Mar 3, 2020If you can get past the gratingly bad voice work and writing, a jaggedly unpolished game awaits you.

Mar 3, 2020Pretty to look at but not very fun to play. Deckbuilding should be easy to learn and satisfying to master - this is a pain to learn and not rewarding once mastered.
-
Mar 4, 2020then again, it wouldn't make sense if a game about depression was fun to play
-
Mar 4, 2020not bad but needs more explanations on how the game works, kind of frustrating

Mar 17, 2021Iris and the Giant is unassuming, but quietly brilliant. A positively beautiful turn- and card- based roguelike that won’t gobble up hundreds of hours of your life.

CD-ActionApr 17, 2020Truly intriguing. So far it’s the best new tactical card game this year. And a true feast for eyes and ears. [05/2020, p.68]

Mar 13, 2020I really never thought I would ever be someone who played deckbuilding games. I never managed to get into Slay The Spire or Darkest Dungeon, and figured it wasn’t a genre I’d ever get to grips with. And then I stumbled on Meteorfall. It was love at first sight. It clicked. I got it. I got really good at it! I played it until I was on game+++ modes for every character, in a way I never play games! I’m having very similar feelings about Iris And The Giant.
