This game has AMAZING music and really good graphics. It is simple, yet challenging, and the music and shapes/attacks are perfectly synced. A must for anyone who likes addicting music-based games.

If you played geometry dash or that kind of a game, or enjoy bullet-hell games, this is the game for you. About graphics, there's not much to say. I think there is no need to talk about musics because my words are not powerful enough to describe this soundtrack. Gameplay is satisfying. So here is my final decision: If you have money, you should buy the game. If you don't, watch this game from somewhere, because this game deserves sharing. Expand

One of the most enjoyable split screen games for 4 players. Me and my friends had great time playing this.

Just picked this game up. I played the demo at pax a few years back and the game has alot more now that it has been fully released. Its a verify good game if you bullet hell games and rhythm games. I am an enjoying it alot. The game is simple to lean and pick up but some of them levels can be challenging. Its a great party game or good game to get lost in music to.

What is this game is difficult to notice among many indie games, as it seems at first glance one figurative. But is it? Today I want to make a remark about what to look at it. Today I want to make a remark about what to look at it. Well, let's start with the visual, it's beautiful here, these words will be enough. And what about the gameplay has something to say. Firstly, he is strongly associated with music here and it is damn unusual in comparison with today's indie games. Secondly, its dynamism in some moments just rolls over, sometimes you don't even know where to hide in order to survive. The plot is here, but it is difficult to call it not childish, because it is built on friendship and mutual assistance. But in addition to the advantages in the game there are downsides, but rather they are connected with my preferences.
Firstly, the duration of the game is negligible, because it took me almost 2 hours to go through it. Secondly, there are too few music levels here, as they depend on the amount of music, but all music is not really them, therefore I see no reason to add so little music. And then there are some problems with complexity. Since it is at some points off scale, and in most cases average. If you warn us about the occurrence of epilepsy and you are aimed at a Danish audience, then why add casual mode, you'd better add a more complicated mode.
Summing up, I want to say, if you like the genre of dubstep music, electro and you want to have a nice evening, then this game is just born for you, since there is online and cooperative modes and answering the question: "Is the game worth the money?" I can answer: "Yes worth it!".

Sarebbe bellissimo trovare nella tracklist anche dei brani di undertale. Cmq il gioco è quasi perfetto.

Just Shapes & Beats is amazing!
The main game alongside with its DLC Lost Chapter is outstanding.

Unfortunately I cannot say something like that about lore or story, the only thing I can say it exists. But it only serves as justification of gameplay.
Soundtrack is consists of lots of cool songs from some famous musicians such as Bossfight, Chipzel, Nitro Fun, Shirobon and more. And the soundtrack is magnificent.
Also these arguments also perfectly fit DLC, but I’d like to add that Undertale Easter eggs, and even a whole level called Spider Dance is pleasing to see.

First off Just Shapes & Beats 100% deserved that spot on New Frame Plus's video. The animations are sublime. You'd never expect to see simple shapes convey such personality but Berzerk Studio does it so well! Everything in the entire game is just loaded with personality and creativity to the point that you can just get a feel for the dev team behind it and how much they enjoyed it themselves.

The only negative note I have on it is that my typical rule of thumb is that I get 1 hour per $1 I spend but in this game, I beat story in 4 hours. Typically this would make me more hesitant to recommend but with how beautifully crafted it is I am totally fine with letting this one issue slide. This issue could also be taken care of if the devs release a way to make custom maps, this would become one of my most played games if that was a thing.

All in all this game is wonderful and I would highly recommend it!

Shapes, beats and extremely fun gameplay. (But the game is short 3.2 hours) Musics are great too.

I remember the first time I played this game; I completed the game in a single session (would recommend) with a friend in 2 player mode. The music is PHENOMINAL and at some points i got up and started dancing. Sometimes it can be a little slow doing the 3 level parts to unlock the next story part, but the boss fights make it all worth it. This game is a blast and I love it! Really really great music. Great rhythm game to be honest. And it was one of those games where I listen to the music to this day. It doesn't matter if you are a beginner or a master of rhythm games. You'll love this game.

Just Shapes & Beats is an exciting and challenging marriage of sound, color, and chaos. For some, the experience may be overwhelming. For others, it will be their new, casual couch go-to. Either way it’s worth your time.

This is about as pure as a game can be. You learn how to play it in a few minutes, but can sit with it for hours. Its stylistic visuals and awesome soundtrack draw you in and keep you hypnotised, while addictive and challenging gameplay teases you with frantic block-dodging mayhem, great multiplayer modes and weird, surprisingly emotive "characters." In a time of incredible looking, but often flabby titles, it's nice to be reminded that, sometimes, Just Shapes & Beats is all you need.
