    It was my most favorite game ever created.
    I think nowadays gamers don't like this game!

    Its just amazing what they did on this amazing game.
    It got them graphics you will love as a child.
    Awesome soundtrack.
    And amazing gameplay.

If after more than 13 years I still come back to it from time to time to indulge in some nostalgia from days gone by, then surely this says something about the impact it's had on me. The fun platforming action, combined with Alexander Brandon's MAGNIFICENT soundtracks for each level made Jazz Jackrabbit 2 a game that I will remember for as long as I am alive.… Expand

    It just got everything you'll need to chill - superb music (Alexander Brandon is the boss, just look at his gaming resume - Jazz 1, Jazz 2, Unreal, Unreal Tournament, Deus Ex, UT 2 etc.), well designed levels (I'm still not capable of finding some secrets), nice graphics, tons of actions, and tons of fun. It's worth mentioning, that levels does not apply to rule "from left to right", but requires some skilled movies. It isn't a Super Meat Boy advance level, but it's rather hard to be bored (which could happened, unfortunately, on The Secret Files).

    We could be grumpy, that single is just too ez now (because it is), that the game itself is NOT SO LONG (few hours, less than 10 in worst case, are needed to finish), that only 640x480 available. But at 1998 - this was the best game can offer without huge drops on tempo and FPS.

    It still works well, even on Windows 10 (other windows as well). For now, it doesn't require computing power at all - could be run in ~20 years old PC/laptop. It still gives good flashbacks, some challenge (although, it's not very hard, after all these years), amazing feelings, when listening music (almost all ambient fans should at least like it). It's also superb proposition for next generations of kids (and possibly - gamers).

    I'm just hoping that some day, they will bring it back on steam, GOG, or at least made a very last chord to this fantastic, but short series.
    And yes - it's quite nostalgic, but I simply still love this game and still enjoy it. Hope it last for enough time to be shown to my own kids.    … Expand

Cheerful, colorful graphics, nice soundtrack and attractive gameplay featuring (obviously) jumping, collecting, shooting. Level design is also worth remembering. Sadly, a single-player portion of the game is not very challenging.
    On the other hand, JJ2 features a GREAT multiplayer with well-known modes (deathmatch, capture the flag), matching even modern FPS games! 14 years after release, you can still find players on unofficial servers (the official ones have been down for a long time now).
    Overall, you can have great fun with this game - I highly recommend it!    … Expand

    However this sequel is cute, fun, remarkable and entertaining, the graphics are all good considering its age, the controls are great, the sounds are 'ok'.
    Some maps have 2 routes to choose from that leads the player into different areas of maps and also there are 3 different characters to choose from and each character has some different moves that also provides a slightly different gameplay.
    The game design is therefore clever, but also very repetitive at some points.    … Expand
