Dec 18, 2018Absolutely Punch Tanaka level of quality. There's something here for everyone, even if you're not a fan of traditional turn based combat, the graphical style, music, characters and exploration will keep you hooked.

Dec 18, 2018Best turn-based RPG I've played in a long time! Great story, great game play, great characters, and great music, just everything about this game is great! Has almost 60 hours worth of content. I can't recommend it enough! If you are a fan rpgs like Earthbound, you will love this game.

Dec 19, 2018Jimmy and the Pulsating Mass is an amazing RPG filled with unique battle mechanics, funky music, charming and flesh-out characters, and a story that will keep you at the edge of your seat. It is clear that there was a lot of love poured into this game. A must-play for fans of games such as Yume Nikki, OFF, and the MOTHER series.

Apr 15, 2024Jimmy and the Pulsating Mass is a gift. Its at first simplistic presentation belies a work of thought, care, and empathy. It satisfies those looking for quality in exploration, combat, and writing, while tying all elements together to focus the experience on communicating its message.

Dec 12, 2018Jimmy and the Pulsating Mass moved me in a way that a game hasn't in many years. It's as though Ozymy reached into my childhood and created a game that appeals to me on every level. Its beautifully written characters, surprisingly robust combat system, and satisfying exploration make it worth the price of admission. Jimmy and the Pulsating Mass is a quirky, hilarious, emotional experience that simply shouldn't be missed.

Dec 3, 2018Jimmy and the Pulsating Mass is a fantastic RPG that has every right to stand right next to the classics that inspired it, and especially the SNES gem known as Earthbound. It's funny, weirdly heart-warming and melancholic at the same time, and, believe it or not, very spooky. Apart from those who resent turn-based battles, or don't have the patience to do some heavy grinding, most are definitely advised to try this out.
