    Very addictive beautifully made game. Gonna love playing more of it when i can leave it to take over my gaming life!

    A loved how hard it is to get into it at the start but after a while you get more badass

    When I downloaded this game I was really looking forward to playing. As a big fan or Arkanoid I wanted this game to impress. That didn't happen i'm afraid, and this is more to do with the control set up that anything else. First tried playing with the mouse, but got very little reaction, just slight responses to the controls. When I switched to use the 360 controller got full control of the paddle, however the slow movement of the paddle made it impossible to keep in play even on the earliest levels, just makes the game frustrating.… Expand

    People will appreciate it for the nostalgic memories that can evoke, while newcomers will still find this game modern and appealing.

    Constantly losing the ball in cascading explosions of color and then having almost no time to react when the ball drops out of the fog of sparks can lead to a lot of aggravation, and this may in turn lead some gamers to start punching the real bricks in their walls.

    Ionball 2 is a really well polished and generally decent Breakout game, there’s enough interesting ideas and customisation in the active and passive upgrades to give you a few playthroughs and still have you enjoy it every time. If you’re interested in a little bit of brick breaking action you can’t go wrong here.
