Jun 30, 2022Amazing story where your choices matter. You really can learn things from about life from this game.
Also very beautiful art and sound. -
Jan 18, 2018EXCELLENT game ! Drawings are beautiful, dialogue superb, great story (the book was great), and choices matters. For this price, I'd recommend this game with my eyes closed ! Go for it !
And thank you Daedalic for this great game ! -

Jan 31, 2019The Name of the Rose like atmosphere, classic point&click adventure without tedious and illogical puzzles. Beautiful 2D graphics and interesting plot based on a great book.

Aug 13, 2023Tüm şahıslarını benimseten, oynanışı güzel harika oyun. Menşei kitabı okumaktansa kitap okur, film izler gibi bu oyunu oynayabilirsin.

May 5, 2020First of all, I must admit that the soundtrack is amazing! If you are into Point & Click games then you should definitely play this game. The story is amazing which is based on Ken Follett's award-winning novel... I really advise this game. 15hrs on record.

May 24, 2019Favorite Thing: After the story got going it was fairly interesting.
Least Favorite Thing: The game starts too slow. I almost gave it up within the first few hours.
Date Completed: 2019-05-24
Playtime: 14h
Enjoyment: 7/10
Recommendation: It's not one of my top point & click games but if you stick with it the story won't disappoint. -

Jul 16, 2021The visuals are fantastic and the story is a good adaptation of the book but most choices lead to the same result.
The first book kicks off very slowly but it gets better during the second and third books. -

May 17, 2021This is a point-and-click historical fiction novel. It's a good story that's quite emotional at times. I definitely enjoyed it, but it's also a bit mundane and bland compared to top-notch walking simulators such as The Walking Dead, Life is Strange, and What Remains of Edith Finch--all of which are extremely emotionally-stimulating compared to The Pillars of the Earth.

Jul 2, 2018The 20-plus hour commitment to The Pillars of the Earth is well worth it to enjoy this interactive towering tale, faithfully adapted to near-perfection by Daedalic. For patient gamers, this is not a narrative adventure that should be missed.
-
Jun 4, 2018A great adaptation of Ken Follett's Pillars of the Earth. Daedalic focused on narrative rather tan puzzles, but the game is very enjoyable due to rich characters and strong story.
-
Apr 19, 2018Atmospheric adaptation of the story as interactive visual novel. Overall a bit too lengthy and static with little gameplay variety.
