pagas o si los logras convencer a travez de la oratoria, cabe resaltar que cada uno de estos personajes tiene un sistema de habilidades por lo que puedes ir especializándolos en diversos aspectos como en velocidad de carrera, natación, habilidad con la espada o espada larga, tiro, puntería y kenpo un tipo de arte marcial muy eficaz y entretenida de ver en acción, como ya mencione antes existen diversos personajes en el juego los cuales pueden pertenecer a diversas razas las cuales son humanos, los esqueletos (robots), los shek y los hive, cada una de estas tiene diferentes habilidades los que los hace mejores que otros para ciertos tipos de trabajos, aunque también existen sub-razas dentro de estas razas por lo que deberás ver bien cual es el mejor trabajo que pueden desempeñar, aunque con suficiente practica cualquier personaje puede ser un experto en todo.
    el juego cuenta con un mapa inmenso y la posibilidad de poder contruir echar anclas en cualquier lugar del mapa, pero esta lleno de peligros y facciones, si facciones, en kenshi existen muchas facciones las cuales se reparten el mapa y tienen conflictos entre ellas y... con la facción del jugador, porque entre las posibilidades que existen esta la de crear una propia facción, cabe rezaltar que el mapa de facciones es dinamico, todas las partidas empiezan iguales pero podría darse el caso que si una facción pierde muchas escaramusas de la facicon enemiga pierda una que otra ciudad, de igual forma la posición de las facciones puede influir en el jugador.

    Kenshi es un juego increíble, literalmente da la posibilidad de hacer una infinidad de cosas, lo que acabo de detallar aquí fue solamente una pincelada de lo que yo e experimentado y revisando por internet existen muchas otras cosas que se pueden hacer en este mundo postapocalíptico... si, como leíste, Kenshi también es un juego ambientado en un mundo postapocalíptico y ofrece la oportunidad de ir descubriendo que fue lo que llevo a este evento hace cientos de años.

    I recently noticed some Kenshi game-play, downloaded demo and found it very addictive. I bought the game at full price via Steam and i am happy with this purchase, except last few nights I send playing this highly addictive game.
    How would I describe it?
    Fallout 1/2 mixed with Mount&Blade (minus FPS/slasher). No other RPG game allows you to do ANYTHING in the game, like looting,    I recently noticed some Kenshi game-play, downloaded demo and found it very addictive. I bought the game at full price via Steam and i am happy with this purchase, except last few nights I send playing this highly addictive game.

    It took Chris Hunt and his small team 12 years to develop Kenshi and that unfortunately shows. The game utilizes an archaic engine, is poorly optimised and hideous most of the time. It also does next to nothing to help the player get a grasp of its mechanics, and, as it happens, their complexity are Kenshi’s most important aspect. I would be happy to love this game, because I understand and applaud Hunt’s idea of completely open gameplay, but loving Kenshi is extremely hard. [02/2019, p.47]

    Do not trust your first impression - this game is a true gem. Elaborate, huge, unbridled, stylish, fresh, captivatingly different. The only blemish is its poor performance and many bugs.

    An intriguing RPG/Survival hybrid sandbox that invites you to experiment in the world it presents. Some technical hiccups interrupt the open world and the freeform nature definitely isn’t for everyone but if you are after something different, Kenshi is the very definition of that.
