    Beautiful satire that shows very well how a communist/socialist country really works out to be in the practice (that comes from an Argentine whose country is plagued by socialism, which is basically the game but replacing the almighty leader with politicians in general).     Instant classic :) Humorous, well written, clearly made by people with passion for classic point & click games. Highly recommended piece of gaming art!

    It could be much more. The adventure has the technical foundation to be great but it falls short at achieving anything more than an "ok, playable". The main problem with the game is that nothing is spectacular, expect maybe the design of the art and the outline of the story. The puzzles are either extremely easy or uninteresting (and a couple are kinda nonsensical if the in-game helpIt could be much more. The puzzles are either extremely easy or uninteresting (and a couple are kinda nonsensical if the in-game help system isn't used), the characters are usually boring and banal with their dialogues and monologue being often extremely predictable and the details of the story not that great, for the most part at least.
    In general, all in all, the game is "just ok", nothing is totally terrible, nothing is totally great (expect maybe the aesthetics of the art and the big picture of the story) but for the most part it's mediocre for what a great adventure really needs: great story details, great characters, great puzzles, a captivating story.
    Would I recommend. MAYBE to die-hard adventure game fans but it's definitely not a great game to introduce someone else to point and click games.    … Expand

    Great 2D point & click game.
    PROS: perfect character animations + smart puzzles + brilliant help puzzles (phone) + very short loading times
    CONS: story didn't caught my eye

    Finally!!! Another point and click in the tradition of oldschool classics. I stumbled upon this one by accident. Irony Curtain is simply beautiful, with great animations, cool riddles, likeable protagonist, and most of all - it's funny as hell! :) Good job you guys for an amazing, well optimized game! Waiting for a sequel...

    If you’re not a member of the Communist Party and you do not feel nostalgic whenever someone mentions USSR, the journey to Matryoshka will bring you 10-12 hours of fun. Although it’s a bit disappointing that the writers missed an opportunity to turn this light comedy into a satirical study of a person’s fate in a totalitarian state where cult of personality reigns over all.

    Irony Curtain is a satirical point and click with plenty of nonpolitical humor that’s a pleasure to play. The art style is great, and the humor manages to be a good mix of political satire, references, and great jokes. Irony curtain is an excellent time if you are looking for a relaxing point and click with great atmosphere.

    Α gorgeous blast from the past, Irony Curtain is a tribute to all of the 90s comedy adventures, with an intriguing spin of adding a self deprecating humorous view behind the curtain of an unknown cold-war state.
